Hotari let out a half-nervous little giggle and offered her hand to the other. Oh, that's alright. It just startled me. Her cheeks flushed with heat, as her statement was only half true. She was startled, sure, but she half thought the girl was Jordiar's significant other...Which would have made her a little sad, as she was becoming quiet fond of the boy. My name is Hotari, she offered, bowing her head to Janei before looking to Jordiar and smiling brightly, amused by his reaction to his half-sister's arrival. Protective half siblings make me giggle...I don't have any of those, despite the volume of halfsiblings I have.

Janei shook her hand with a firm grip and a grin. "Nice to meet you! Are you one of his friends here? You seem like a nice person." She sighed, ruffling Jordiar's hair. "At least, I don't sense anything that could hurt our little Jordiar at the moment, unless your talented at hiding your true intentions. Or if I really am just weak in this world." She shrugged.
Jordiar was red, trying to smooth down his hair slightly, having sort of waved her hands away, muttering something not in english.

Hotari blinked a moment at Janei, a little confused by the girl, to be honest. Anou...I don't want to hurt Jordi...I'm terribly fond of him, actually. She smiled and tilted her head as she examined the boy's flushed features, and giggled softly before shifting in her seat to sling one leg over the other, wrapping her arms loosely around herself. Are you an empath? She hadn't run into a lot of those in this place, and if Janei was indeed an empath, it'd bring her a sense of comfort...In Hotari's strange little mind.

Janei giggled. "I'm glad to hear it!" She patted Jordiar's head, smiling. "And to a certain point, yes. Though, I'm a little off. I think my powers need to adjust to this world. My mother is the one with those powers. She was a mermaid!" She laughed. "A mermaid and a river spirit, what a match eh?"
"Janei! You know you're not supposed to tell anyone about us!" Jordiar said, flailing his arms a little in her direction.
"You've already told her some. I can sense it." Janei tapped the end of his nose with a finger, and grinned, then looked at Hotari. "And besides, you seem like a good person. I don't sense that you'll use any of that information for malicious acts."

Actually, a mermaid and a riverspirit makes sense. Hotari nodded in agreement with herself before sort of shrugging. My mother's mother is...Half Light Goddess, a quarter water nymp, and a quarter sky pixie. My great grandmother, my mom's mom's mom, was the Pixie-Nymph. She giggled and nodded again, always finding interest in bloodlines. When my gramma and my grampa had my mom and her siblings, the pixie-nymph warped into a sort of siren mix, as my grampa is full Light God. My dad is too...So I am, for the most part, but I do have a little bit of siren in me. She blushed deeply and hoped that the two knew what those were, and she wouldn't have to explain anything to them. She was, however, more than willing to compare special abilities, as that was always something she liked doing. You didn't tell me anything that fun, Jordi...she giggled after a moment, tsking softly.

"Amazing!" Janei said, pulling up a chair and turning it around backwards before sitting. "Much more wide based than my home. Most people there marry from the same...species?" She tapped her chin, at a lost for any other words. "Things from the same element, so to speak. Though, poor Jordi almost had to marry a fire spirit....Urgh." Janei shook her head. "And of course he didn't! He's so concerned dad will make him come back if he says anything at all! As if." She suddenly reached over to Jordiar, pinching his cheeks. "Don't even finish that little curse, you silly."
Jordiar blushed, pulling away. "I wasn't doing anything."
Janei just smiled. "I'm sure you weren't. So then, Hotari right? There is deffinately more to you than meets the eye." She leaned on one hand, tilting her head and adjusting her hat. "Does all that mgic in your blood make you some sort of a demi goddess, or just powerful?"

Sunray Tristram Leilani couldn't help but feel embarrassed now. She wasn't normally so wimpy. In the sea, she could fight off sharks with ease. "It's probably best if I just watch you. I don't seem to be good at any of these games." Don't worry, I'll find a game you can enjoy, Tsukasu laughed, leading her towards the section that carried interactive games. He lead her to Whack-a-weasel, the game where you hold the light hammer and hit the weasels that pop out of the holes on the head. Here, this'll be good, watch me play once first, he said, putting tokens in. As the fake animals began to pop out, he'd hit them on the head.

Leilani followed him, her head tilting curiously when they approached the whack-a-weasel game. She was surprised to see Tsukasu hit little animals on the head when they popped up but she had to remind herself that they weren't real. "It does seem pretty easy."

Hotari blushed faintly under Janei's interest in her title, and she shrugged a shoulder. My mom is the last living goddess of life, so she's pretty powerful. And my dad...He's just one of the higher ranking light gods. I'm not sure what I'm considered, but I'm pretty powerful, so my father boasts. She giggled softly and sipped from her drink, shrugging again. Do you have powers or special abilities?

"It certainly sounds that way!" Janei smiled, then laughed a little. "I'm not very powerful. Just empathy. I can breath underwater though. I can't give myself a fishy tail though. Not on command." She sighed. "Not until I'm older and more powerful. That's why I rarely get to be around my mother. Though, sunbathing is always fun. But oh, Jordiar is much more powerful than me!" She grinned, looking over at Jordiar.
"I am not..." Jordiar said, trying to hide his face in his arms.
"He's shy." Janei patted his head. "But fine, I'll tell you. At least, as much as I'm allowed." She smiled, playing with a lock of Jordiar's hair. "Most of Jordiar's powers have to do with water. Dissapearing into it, turning himself into, stuff like that. Nymph powers." Janei nodded.

Hotari looked between the two a moment before she squeaked and wiggled excitedly. Oh, Jordi! Can you make yourself disappear but have it look like rain washed you away? She knew she wasn't good at trying to portray mental images, but she hoped the two would be able to picture what she meant. My brother can do that! He gets shy sometimes, or flustered, and rather than just walk away, he has a tendency to sort of rain away...It's the neatest thing!!

"I don't know...I've never tried..." Jordiar shifted in his chair a little, shyly, still blushing. "My father always told me to never use my powers...Nymphs are apparently unstable."
"Jordiar's the baby in the family." Janei said, sticking out her tounge. "Daddy's secret favorite boy. Don't tell anyone." She pressed a finger to her lips, and winked.
Jordiar just blushed again.

It is very easy, Tsukasu said, letting himself get a game over, collecting the tickets the game spat out. He handed the hammer to Leilani with a smile, putting more tokens in the game as he stood aside.

That's silly, Jordi! If you don't use your powers, how are you supposed to expand them and master them and grow with them? She didn't really understand the fact that other magical families had their own little sets of rules, nor did she understand that her words may seem a little harsh. She tsked and shook her head some at the siblings. I think you should expand your powers! Explore them and see what you can do. Nymphs are stable, so long as their elemental source is near...At least, that's what my great grandma says. She nodded firmly, rather an 'I'm right so don't test me!' gesture before giggling and sipping from her drink, pausing before squeaking. Oh! Janei, would you like a snack? She blushed faintly and gestured to the snackbar nearby shyly.

"I do too use my powers....Just....not often...Always behind my dad's back. But he always got mad..." Jordiar shook his head, then shifted slightly. "I mean, I know how to use my powers, just...not very well."
"At least you have powers." Janei said, sticking out her tongue at him. She sighed, then pat Jordiar on the head, and pulled back her hand, shaking it. "Ow! That hurt!"
Jordiar just shrugged.
Janei continued to shake her hand in the air, looking at her fingers. "He burned me," she explained breifly, then grinned. "And no thanks, I'm fine."
