mortis hung his head. "fair enough holly, fair enough. if you dont want to tell me then i wont ask anymore. and to answer your question, i wish to know so much because i prefer to know who that i defend. and dont get me wrong on that statement, i have confidence that you can take care of yourself but....." *sighs* "never mind. i already got in trouble for this once" mortis explained.

Logan set me down, leaning me against a gravestone. "Not awake yet, huh?" He smacked me upside the head. I groaned and opened my eyes. "Logan..why must you torment me? It was your idea to turn me into a lycan in the first place. Its not my fault if it didn't turn out like you wanted." I said quietly. He backhanded me across the face and I hit the ground, coughing up blood. "You shut up! All that wasted effort and you turn out to be a sympathizer with vampires. You were the biggest waste I have ever had!" He yelled and hit me again. "*cough* Don't blame me if i'm too stubborn to listen to you. That was what you liked in me, wasn't it?" I knew I was just making him more mad, but if I was going to die, then I might as well do something before then. Logan punched me in the stomach and I doubled up on the ground. "I will kill you and then I will hunt down your little girlfriend and kill her as well. New York will learn to fear my name! Both immortals and mortals!!" Monologging...god I hate that. "Grandious plans you have there. I really doubt they will work the way you want though. Things never do turn out that way." I laughed. Logan glared at me and proceeded to pummel me. "I told you to shut up!!!" I could feel the pain and yet I couldn't. I had reached the point where I knew I was going to die and I accepted it. If only I could see your face one last time...Fate...

(You can hear that telepathically if you want, fate, and try and rescue me. I'm just going to let you know that you won't win until the elders get here. K?)

A figure appeared outside the graveyard gates. Silently, she entered. As the sun turned the sky dusky, she dodged around headstones and dead trees.
Perking her ears, she heard feuding. Coming closer to the noise, she sensed Silver and the other. Her scar began to throb. "No..not now." She clenched her fist. Continuing to duck as she might, Fate reached the tree beneath which Marishka and she had once conversed beneath. From there, she saw them. Logan continually beat upon her beloved. Fate fumed, her eyes swirling angrilly.
Clenching both fists tightly now, her nails dug in and drew blood. She didn't notice. She didn't want to make any attempts right now. Wait just a while longer.. she encouraged herself. Fate continued the silence, remaining still.
If she were to let Silver know she were here now, he might expose her. Not being able to take this risk, Fate concentrated with her eyes open. Focusing hard, she lowered her aura's tracability. Closing her eyes once, she swallowed hard, forcing it to its lowest capacity. When she opened her eyes again, she kept them to slits.

Jaden clawed along the ground quitely.
"Yes we are here but I still have the question: am I here because Mortis is asking for my help or is Fate?"

Fate's first instinct was to scream. However, she knew always acting on firsts was a sign of weakness. Inhaling deeply, she growled gently into Mortis' hand.
As Jaden arrived, her eyes bulged. When he asked, she shyly pointed in the direction of Silver.
By the time Mortis released her, she was prepared to bite him. Glancing at the two, she tapped her lips, whispering. "Thanks for coming..I..erm..I'm not sure what to say, at this point." The moment Mortis had grabbed her, Fate's guard was let down, and her aura could be sensed again. However, in all the commotion of the two, she forgot.
Spontaniously, she glared in Mortis' direction. Do not do that again unless it's a diar emergency, do you hear me? You may not be so lucky as to having all your fingers when you let go, next time.

Fate's jaw dropped. What the hell does it LOOK like has been happening?! *curse* He..You could hear that..Augh! And this too! She twitched slighty, and then regained her composure. Eh..gomen. There's your spot of humor for the day. And better yet, at my expense. Yes, anyway, Logan showed up. Silver and he began rambling some nonsense of Silver belonging to Logan's clan, and then Logan threatened to kill me. He plans on exposing the Coven, as well as everyone else, and I'm the next one he's after once Silver is out of the way. She swallowed hard. This was a tough pill to swallow. Breathing scarsely, her eyes swirled in grays. It hurt to think about this. ..Yes..and then..I found out he's an Alpha Male. Partially immune to silver, like you, and such. And finally, New York City domination. But doesn't every evil plot end with something along those lines? Fate glanced down at her palms where they had been bleeding from before. When had that happened?

Fate gaped again. Oh, so now I have to have a PLAN!? What is the matter with you!? Who asked you here in the first place!? She leaned down and grabbed Jaden by the shoulders, shaking him gently to make sure everything in his head was in proper functioning order.
