I wonder, was this mask such a thing. I mean the mask seems to be the only thing not dissolve by the acid." she said. "Do you want it Aria?" Cy said gently. The tip of his dagger was melting away. But if Aria wanted the mask to examine it then he'd pick it up with his own hand. Acid or not he would heal, he was a Vampire after all. "Sure." she said. Cy tossed his dagger away and grabbed the mask of course most of his hand had to touch the melting acid of the creature. Cy clenched his teeth and forgot about the pain for now. He pulled the mask from the mess and stood up. He washed the mask off in the swampy water and handed it to Aria. His hand that held the mask was torn to shreds, and he was bleeding heavily beacuse of the acid that had ocme in contact with his flesh. Majority of his hand was now bone, but as he held out the mask his flesh began to regenerate slowly. "Here you go." Aria notice the mask stop glowing. "Odd." she said. But at the same time. You felt something odd enter your head. Telling you to put on the mask, that by doing so you would be invincible that nothing could stop you. She goes to reach for the mask. "Wait." Cy stopped Aria. He could feel the mask call to him and for a bit he was silent. His eyes flashed and he dropped the mask into the swamp water. Cy shook as if he was shaking a bad feeling off. "I wouldnt touch it. It has a nasty little spell on it. Makes you want to put it on. Least thats how it made me feel. It promises you invincibility, and that makes me think its a trap." The mask was at Cy's feet underneath the water and he wasnt about to touch it. "Okay." she said. She stops talking for a few minutes, and place her feet down firmly and does a type of drill attack into the water. It seems to find the mask and with some work and alittle while energy and time. The mask breaks apart and is destroy. Aria gets out of the water. "I hope I didn't get you wet." she said. "But I had to destroy it, before someone else grabs it. But I wonder if the other things did a similar reaction that made their victims sacrifice themself to those things?"

"Oh, don't be afraid little one..." aria said trying to be calm and yet cautious. "I won't hurt you." She stops crying. The girl turns around. He face seems scrated, and her shrit front appeared scrated and cut up. Aria steps back. She goes to attack aria, but Aria dodge and crush the childs head. She steps back, a bit shock at what she did.

Malem still in the body of the observer, wishing to diffuse the situation, shouts a little too loud to the sniper, "Over there! He's quickly getting away, he's heading towards Blue Rose Lane!"Sano looked like he was mock-pondering the situation. "Hmm, actually I think I am, being that I can probably out run all of your guns combined and I have the power of fire and ice on my side. I personally recommend telling me where Adrius is before things get ugly."
With that he dropped a smoke grenade from the top of the tower down, obscuring the area in smoke, before lighting up the area with pulse fire.
"We got a situation here."
Hearing the distraction, the soldier carrying Adrius gets up and runs, heading off to Blue Rose Lane.

Aria trying to reach the labs, but their seems to be those experiment looking humans trying to snipe at her or shoot her. A few went in with blades and fist. Aria dispatch those with blade or first weapons.

"yeah." she said panting. She goes to where the lab was. She notice the place was still safe, but their were several corpses of those experiments. Their seem to been a message written in blood: don't forget to lock the doors. As well look to past to find answers to the present. "Well whoever did this is long since gone." Aria said. "Well I look up the maps. Maybe if whoever wrote this is true." She goes to check the maps. But as she did, she came across an odd file with an acess code. "Great. I think I found the file. But it will take some time before I can get into it." Aria said. At the same time some footsteps were heard.
