Arashi laughed softly, part of it being nervous laughter. Well, they put words on paper in book form, she started, geturing to what the other girl was holding, to portray stories, give information, and the likes, she said, trying her best to explain. The last thing she wanted was to make Annalynna think she was stupid.

Annalynna turned a page, stroking the book curiously. "It seems a very slow way to share information,"she murmured softly. Giggling, she looked up at Arashi, "My people are telepathic," she explained with a smile. "Stories are shared, just not in this fashion."

Arashi smiled to Annalynna, leaning towards her just a little. Where are you from? she asked. She had never seen someone quite like her before. My people communicate many different ways, mostly through spoken word, or as you said, telepathy, she said with an assured nod.

Annalynna smiled back, tilting her head slightly.My people have never used a written language. Memories are shared and passed on. Her curious fingers glided over the smooth paper. She glanced up at Arashi, her eyes dancing. I am from...home she teased with a wink.

I assumed that, Arashi said with a soft giggle as she pulled the book which was previously tucked under her arm and put it on the table. She looked to Annalynna, smiling brightly. Well, what is your race? she asked.

I'm from a different realm, ruled by the keeper of the angels and the keeper of the elements, Arashi said, blushing softly. But you keep changing the subject, miss, she said with a kind smile.

Giggling, Annalynna smiled back.I suppose I do, dont I? I'm also from another realm...I dont know anything about rulers though. The elders make the big decisions in my tribe.

Arashi smiled softly, clasping her hands together in her lap. That sounds different, she said. What is it like in your home realm?

Annalynna sighed wistfully, fluttering her wings. "It's cold, and beautiful. When the elders hold council everyone is called to the meeting place, even the wee ones."

Are you from an ice realm? Arashi asked, smiling softly as she listened. It sounded much less hectic in that realm than in her own.

Arashi blushed softly, sinking in her chair as she felt that the other girl might be mocking her. She laughed and shrugged, shaking her head some. My home is hectic. We live in a great castle, there are over a hundred of us in the family. The realm is much like this, except there aren't very many restrictions with magic, and very little hatred is tolerated. It's wonderful, actually. I miss it quite a lot, but I also love it here very much.

Annalynna's eyes widened in awe. "Over a hundred in one home? My whole tribe only numbers 37. My tribe lives in the mountains in the most beautiful caves...they were formed by the rock shapers. Magic is a source of joy and beauty in my world."
