Julianna's eyes flickered.
You've got to wake up, Julianna. Wake up...
Wake up...
There's something you have to do...
She tasted the metallic tang of blood in the air, heard crashing and roaring all around her. Steel clashed against steel, stone against stone, and screaming grated in her ears.
Battle.
Julianna sat bolt upright, eyes flashing fire. She looked around for the elf called Yousei, relieved to see her lying nearby, in pain but definetly alive. Humming a merry jig to herself, she felt her energy flowing back. The notes resonated in her very bones, energizing her, drawing mana from the earth and the enemy with every passing beat. She rose to her feet, drew her sword from its sheath, and reentered the battle refreshed and lightning fast.

Seg finally began to wrap up his spell as he shed his human disguise. His body growing in size and muscle till becoming covered in red and silver scales. Two great wings burst from his back as his face stretched forward and dagger like teeth appeared. Now a dragon, he stood slightly taller then Karusu.
"Grrr...now you're all finished!" Snorting out smoke from his nostrils he tore into the frightened guards. This was ending now, even if it meant blowing his cover to the rest. Still...it felt good to be himself again.

Witium turned to look at Seg in his dragon form, "Gah, more dragons..." He shealthed his swords and begin moving on, "Alright most of the guards here are dead, lets keep moving!."
Sagor looked over to the table and nodded confidently, "Yup...there's one nice table alright." He leaned over to ahve a closer look, "So uhh, what exactly am i looking at here Mr. head leader guy?"

"It's a tablet you oaf," Kraid muttered, glancing at the mythril. "So what is it?" He questioned along with Sagor, turning back to face the brother-leader.
Miles grumbled as the dragon revealed itself. "Not more of the beasts," He muttered. "You know!" He called to Seg, pointing a fractured finger towards him. "Working with you creatures goes against everything I was ever taught. I hope you're happy with yourselves."

Witium turned to Miles and smiled, "Really?, it matches what i was taught exactly." The elf laughed a little before moving down the corridor.
Sagor smirked at Kraid's mutter and picked off a piece of wood from his chair before flicking it at Kraid.

I've read it over and over, and if says that our futures will be sealed when we have killed the last of the female elves. You two know of this young elf, last of a tribe not seen in a decade."

"Working with you creatures goes against everything I was ever taught. I hope you're happy with yourselves." Seg finished the guards near him and began a walk forward, hearing Miles he glanced down and glared at him. "Shut up, I'm on your side you know. If you have issues we can settle them over swordplay later. For now...let's get out of here." Nodding he turned checking everyone's health, making an especially long one to Karusu before continuing.

Yousei opened her eyes and turned them to her wound, but she could not find it. It was no longer there! Suddenly, she felt her strength returning with a vengeance, and she got to her feet. Karasu stood happily by her side, and the two turned their attention to the others in their group. They were fighting hard, finishing off the last of the guards who were either too foolish or too determined to turn back and flee. Seeing her allies finish off the scores of soldiers gave Yousei new hope. Though before she found the chance to truly enjoy that hope, the image of Miles lying in the corner of the cold chamber, a bone dart protruding from his leg came into her mind. She turned to see him not far behind, supporting himself with his weapon. She ran to meet him and examined his leg for any lasting wounds. Karasu followed close behind, and sat patiently beside her, observing the two.
"Are you okay?" Yousei asked, speaking effortlessly for the first time in over an hour.
Karasu was focused on something quite different, as she stared at the two before her: Kraid. Questions ran through her mind.. Questions such as "Where had he gone?" and "What could he possibly be doing, at this moment, whilst everyone else was preoccupied with the battle?" Try as she might, she could not find answers to these questions. Meanwhile, the presence of another dragon brought back even more memories of her homeland and caused her senses to cloud...
(I underlined "finishing off the last of the guards", since I figured we should probably move on from that battle. There couldn't have been that many guards squeezing into a corridor.. Lol)

Julianna triumphantly ran her blade through the last guard who opposed her.
"Hmph." She let out a snort as she shook the guard's blood onto the floor in front of him.
"What next?" She called back to the bedraggled but victorious party. "A horde of zombies?"

"I hope not," replied Yousei, as she looked at the litter of corpses on the ground before them and cringed. She stood and carefully worked her way around them to Julianna, "I don't mean.. to sound rude..." she said, pausing to step over yet another guard, "But.. I don't believe we've been properly introduced." She smiled and held out her hand, "I'm Yousei."
(I really can't remember if we've introduced our characters. xD; Sorry if we already have. I'll edit it later, in that case).

"Julianna Jacqueme. Pleased to meet you." She took the profferred hand with a warm smile. "You got yourself in a bit of a pickle back there. Feeling alright now?"

Karasu sat beside her master and gave Julianna a pleasant smirk and nod.

"So, care to fill me in? I just got in here when we were attacked by these..." She nudged one of the corpses with her toe. "...Oafs."
EDIT:
(I had everything mixed up a bit, it's all quite confusing. What exactly do we 'know' at this point?)

"Well, there's quite a lot to explain.." Yousei replied, wondering where she should begin, "This is, as you may have already guessed, a hidden city... And there is a Cult of Fire Elementals that live here.. At least, I think so... They burned down all of the Elven villages of the Black Woode, and now, they've killed our friend, Camthalion..." She paused for a moment and looked to the ground in remorse, before continuing. "Now, we're hoping to avenge his death. Kraid? He's.. Well... He betrayed us. Again.." She suddenly remembered that he had disappeared from sight quite some time ago, and pondered curiously as to where he could have gone.
(EDIT: Lol. Nah, she's Yousei's dragon. And, um... I know that we know that the Cult is in this city, but we don't know that Sagor is resurrected and that Kraid is working for Brother-Leader).

"Ah. I see." Julianna stated, surveying the area. "It's obvious that these guards are no accident, probably sent by this fire cult, eh? Camthalion..." She trailed off. The name stirred something in her memory, but she couldn't quite put a finger on it. "Camthalion- Is his death worth avenging?" She turned to the elf girl, her almond eyes stony.
