well, as you all know i call myself "Bi-sexual" but i consider myself a diffrent kinda of bi. Unlike the "fashion" bi-sexuals today, i simple follow the philosophy of, "fall in love with the person for who the are. Not for what is (or isn't) in their pants" But i don't like having to tell people i'm bi, because a lot of people, even some in the gay community, don't really accept bi-sexuals. A lot of the time we're seen as "wild sex mongers" when in reality, we just don't limit ourselves to societys standards.

Thank you for hearing my rantings. cool

Man, I totally know what you mean about that. I don't feel like I can be as "out" as gays and lesbians because I think "I'm bi" equates to "I'm a slut" for a lot of people. *sigh* I am also annoyed that you see gayness a lot in the media but not much lesbianism and hardly any bisexual stuff. And if there's anything trans, it's usually offensive. Still, we are all in this together and we need to make sure that we are all represented. And it's really great to have heterosexual supporters too! So, I'm glad this group is here on Gaia. heart

I completely agree. It's hard to try to get your point across when you say that you're bi. As in, that you're not in it just for the sex or that you're desperate or that you're just being an attentioin whore. It's simply that you happen to love both genders, or just people regardless of gender.

That's how I see it: loving people regardless of gender. It's all about what's inside that person: their personality.

Relating to, having, or open to sexual activity of many kinds.
She's talking about gender, not sexual activity. There's a difference.

Yeah but I thought pansexual was a person who liked others regardless of gender, not based on their actual sexual lives when it comes to fetishes. sweatdrop

Yeah, I looked up pansexual, too, and now I'm a bit foggy on it's meaning. I've been told it means loving people regardless of gender, but my dictionary definition matches the one that Kohki posted.

So... bisexual refers to your sexual orientation and pansexual refers to sexual activity?

like... i don't know... i usually consider myself bi... after my last relationship i've decided to just flow for highschool... not stick to just one idea... one religion, one sex... whatever. so i've kind of considered myself bi.
but the past few days i've found absolutely no attraction in any way to the female gender. at all... and just... guys are so appealing.
maybe i'm straight... maybe i'm bi... m aybe i'm gay.
whatever.
its just a feeling... a thought process more like.
i really dont know. i just feel... straight.
its fading though... i'm starting to feel normal again.
i was discussing a subject similar to this on my other forums... and they all came to the conclusion that it was just a phase for me... i think theres definitely the potential for everything i feel right now to just be a "phase" i guess... even though i don't personally believe it. i think i'm just confused.
but yesterday... i was alone with my bf and i just started crying and i didn't want to touch him... it might have been a reaction to events lately... i witness a friend of ours die and i broke up with my 6 month bf... we were really close...
but i felt... like i didn't want to be near him for other reasons.. i just didn't feel anything for him... it was creepy.
i dont know.
am i confused... stupid... stressed? or am i bi?
hmm. rolleyes

Well, I'm bi myself. ^^; Pretty sure of it, too, hehe.

But I kinda understand what you mean. I mean, some times boys look appealing and then some time girls look appealing, or they all just look appealing all together. I guess it all depends on your mood. sweatdrop

And, I've come to the conclusion, it's okay some days to not want to be with your significant other for a day or something. Some times you both need breathing room or just some time alone. It's perfectly normal (in my opinon) because we're all human.

But you're definitely NOT stupid. It probably does have a lot to do with what's going on around you, too. And I hope things clear up for you soon. *huggles x3* <333

thanks for that...
yeah like its really hard because the last person to be that close to me was my ex and i just automatically assume its him... but then theres eric... and everything i saw in dan i see in eric now... its creepy.
probably the fact that its only been 2 1/2 months.
and my friend who got hit... uugh.
after Dan and the way he acted when we broke up made me act and think very sexist towards men... for a while, i'm ok now... i think that right now everything with me is just up in the air, and i'm waiting for it all to settle.
but... if you've read my thread in life issues "boyfriends opinion"... you'll see what i'm going to say and why to eric next time he makes a comment about same sex relationships.
"lets get one thing straight, eric, i'm not." biggrin
cuz i know i'm not straight. but guys are just too... too... awesome... to loose. rolleyes
know what i'm sayin?
