"Wow. The way you make it sound...You sure Siegs not your father?"

Tres had a big grin on his face. His dad told him that he was just like him when he was a kid but, damn Tres didn't think they had been that similar. He and his father were so different now. Tres loved and respected his dad but he had concluded that they were so different that he didn't even try to be like him. His thoughts dwelt on this girls mothers relationship to his father, and though what he said was in jest...that was kind of deep.

"but no, I guess I'm not Sieg"

Tres wasn't going to tarnish his fathers good name with his own evil deeds.

"I'm Tres.

Tres Ecstuffuan.

I hope we can get to know each other a little better salina, you certainly seem interesting.

So I guess thats where you learned how to punch. Your mom must have been one of my fathers students at some point."

Tres's right eye would twitch for a short instance before she would allude to how they might be more closely related then an old friend of relative. Suddenly the possibility made her somewhat less attractive in his eyes.

Though as he thought about how weird it may be that he had tongue'd his sister, the thought did arise of why this attractive female was so interested in him. This question would take into account of how he had not to long ago disrespected her.

Tres's narcissm quickly answered his internal monologue with 'Damn, I must look that good', and suddenly her attention was fueling his ego. Tres then realized that in his pondering he hadn't listened to a word she just said...

"Umm...Yeah, so you said your new here right. Where are you from?"

If she thought Tres was a nice guy. She had no idea...

but he had his redeeming qualities, he wasn't a complete a** hole.

The story was interesting to say the least. Tres found out more and more about his dad from others as he stayed in Gaia. The thought occured to him though that this girl may be making all of this up for a nefarious reason, until she said something about Ertai. Ertai was someone whom Sieg spoke about before.

When Tres was a small child, Sieg used to tell him stories of his adventures in Gaia and Ertai judging by what Sieg told him was some sort of powerful wizard who wanted to destroy Gaia but eventually settled down and started living in it with everyone else. Tres found that story funny, especially the way Sieg told it. Sieg made it sound at first like Ertai was this terrible entity capable of wiping out reality as they knew it, and then suddenly Ertai was just another guy albeit with an ego.

Mentioning Ertai was the only thing that kept Tres from starting to talk to this girl like she was a crazy woman who wanted to be a groupy for his dad or something.

Tres would not be rude, and say what he really wanted to say, 'So why are you telling me your life story again?'...

Instead he would say:

"So your the daughter of big bad Ertai Vexic. My dad told me he was some Wizard or something who came to Gaia with the intention of destroying it and eventually just ended up like all the other people who trained and lived in Lu-Bu.

So if your Ertai's Daughter.

Do you know some of that big bad magic my dad made such a big deal of.", the reason Tres said this was because it was very rare that Sieg made anything in Gaia out to be stronger than the Ecstuffuan Style Martial arts or even in its league.

"Well. Only if you do something for me. See, this year I want to do something for my dad. I know he is getting a bit too old for the HOH and I know he probrably won't compete. The Heaven or Hell can't be the same without Lu-Bu and I'm gonna go in and keep the legacy going.

Your a legacy too. You said your mom's name was Lenne right? I know I've heard that last name some where. Lenne was a fighter on Team Lu-Bu, now I know if we train together we can get up to stuff.

Being Ertai's daughter had to leave you with something. My dad told me Ertai was capable of eating entire dimensions, besides your hot as ******** and Lu-Bu needs a face lift.

So if you fight for me on Team Lu-Bu, I'll introduce you to my father and get you the best training that money can by."

There were few things that Tres was passionate about. One was Combat, the other was family. It pained him that he could never be as a good a man as his father and the only way to avoid that pain was to not try at all and drown himself in the excesses of life. When he spoke about continuing his families legacy, he almost sounded like Sieg who always spoke about everything with such passion as if he were commanding an army. That was what attracted Athena to Sieg in the first place.

"Selina, Tres, Roja, and now we just need one more person."

He said to himself, looking down at his empty plate.

"Hey Selina, better go eat up if you want to join me tonight.

I'm gonna get throwed...", Tres looked at Salina with a smile on his face. She didn't seem to be the smartest broad ever, but hell be damned if he wasn't going to try and take advantage.

After a night of frivolity and fun, made complete with certain indecencies - the next morning was all serious. Tres had met the third member of his team. He and Roja had decided to put aside there differences to carry on the Lu-Bu name in the next years heaven or hell. This new woman, Selina Vexic was least to say too good to be true. She was attractive and apparently she knew how to fight, which was everything Tres was looking for right now...

but he had to make sure. He had to make sure that she wouldn't be a weak link.

The salty moist air rushed through his dreads as he stood atop the third floor deck of the massive cruise ship. It would be just he and the girl, who stood not too far away.

"Selina. Come, I hope your not hung over or anything. Its time to see if you really are the child of a monster."

Tres would hop a few feet away and land in his boxing stance, left lead forward, bouncing lithely on the balls of his feet.

"Your opponents will attack you with everything with everything but the intent to kill you, but don't even depend on that. Throw everything at your opponent, rip them apart mercilessly because that is what they are going to do to you."

Tres would move forward towards her with the shuffling footwork that revealed him to be a seasoned martial artist. He did not run or throw his momentum forward only to have it be manipulated against him. Tres was a big guy but he was also fast and dexterous, Him being larger than Selina was just something she was going to have to learn to deal with because Tres wasn't going to be the biggest guy in this tournament.

Upon getting in hand to hand range, Tres's hands would come up in a higher guard and his chin would go down. Tres would open up with a jab to the throat with his lead left hand and then follow immediatly with a right low thai round to the outside of her lead left leg. Tres wore knuckle dusters and greaves and his large hands and armored legs would deal a large amount of damage to the girl if it was left to hit.

Tres would take the right low kick. He would eat the kick, turning his left foot slightly in a clockwise turn to get the sensitive part of the thigh away from the shin as it collided into the leg. He would bend his knees so that the shock of the blow would meet less resistance, reducing the damage.

The waist would turn along with the lead left foot in the same direction. He would flex his left arm while the turn of his body would place the massive flexing left arm in front of the left palm strike, protecting his abdomen from the attack. The bending of his knees would lower his center of gravity , preventing him from being pushed back from the attack.

The turn of his body would briefly move his right hand from view, leaving it hidden behind the left arm. Tres would twist his hips in his counter clockwise turn in the opposite direction, thrusting his right hand forward as if he was throwing a right cross. Yet, as the hand flew towards Lennes left shoulder, she would notice that in his right hand was a small one inch push knife that had been drawn outside of her site in an attempt to catch her by surprise.

Because she was slightly leaning back, it would be tough to dodge it and because it was aimed at her left shoulder, it would be hard to block.
