Lt_Brookman Though alot of people here will call me an idiot, question my sexual prefences and bloodlines when bringing up Forge World. stare If anyone did that to me I would kick them in the balls. Forgeworld has some excellent products. Some of which I would love to buy if I had the money.

Funny thing is that there alot of FW-phobes around here that are utterly crapping their pants when you start about Forge World. Especially when you say FW and GT in the same line. But I know what it's all about, they dread the idea of a Executioner (Super plasma cannon!) tank or a Destroyer (With super anti-tank snipe laser cannon thing) on the table top, as they are effective and useful. But I see a conspiracy in almost anything when people fling anti-guard banter this way. I need to take tose pills again...
Anyway, soemthing more IG this time, my 2.000 points army list I'm working on. This is the final list with all but two mini's missing. I've had several Imperial Guard experts pour over the list and make remarks on them, which thankfully left my dignity amongst other things intact and came with this, a balanced list which is more or less one big pile of shooty death with some mobile elements. The chaps agreed on this being a perfect list and I am happy.
But in the end would most likely be called a cheese fest by others as it contains a high proportion of men, heavy weapons and two uber-cheesy tanks that would surely do alot of damage. (Fun fact: Imperial Guard may not assault, for they are "weak". Imperial Guard may only defend, as it "fits" their strategy. And now it seems that the Imperial Guard may also not take a high proportion of weapons as it is damn "uncivilized" and beardy.)

Everyone Else: I *did not* say Catachan Deathworld Veterans are illegal. I said that Catachan Deathworld Veteran Units in Nob-Deathworld Veteran Units are illegal. It's in the PDF and hardcopy codex. However, if you want to use Catachan Deathworld Veteran Units in a vanilla IG army, you are reccomended to use the Catachan Doctrines.

Eh why not, I don't see any harm in that. Not like I'm gonna sue your a** with my own copyrights. The only weak point in the list really is the single Sentinel. And other IG commanders pointed out that mortars and sniper rifles are not as effective as they look. They suggest Ratlings. I said no, for I am an anti-abhuman!

I love IG mortars! heart I blew the crap outta my Space Wolves friend numerous times. I have never felt a Blood Claw rush because of my mortars.

I want a destroyer and a baneblade.. a valkyrie for my strom troopers would be nifty, too.
It seems i love my storm troopers too much. I'm trying to get a valkyrie and some chimeras for them, and soley for my storm troopers.. >_>

About snipers: I use humans with sniper rifles and the stats of Ratlings, and ask if I can use 'em. When the opponet asks why, I say " I don't like the Ratling models."

What reason is there for hating the Ratling models? I mean I took one look at them and I just fell in love. The are hobbits with guns. How could you not love having 10 hobbits with sniper rifles on the battlefield?

I mean.. what the ******** did he do? He can't even reach a marine's crotch.
