fluffing hair..., large hug...hehehe...anyway...I'll see you three later...
*Shunketsu checked the locations of the traps with a wave of chakra from his missing eye socket, and then darted through the forest, heading back to the Konoha gates...he had just remembered about something he had in his apartment...hopefully, it was still there, intact, for it was probably the most precious thing he had...*
*Shunketsu reached his apartment and walked in...windows were shattered, and a few kunais were here and there, but it seemed in good shape...he went over to his bed, and took out a large box from underneath...he opened it and there was his best Fuuma Shuriken...probably the most well-made in all existance...or at least, it was in his opinion...it was his only momento of his past...*
*Shunketsu took the Fuuma Shuriken out and retracted it to its claw form...he then set it with his 2 other Fuuma Shurikens...*
*He then started making his way back to the others...*

Kotai shook hands with Shunketsu, he had a firm grip and his shake was formal. He dropped it shortly as Hinata hugged him, however, not used to such close contact with anyone. Kotai froze for a moment, then wrapped an arm around Hinata's back, gently returning the hug. "I know some didn't survive, I don't know who... but I also know we've all lost people dear to us and I can't waste my time crying over it."
He smiled as the bandage was placed over his face, one his insects crawling out from within the wound and into his scarves somewhere. "Thanks, Hinata-chan." He looked back over to the others, "Sound..." He peered through those oddly green pupils of his, a spark of anger somewhere deep within. "If you can trust him, I'll give him a chance. Still, to think, all this started with Sound in the fir... wait, don't we need to look for the Hokage?" He asked, suddenly worried. "Let's rest up, and see if we can come up with a plan."

::Hinata nodded:: We have set some traps, which should hold long enough for people to take to hiding and man a defense if anything should come up.
Lets enjoy this afternoon before we go. Its a nice place to rest out here.

Kotai sighed and took a seat with his back to the bark. "Maybe it is time to unwind..." He looked at his hands, stared at all of the remains of the crusted blood... the blood of his enemies. "Try and let some of these demons disappear." Kotai lifted his left arm and tossed it whimsically into the air, letting five Destruction Bugs fly out from within a cut in his skin. They kept watch around the perimeter as he gave a wide yawn, "How's the sandwhiches?"

It was delicious, thanks.
Shabang leaned his head backward, and rested his eyes, imagining what was going on back at home. He knew the festival was still going on and he thought for sure they would hang him once he returned, but he didn't care. These people needed some help and mabey he could get the Hidden Sound Village to help out a bit.

Kages usually aren't able to wander to far from Kage tower are they? maybe there? but then again...the place is like totally trashed....

Hinata, I have to leave the village for a while, I'll return, but I need to go home. I'll be back as soon as possible, I promise.
Shabang ran out of the city, making sure not to trigger a single trap.

Kotai opened an eye and pulled his goggles up to his forehead. "The Tower was pretty much demolished in the fights between that creepy shadow man and the Kage from Cloud, Stone, and Water. As it is, we think Hokage-sama has been kidnapped..." He sighed a bit more and stretched. "Now's not the time for action, Shunketsu. Now is the time for rest." He looked up into the leaves above him, staring skyward, "You were lucky that you did not have to fight, Shunketsu... we've done terrible things, seen horrific acts... it's time to let go of those images and relax." Kotai gave a small, wizened smile and sank further against the bark of the tree.

::Hinata slumped from the tree until her head found a resting place in Kotai's lap. She sighed, her eyes closed, her body finally relaxing. Though she seemed about to say something, she feel asleep instead, exhausted from their battles and from helping survivors::

Kotai blinked momentarily, then slipped the goggles back over his face. He rested a hand gently on Hinata's arm and closed his eyes, not yet asleep, but quite relaxed for the time being.

it might be time for you to relax, but I'm still guilt-struck over not being here when I was needed...I might as well go open a soup kitchen or something to help those survivors who have just about nothing left...
*Shunketsu walked off towards the village, leaving the two to relax alone...he kinda smirked as he walked off...*
((neh, wolfwood_AKA_gunman, it's not like we don't appreciate you joining the guild and whatnot, and we hope you aspire to become an active member who'll contribute to the guild and its members...but we would also appreciate if you didn't post random messages that have no specific relation to the storyline...that goes in the OOC thread...if you read the intro of the guild before joining, it mentions that this is an organized guild, so if you don't mind, let's keep it that way smile ))
