Start the healing process as soon as possible, Nina thought. I... wouldn't be the least bit surprised if they lashed at me like I did to them... But I know that nothing could possibly make me feel worse than I do now. It would be better to take all of the bad at the same time so that I could get over it all at once...
Nina approached the doors, and opened them, walking into the Pokemon Center. She stood at the doorway and looked to her friends.
"...Hi."

Kilik looked up when the door opened. To his surprise, Nina was standing in the doorway. The rain seemed to mat down her hair. The boy looked away. Speak of the devil, he thought. He then looked back at her. "Hello," he said simply.

Ryka was about to fall asleep on the table, when the sliding sound of the cwenter doors opening awoke her. Cocoa cup still in her hand, she muttered, "Wha.. what?" She looked over at Jaeshan and blushed a bit. "..Oops, sorry. Kinda fell asleep.." She explained, laughing a bit.

"Uhm..." Nina said quietly, "I know that... neither one of you probably wants to see me at this time." She quickly flung her matted hair behind her shoulders, annoyed at it. A moment later she adjusted the collar of her outfit. "But... I wanted you both to know that words can't even begin to scratch the surface of how badly I feel."

Kilik stood up slowly, his joints cracking. He looked at her. His teeth clenched and his hands shook somewhat. "Yeah?" he laughed weakly, approaching her. He was an inch from her before he spoke again. "What you said to me out there," he nodded his head to the front of the center, "really broke my heart. You broke my heart, Nina. Thanks for that."

"And you think that watching my sister die, literally in front of me, didn't break my heart too?" Nina shot back. She bit her tongue, and calmed down. "Look," she said, in a bit of a tamer voice, "I didn't ask to have a complete personality flip. I didn't ask to murder someone, place my friends in extreme peril, and hurt any of them." She let out a quick sigh, and looked over to Mike for a moment. "I just... didn't... ask for this..."

Kilik laughed weakly again, then he put his fist softly against the wall. "Nina...I felt before then that we had something. I put my own life at risk for you," he stared at the floor, "And then...it felt as if you didn't care. My entire world came crashing down after that moment." He bit his lower lip, "I felt that you didn't..." he broke off, unable to continue with his words.

"Everybody seems to be saving my butt in one way or another," Nina said, with slight sarcasm in her voice. "You saved me from being killed, Sabrina saved me from being killed, Mike saved me from the Rockets AND from Giovanni..." She shook her head slowly and chuckled.
"Maybe... I'm the problem," she said quietly, but loud enough for Mike to hear as well. "Whenever I'm around anyone, I always seem to bring chaos..."

The cool waters rushed in about him, ...Of bad luck...Venerax struggled to be free of the bramble-berry bush he was tangled within. This little trip really wasn't going all that well.
Oh, this is not working out, He thought as struggled with the bush. His shirt was just too tangled in the bush he was never going to get himself out of this pool. Enough is enough, I'm going to drown.
He gave a good tug upon one of the bramble bushes tugging at least his arm free. He then reached for his pokeballs. There was only two, but he knew which one he needed.
In a bright flash, the shimmering porygon, Calculus, appeared near by his struggling trainer. He rotated his head 360 degrees computing his surroundings. Water terrain He loaded one of his battle programs converting to the enviroment about him, his polygram body shifting so he had propellers of sorts. With a whirl the newly formed propellers pushed Calculus quickly at Venerax and the bush that held him. The tackle attack broke apart in the single blow.
Venerax quickly grabbed ahold of Calculus, very glad to be free. He motioned to the surface to Calculus, looking forward to a breath of fresh air.

"I wasn't to impressed with your lack of gratitude either Nina." Mike said as he rolled over softly, trying not to disturb Felsic's rest. "Now if you wouldn't mind, I'd like a little sleep. It's tireing helping out a friend who just moments ago ripped into you like a hungry Scyther." He grunted, closing his eyes.

Kilik shook his head, grasping onto her shoulders. "No, Nina!" he said, "Team Rocket wouldn't mess with us had it not been for me! I joined them, it's me that they're after. They're only going after you because you're the closest one to me!" He looked at her, holding back the tears he felt behind his eyes.
"Team Rocket only wants me, Nina. And they'll stop at nothing to do it," he whispered. Not once did he break his look away from her.

Finally Dante came to the spot where he had first spotted the battle going on and looked around. "Kenny do you know where those two battling trainer's are?" He asked curiosly. The small ghost pokemon nodded his head and waved his arm's around some saying things in his cute muffled way. Dante just laughed slightly at the small pokemon. "All right all right, show me where they are ok? It might be fun to watch a battle instead of be in one for once." He said as he followed the small ghost pokemon a little way's until he came across the battle. There were five pokemon out but one didn't seem to be battling.

Nina looked down at the floor. "I deserved that, Mike," she said quietly. She listened to what Kilik said, and looked up, but she didn't respond immediately.
"I don't believe that Team Rocket would have left us alone entirely," she said. "We would have crossed paths with them in Saffron City anyway... So, don't blame yourself for this."

The boy shook his head. "I know that...but it would have been safer had I not joined in the first place." He took her hands in his and stared at them, "I know that some things that I've done...you're not proud of. But we've made ammends before. And if we could just..." he gulped down the lump in his throat, keeping his voice low so that Mike could sleep, "go on with our lives together, then...It'd be for the best."

"Plus, I would have stirred up trouble eventually, so don't even try to pin my soon to be attempted assasination on yourself. People like that just need to know that they cannot control everyone." Mike spoke half mumble, it sounded like he had said some of that before.
