"Uh...ok maybe next time..." Long said as he stopped witht he head twisting. He looked over at Rin, "You're welcome..." Long said as he plopped himself in an empty space while sitting cross-legged like a pow-wow indian. Long then placed his arm up as he supported his chin under him.
"A month? It looks like you have settle in already..." Long spoke as he looked about the room one more time as he then hopped with his hands and then crouched over to feel the floor with one hand as he stroked it gently.
"So... What do you think of my methods so far?..." Long said as he looked up from the floor to Rin. He hasn't asked this sort of question which explained why Long had such a difficulty swallowing it down and on top of that speaking like it was something he was forbidden to say.

"How long does it normally take for one to settle in?" Rin asked, glancing around. It hadn't taken her very long. She'd basically arrived, dumped off her things, and then began exploring the campus. "Oh," she added suddenly. "I was given a room at the temple." She shifted slightly in place, settling her gaze upon him again after a moment.
"Your methods? she repeated, head tilting very slightly to one side. "They're... different, but that may be why I'm more willing to try. Though, I'll admit, sometimes I have no idea what you're trying to do." He was a little confusing. Like how he'd started the food fight and randomly asked her questions during it. He had explained himself afterwards though, so she didn't mind all that much.
She took a step further into the room, towards a chair, but then stopped as she remembered why they'd come here. "I need a shower," she spoke up. "Just a quick one. Will you be waiting here?" She sounded slightly curious, as she'd never really had anyone over either. She imagined it'd be awkward for him to sit around while she took a shower, but she wasn't sure what else he could do.

"I dunno how long it takes, but it looks like it's been settled in..." Long said as he then glanced back at Rin after playing about with the floor as he looked up. Rin went to a temple...Long was rather surprised, and indeed employed into the moment as he thrn stood up and looked out the window again. Seeing that Byakko and Genbu disappeared, Long smiled.
"...Yea, well they are plans that aren't really planned out, they are more like 10 minute plans...Just made as they escalate into something bigger.." Long confessed as he twiddled with his fingers, only this time he was playing with them, "To be honest with you, you're the first to really stick to my style, most people have quit after the first hour and claim my methods... to be unethical and rather insane..." Long said as he then looked at Rin's kitchen.
"A person is evergrowing, until they stick to a style of life and adapt to a certain way of thought...then the person stops growing..." Long said as he then turned his attention to Rin's question, "As long as you have something in the fridge...then I don't care how long I have to wait," Long said as he then hopped on the couch and sat like a monk again.

Rin shrugged slightly, glancing around once more before watching Long again head to the window. She tried to look out past him, but didn't see anything worth noting, so she shifted her gaze back to him again instead.
"Oh," she blinked, looking slightly surprised. But when she thought about it, that made sense. His methods were rather odd, so she could easily see why someone would call them insane. Though, she thought it was pretty interesting. She didn't know what to expect, and that may be why she was willing to put up with it.
"Ever growing?" she echoed, hesitating a second before shifting her gaze to the fridge. She let a very faint smile tug at the corner of her lips as she nodded her head. "There's food," she assured him, and then turned to head towards the bathroom. "I won't be long." And then she disappeared down the hall and into the room, gathering together a towel, clothing, and soap for her shower.

"Alright..." Long said as he stood up and walked over to the fridge. He then turned look at the fridge and opened it. He looked inside and pulled out a couple of things for himself to put together. He just started off with some sandwiches and began putting things together.
He only sighed as he pulled out a chair and sat down eating, apparently he had been eating the sanwich, but he didn't even bite into it that much yet either. He only stared out the window, with only a few thoughts on his mind. But apparently he was broken out of thought...
A sudden tap at the window by Byakko had Long surprised. Byakko tapped on the window so that Rin would not hear it, but telling Long to open the window.Long hesitated before walking to the window to open it as he let Byakko say what he had to say.
"Long time, no see Azure Dragon..." Byakko spoke as he was hanging on the wall by the window. Byakko was using his hands to grip onto the wall.
Long frowned entirely at the mere mention of that name as he then pushed Byakko's head as Byakko couldn't really handle Long's strength in this position as Byakko fell.
"WHAT THE HELL BASAHARA!?" Byakko yelled as he fell into the shrubbery.
Long knew that Byakko wouldn't really die from that fall, he knew something was up now. Long only smirked at the mere thought, of what was going to happen. Long then walked back to his seat and quietly ate finishing his sandwich.

It took Rin maybe ten minutes for her to finish her shower. She ran her hands through her hair a couple times, to make sure there was no more pasta or anything trapped inside, and then shut off the water. She stepped out and dried herself off, then quickly got dressed as well.
Instead of a full dress, she was now wearing a black skirt, layered so it puffed out just slightly, which came right to her knees where it then appeared to be shredded slightly around the base. She next pulled on a fitted black t-shirt with a faded skull and crossbones slanted across the whole front, and a pair of black and white striped socks that came to her knees. The shirt's neck came almost to the base of her neck, to make sure the scar wouldn't show. Her violet hair was left down around her shoulders, still slightly damp.
Gloves left behind, and boots not currently upon her feet, she walked down the hall and back towards the kitchen. She had, of course, managed to miss what had just gone on, and arrived in time to see Long eating a sandwhich. She was about to ask how he could still be hungry, when she remembered that their meal had been interrupted back at the cafeteria. But still... He did manage to eat a lot.
She shifted slightly in place, having paused by the doorway. "I'm done," she said suddenly, stating the obvious.

"Reallly? You take alot faster than most girls, but then again, that's a nice thing..." Long said as he scarfed teh rest of the sanwich down and tossed the paper plate out the window like a frisbee. He was apparently always hungry do to his very high metabolism. He wiped the crumbs with his sleeve and drank down the paper cup full of milk as he tossed it in the trashcan.
As long sat up and turned around to see Rin looking differently, she now according to him looked like a punk lolita in contrast to her gothic lolita from before. Her hair was down and now she caught his attention more than ever. Long was rather used to sticking to one style of clothing his entire life without having to change it, but his style was almost like a bunch of black bandages all over his body accompanied with raven feathers at his neck and shoulders. Not to mention the belt around his waist was pure silver in color and held him down alot.
"You look different....Nice shirt..." Long spoking sounding really surprised.. As he walked over to where Rin was standing as he opened the door. Once he opened the door, he turned to Rin and politely asked, "Have you always worn that one piece dress?" Long said as he leaned back from the door showing only his head.

Ryan got up and looked around then slowly rubbed his eyes. He walked out of his dorm and locked the door. (Short post....Writers block)

[Ugh, sorry. Today is basketball game, then go out to eat day. I've reached the go out to eat stage. >.>]
Rin stared at him for a second before she realized he was carrying on their conversation from earlier. Once she'd figured it out, she nodded her head in agreement. "I guess so," she shrugged. She looked about to say something more, when he suddenly tossed the plate through the window. She blinked, watching it soar out of sight, and then glance back to him with a slight frown. Well, at least he threw away the cup.
At his comment, she glanced down at herself and then back to him. "Eh, thank you," she mumbled, then shrugged her shoulders again. "That one and others similiar," she admitted. She liked to switch between dresses and skirts, with the occassional pair of pants. Though, that was rather rare. She only wore them if she knew she was doing something that a dress or skirt weren't suited for, and that didn't happen very often. Or at least, she didn't get a warning when it did.
"Do you have an idea of what to do now?" she asked, curiousity leaking through into her tone. He had caught her interest, and she actually wanted to know what he was thinking. Usually she just brushed everyone off and went on her own way.

((its kool)) "Your very welcome," Long said as he looked back at Rin. He looked at rin and was about to answer her response about her dressing, but then heard her ask what they were to do next.
He was rather surprised to see Rin eager. He only looked between here and the way out and then back at the training facility. He only smiled and spoke, "I challenge you to a race from here to the training facility..." Long said as he flipped forward landing on his hands and began stretching his legs as they dangled about in the air.
"There are no rules here, you can do whatever you want to win, pushing the other, taking shortcuts, using your powers...And that means very well in harming one another..and if you don't think you can hurt me, just think of someone you hate and put their head on mine..." Long said as he then looked at the door and the distance between the two and the way to the door. He stopped signaling that this was the starting line.
"Do your stretching...You know why you should?" Long said as he stopped breifly. He said as he knew very well Rin would answer what she might have answered before.

Rin's head tilted slightly to one side as she listened to his suggestion. "A race?" she blinked, then glanced out the window again. A moment later, her turquoise eyes returned to Long as she pointed a finger towards herself. "But I can't use any powers without finding a spirit, and if I do it too often, then I get dizzy like I was earler." She frowned, looking out the window once more before fully focusing upon him.
She kept glancing out to see if there were any spirits in sight. She saw a few but couldn't tell what their abilities were just by looking. She shifted slightly in place and then walked towards him, locking the door ahead of time so it'd lock itself as soon as it was closed. If they truely were racing, she wouldn't have time to lock it after herself.
Someone I hate? she thought to herself, eyes still upon Long. Several images immediately flooded her mind, the most recent being the squid guy with the horns who she'd been looking for earlier. She was still mad at him for just disappearing even after she'd decided she'd go ahead and heal him, despite how drained she'd feel after. Ungreatful little...
She allowed her thoughts to trail off, and instead refocused upon Long. She blinked and shook her head. "Why..?" Though, in her head she was recalling how swiftly he'd brought himself and her out from under the food that'd been dumped over them. Reminding herself of that, she was even more certain she couldn't beat him in a race, unless she found a spirit who specialized in speed. Though, she still hadn't had a proper rest, so if she tried integrating with a spirit now, as soon as she released it, she'd most likely collapse.

"One you can always deceive your enemies with the classic deceptive tricks as always..." Long said as he flipped over and started a small bolt towards the door.
"And two, like I said no rules, anything goes!...What would you do if I am cheating already like this already? Give me your answer when you catch up!" Long said as he didn't hesitate to use his strength to allow him to slam against the door taking it down with pieces of the wall as he headed down the road. Long was making this pretty difficult to understand, no rules. This was a new lesson, Long would let Rin try to obsorb what she is currently doing like before and applying it later on.
"You better catch up...If you lose, you'll have to play the penalty game!!" Long shouted as he then looked as he was heading to the Dormitory parks.

Rin blinked, watching him approach the door as well. She shifted slightly as she listened to him, dropping the key back into a concealed pocket on her skirt as she did so. Already cheating? she thought, a frown shadowing her face yet again as she stared.
Her eyes widened considerably when he charged forward, racing down the hall, and then tearing the door right down, along with pieces of the actual wall. For a moment she stood shocked, but then she picked up a piece of debris and threw it after him as hard as she could. "What the hell are you doing?!" she screamed, and a second later had darted after him, the door of her own room slamming shut and locking itself.
Penalty game? she added to herself, and picked up her pace just slightly. She had completely forgotten to put on her shoes, so she was simply chasing after him in her striped socks, and probably wouldn't realize it any time soon.

((ooh, he knocked down the front door of the building not your dorm door lol))
"Participating in the race!" Long called back as he ran down the road. He didn't see that Rin threw a piece of debris at him. Moving his head slightly it went past him. But for that matter, Long didn't see that the hunk of debris landing in front of him as he tripped and landed face first into the pavement. WHAM was all that was heard as Long slammed his face into the pavement but leaving a very fine indent of his face in place as he muffled some words.
"Dffmit...Y...Shuva...seef...fact comeen..." Long spoke as if his voice was muffled. The translation was 'Dammit...I should've seen that coming' Long did manage to push himself slgihtly as he wiped the dusted cement and chunks of debris of his face.
"I really hate karma...." Long said as he was carefully taking his time getting up. That fall must have really hurt if someone with Long's inertia along with his body strength would cause such a indenture on the cement.

[Oh. Well.... >>;; -secretly edits post a bit-]
Rin's eyes widened as she saw it actually hindered him, despite it missing. Instead of being hit, he'd managed to trip over it, and was sent skidding across the ground. She was about to slow down and make sure he was ok, when she remembered it was a race, and he had said anything goes. Why should she feel bad? Besides, he was already getting back up, though it was a little slowly.
Without a word, and not even looking at him, she rushed right past in her socks, knowing that if she did look, she would end up stopping. She was moving almost silently now that her boots weren't thunking against the ground with each step. Her face had shifted from anger, to worry, and now had another small smile tugging at the corners of her lips. If she thought about it, that was kind of funny. He'd left an actual indent in the ground! Or at least, it was funny to her.
