" I see." That was all he said he did not move now just watching the cat and sending the feelings of love and comfort to Ziven and he just crossed his arms over his chest and waited for them to do there thing.

She was pleased with Fox, despite his body language not matching his feelings. "Thank you, Fox. Your kindness is greatly appreciated, even if I am .. damaged."

As soon as Ziven tried to touch Mask's mind, the feline hissed and jumped away. there was a jolt of telekinetic energy that lashed out at Ziven suddenly, accompanied by a message meant only for her. "You sicken me, little girl. You hurt Reevis and then play the distressed. You go to a man who uses the flesh of others to gain power and do not think twice. To think that any of us, humanoid or monster, ever respected you." The felines loyalty to Reevis was beyond that of most creatures, and after the message was sent the creature was gone.

Hearing what the cat said hurt her tremendously. She looked to the cat with deep sorrow. "..No.." she replied simply, unable to do anything before the feline was gone again. She was upset that she could not even defend herself - a common trait with Reeve and anyone associated with him. Hurt and upset above all else, she did not say anything more to Fox, merely wandered out of the kitchen, down the stairs and back outside.

Fox looked at this little seen that was going on and then he followed Ziven outside once again This time he was just walking with her but 3 or so steps behind her.

Moving slowly, she was clearly very tired as she returned home. Having walked the entire way from the bar to her house, it had been several hours before she had rested. Finally at home, she stopped. Still she did not want to be with anyone, she wanted to be alone until the pain massed. Instead, she moved to the trees and silently sat there.

Wandering through the woods, Brom was thinking and wondering a great many things. As he moved, he realized he felt Ziven had returned. But something .. something was not right. Returning to her house, he saw her outside. Slowly moving to her side, he realized she was deeply troubled. "Ziven .. my Little One .. what has happened?" he asked softly. Gently he placed his arms around her, holding her kindly, gladly waiting for her to speak.

When she felt his touch, she snapped to attention, looking to him with utter shock, as if it was a complete surprise that he would be there in that moment. Though she did not sound herself, she immediately spoke. "Ebthril .." she said softly, blue eyes of an animal curious and unblinking. Carefully she sent her thoughts to him, knowing he would accept this non verbal communication.

Brom could not believe his eyes. Watching her with deep concern, he accidentally let something slip. "Please, child, tell me what has happened? I have never seen you nor anyone I know in this state .. explain what happened, please." he pleaded kindly. In return, he nudged her consciousness with his own, sending peaceful thoughts of affection and encouragement.

She looked at him with an intense expression before she explained. Thought moving much faster than words, she showed him exactly what had happened with Reeve, how much love, how much pain, and everything she had seen when with him. As she did, tears formed and fell though no other sign of emotion shown on her face. Finally, she reached the events that had transpired earlier that day and the new pain she felt as a result of it. Riddled with confusion, pain and guilt, she wished she could find answers but expected none. Finally she turns away from him, too ashamed to look at him, to see him looking at her. Finally she asked of the one thing she had a question of his actions. "Never have you called me anything but my name or Little One .. Please Master .. what has changed? Have I .. failed you also?" she asked, thinking that to call her child was an insult given the culture of many in this place.

Gently he cupped her face with one hand, smiling kindly as he watched her. Always so observant. The memories were welcome, refreshing, though he felt the same love and pain as she had. Now she had someone to share this with, he was glad to be the one to share with her. Standing, he offered a hand up and when she stood, he embraced her lovingly, letting her feel his affection for her. "I realize this is an awkward time to confess a truth of your life .. yet I feel there has been no more of an appropriate time for you to know such a thing. It has been your quest for many years to know of your past, your family, your history. I have found the answer you seek. After wishing it for many years, I have realized and then traveled to discover that my realizations were true .. you are my daughter, Ziven. My only regret in knowing this fact is that I waited until you had grown to seek the truth that I have now found." he loosened his embrace and looked to her with an expression of complete sorrow and regret. "Can you ever forgive me?"

Rising as her master did, she looked to him for a brief moment before feeling his arms around her. As usual, she did not respond .. at least not immediately. With his words came understanding and with this came a longing and relief that she never though possible. She too had wished he were kin and to find that he was ... left nothing but joy in her heart. Finally she clung to him as he held her, smiling for the first time in several days. "Of course, Master. My love for you has always been present, even we never expressed its existence."

Holding her with a greater warmth, he sent to her strong feelings of gratitude, love and appreciation for what a fine person she was. "Just as I .. nay, we have always loved you, my child. In you lies a strength I could never know. The same rests within my father .. your grandfather, I believe that may be where you gain this." he answered, kissing the top of her head fondly. So long had he wished he could do this but as a master to a student, it just would not have been proper.

She smiled brightly, her eyes lightening though their shap remained the same. "I am very pleased to hear so .. father." she hesitated, it felt odd to refer to him as father yet somehow pleasing.
On the horizon, she felt company traveling to them. "Company approaches .. that of the friendly sort." she said with cheer.

The trio had seperated from each other and now flew abreast , keeping in tight formation as they followed Feldspar to Ziven's residence.
