Roland remains quiet, just letting out a sigh to know that that dude who JUST kicked his a** is here to protect him while someone's there to help him out. "Lady, at this rate? You could roll me down the road and around the corner, and it wouldn't effect me for s**t. I can't feel much of anything." Roland was pretty much bored at this rate, and really would have loved to get back to the hospital. Cause, you know... he'd like to feel... something.

She tilted her head from one side to the other, then gave a grim smile as she straightened, the guitar she was strumming at idly visibly rippling. In quick, fluid movements, it melted onto her arms, the strings brushing the dusty ground and twitching weakly. "How's this? I drag your living corpse where you point. You don't seemed to be exposed anywhere, really, so you shouldn't get any sort of...dirt burn."

It was possible that the pain had shut down part of his brain enough to make his brain just... not work. "Yeah, works for me. Just not interested in being dead... So... I guess take me wherever the doctors are. That'd be great miss..."

"Doctors, eh?" Mat repeated as lightly as she could, looking around. She had moved out of his view and let her pseudo-conscious strings grab on to different parts of his clothing as she tried to find where this hospital was. Just holding someone's life in yer hands, no pressure. "I suppose it's the one with the big red ... cross on a ... white background. Can't really tell with the uh, apparent business they're having." At least there weren't any explosions erupting in that building, she reminded herself as she started draggin him forward. It could be said that the stains were that of calm blood, or at least blood that wasn't shed in battle. Pain was sure to be a different story, but this guy seemed to be completely doped up on life's brink.

Roland nodded, his head sorta spinning. "Yeah, seems right." He was pretty quiet, and with the addreniline overload, his body had pulled every ounce of energy he had. The sensation of those wires around his body was an unusual one, but he had no real complaints. Not really. He was alive.
So, once inside, Roland is lifted up by doctors onto a table and rushed into the Emergancy room and Mat was asked a few simple questions by nurses, like her relationship to the man, how she found him, typical hospital stuff.
Roland was quickly injected with a nice bit of anistesia.

It probably wasn'y the trip over to the hospital that tired her so. It was certain that this Roland - funny that she learned his name from the staff and interviewing nurse - was no sac of feathers, but that sort of work never wore her out. She felt it, yes, and the ice pack on her shoulder was definitely accepted with gratitude, but she could hardly keep her eyes open. "Getting here, maybe," she yawned to herself after she was excused.
Yeah, that was probably it. Travelling and meandering around the world from the Arena and its housing complex took its toll on a body. "'Specially a rusty one," she muttered as she slumped into a particularly comfortable-looking chair. It wasn't like she was exactly waiting to see how the stranger turned out; rather, she was going on the assumption and the nurses wouldn't kick her out just yet, and that she had someplace to nap for however hours she could manage.

Chris Custard Well.. robbing an injured man wasn't nice... Saiya would find the arm with the switchblade in was now in the air with Siat's arm on the wrist, crimson eyes simply staring at her behind thin sunglasses. "You robbed someone who couldn't fight back, now you threaten them with a knife." Saiya would feel a rather painful sensation as Siat squeezed down on her wrist (he's very strong) but not hard enough to break it. "Explain to me why I shouldn't kill you." She grimaced, then shrugged, which was hard to do in her position, and turned her eyes upward. "I just asked him whether he would like me to put an end to his pain." she said in a clear, cold voice, lifting her chin up. "Reasonable enough question, in my opinion."

Siat would thin his eyes at her, then drop her.
"The name is Siat. Do not forget it."
And then he disappeared in a flash of flames.

(( I do not like getting stuck in one place and having whoever I am interacting with.. not show up for x amount of days ))
"Hey! You remember that.." Reiko said to the crowd that he had drawn from all this sudden action. Busy day. "The 200k isn't worth it if you gotta spend it all on reconstructive surgery."
His hands dropped to his sides and began swaying as he walked on down the street, parting the crowd like the Red Sea and continuing on.
"Strata's too hot and Aekea's the closest city? Hmm.."

Reiko would suddenly find himself with two feet directly into the base of his spine, delivered by Siat. Unless Reiko could somehow hear him coming (which was impossible, because of the crowd) he would be struck completely cleanly.

Siat disappeared earlier... and was busy with other stuff.
Impossible. Reiko was gone. Sucks for Siat.

Saiyamoru spat on the ground and got to her feet. The ghosts, massed around her, looked on with hollow eyes. "Goddamn them," she muttered, dusting her hands off. "Coming in, acting like they own the godsdamned world, ******** bastards that they are." The entire episode had put her in a sour mood. One more reason to leave Strata today--her street cred would be down within the hour. She snapped the switchblade back into the handle and replaced it in her sash. "And if that godsdamned coward shows up again, so help me if I don't leave his filthy godsdamned blood all over the street." she snarled under her breath. Behind her--perhaps in an attempt to cheer her-- the ghosts tugged lightly at her hair and earrings, sending them fluttering in a nonexistant breeze. When she impatiently tried to comb down her hair, their thin silvery hands dropped and the crowd fell behind her. As they passed through the crowd, the people shuddered and fell silent at the unusually cold gusts of air in Strata's normally balmy climate.
Saiya, oblivious in her rage, marched on to the docks.

PHEW!!! Arch stared up in awe at the magnificence of the northern gate. The lanky man was humbly dressed in a raggedy travel-worn, faded dark blue kimono that was caked with the ruddy brown dirt of the dessert that was flecked with rusty spots of dried blood. The raggedy torn edges of his meger kimono whipped around his legs violently in the wind. Arch placed his fingers at the edge of his wide brimmed sakkat, and brought it lower over his eyes. It had been a foolish mistake to press on through the beating sun, and it would surely have cost him his life if her were any lesser of a man, but the sighting of the city in the distance last night had emboldened him to continue on further.
Now he was drawing on the last of his strength, and his weary body was badly in need of water and rest, despite that his expression didn't show it. Arch stretched his arms out into the air and resecured the black bracers covering the top of his wrists and hands before turning back over his shoulder behind him
"COME ON YOU LAZY KITTEN!!!!!!!!" He cried out behind him to the enourmous white tiger slumping behind him. The enourmous beast's leaf green swept back armor glinted in the high dessert sun. Her protection consisted of two rounded, swept back shoulder pauldrons, an egg shaped breastplate, and two pairs of matching anklets, all of them bearing the floure de lis of the wood elves of kalimdor. Luckily her armor wiegheed nearly nothing despite its sturdiness, though the heat and the sun were beginning to take effect on the beast, laden with Arch's equipment and weapons which were strapped to her haunches and along her back.
"I said come ON or Im leaving wihout you!!" Ko no Tsuki knew he'd never leave without her, even though, she let fly a rattling roar into the sky in reproach, and picked up her speed into a graceful sloping gait to catch up to him. Arch patted the his loyal mount on her thick bullish neck and then resumed his march towards the city gates, they'd finally made it, and the rugged journey through the dessert only galvanized thier wills as they entered the beauty of the south.

Roland, being the normal human kid that he is, sat in a hospital bed, fuming. His neon blue arm cast and matching ankle cast were quite tightly sealed over his broken parts. He looked so pissed off. No one would be taking him seriously anytime now. And then, out of no where, a very small Roland popped up on Roland's shoulder, dressed in a black tuxedo. "Gah dammit, *****. You can't ******** let some ******** up ***** and some ********' white boy beat ya down mother ********! You gots to get back up!" Which summoned a second being, this one dressed in white shirt with white jeans. "You'd ought to know by now not to listen to him. He's not bright at all, obviously."
"*****'watchu say!?"
"I said you're not bright. I meant you're a moron."
"Mutha ******** which the two little Rolands beat the ******** out of each other.
"...Nurse? No more pain meds, please?"

* Arch was absolutely spellbound, staring wildly about in every single direction, trying to take in every single sight aruond him, he almost ran right into a merchant's stand, and after a garbled apology in arch's clumsy (( insert native tongue )), he hurried off before the man had second thoughts. Shaking his head, he knew he'd have to be more careful from now on, not everyone in his town would be as tolerant of his clumsy absentmindedness. The trek though the dessert had depleted thier very last stores of food and water, and both he and his mount were eager to replinish them. There was only soo many days you could be satisfied with grilled dessert rat, and Ko no Tsuki was most likely fed up with having to settle with the tiny morsels they'd survived on during the journey. Unfortunately, Arch had absolutely no money, and the hunger pangs biting at his stomach wouldn't simply go away. By the way his mount was groaning piteously, she was feeling the same. *
Come on girl, I'll find us something to eat soon, all you ever think aobut is your fur and your belly
*He tried to keep her with him with sarcastic calmness, but evne he knew that wouldn't fill one's stomach. This was when he looked up from the street, and noticed the entrance to the arena. A smile crawled across his face as he stared up, and then turned back to his mount. *
THAT's how we'll get something to eat * he cried out confidently and then reached over and began to untie a long thin object wrapped in a thick brown cloth strapped along the great white tiger's long sleek sloping back.*
