Tess smiled. "I'll take you to the shop, we can see if your brother is there." Smiling at Sam, she lead the way, walking along the side of the roadway.
Kenji followed, motioning for the rest of them to come along if they wished. "But wait in the tavern if you aren't coming along."

Sam followed Tess and Kenji.
"So, Tess. Do you live around here?"
Sam looked beack at Kenji. Wondering what the relationship between these two was. She gentily giggled and waited for Tess's response.

Zaan shared a look with Raina. She shrugged and nodded. They fell in step behind Kenji, Tess, and Sam. "We'll tag along for now." Raina told the group.

"Oh yea...Zaan. What was this relationship with Raina again? I forgot..."Sam winked at Zaan and Raina and continued walking.

Zaan sighed and ducked his head. Then he looked at Raina. Speaking slowly he said to her "... ...They know."
"They WHAT?" Raina turned on Zaan and glared. "They what? They know? Why?"
"Because...I trust them. Besides, what harm can it do?"
"What harm can it do?" Raina's voice was rising with each word. "I'll tell you..."
"No." Zaan cut her off. "No. You won't tell me. I'm almost 450 years old, Raina. I can make my own decisions." Then he turns back to Sam. "Sorry. You asked about our relationship? Raina's my sire...the one who made me what I am."

Kakashi figured that's what it had been and looked to see where the group was heading.

Sam saw Kakashi lagging behind.
"Come on, Kakashi! We're heading to the bakers."

Zaan and Raina followed behind, still arguing quietly. Every so often, one or the other of them would exclaim loudly, drawing stares from the people nearby.

Kakashi, finally catching up to Sam, began to laugh and replied "Well aren't Zaan and his "maker" cute..." He then began to laugh again when he turned around to see them arguing back and forth. He then ran up to Kenji and smacked him on the back "Aren't those two a riot?"

Zaan and Raina both stopped at that point and glared at Kakashi. "Excuse me?" Raina snarled. "The last person who called me that ended up with his," Raina jerked her thumb at Zaan, "dagger in their back."
Zaan nodded. "It's true."
Raina glowered a moment then turned on Zaan. "Don't think I'm done with you."
He threw his hands up in resignation. "Fine. ...Can't it wait?"

(What the hell is a palumba stick) Kakashi then glared back at the two thinking to himself 'I'd like to see them try to attack me... He then continued talking to Kenji like always.

(Palumbo stick: A wooden stick, about 3 feet long. A crew-person, usually a manager, uses it to keep unruly actors in line.)
