Well, I just zapped through the TV channels and WTF is this?!?! They are playing a Japanese band, "Mucc" (or something like that) with a song in Japanese language on VIVA (a music channel, MTV-like). That's not something I expected... o.O ... You know, that's something that would have brightened up a whole week for me - ten years ago. sweatdrop Now that i have internet, I'm not lacking manga- or Japan-related stuff anymore. redface lol

yea, nowadays every time I turn on the tv there's some random anime show on. From craptacular to amazing everything is shown. I'm only glad CN showed as many Miyazaki films as it did (of course Ghibli has another wonderful director too). I had seen them already but there're a bunch of people that think:
anime = naruto
anime = DBZ
anime = mechas
anime = schoolgirls
And I would say mainstream anime is kinda like that, it's like saying comics is about superheroes and stuff, mainstream comics are, most underground comics cover a varied number of real life and not so real crappiness. Same with anime.
I love both anime and cartoons just like I love mangas and comics but damn too much of either or both will drive me nuts.

Does anybody know how to transfer game saves from one Xbox (old one not 360) to another or if it is even possible?
Some game saves allow you to copy them to the memcard but most don't so if anybody has tried doing that with the ethernet cable or something I would like to know.
Btw two non modded Xbox

Not quite the same as your "rant" Zai but recently at the school where my Mom works an art teacher showed Spirited Away. Granted my Mom didn't see the whole thing but she said it was weird, and kept calling it a cartoon. For a cartoon it would be weird, but while it was animated I wouldn't call it a cartoon (unlike some anime). But that's mainly her opinion and as much as I'd like to I can't change them, to her anything animated will always be a cartoon.
As for backing up an Xbox I have seen a few methods that should work, some involve opening the box, I'll try and see what I can find.

OK the GTA Hot Coffee mod might be a little old, but I did find a non-GTA Hot Coffee related news post today. It seems that a company makes self heating "cans" and for one variant there have been several cases of the heating mechanism: getting too hot, mixing with the liquid etc. Here's the link in case you care. The original Slashdot article had some nice replies I liked the one from the maker of the cups themselves the desgin seems quite sound byt Chemistry can work oddly so mistakes don't seem too unreasonable.

I recently got a Face Veil from an event (kinda wishing I hadn't opened the box now). I can't seem to sell it in the stores, and when I listed it in the Marketplace no one made an offer. I figured it was a bug so I looked, briefly, and then ended up posting a thread to see if anyone else had experienced it or knew of a work around. Saw the trailer for DOAX2. I'm both impressed and dissapointed.
Impressed:
Nice graphics, the clothes are great. Even more ecchiness, I thought it wasn't possible. Hints at awesome minigames (most of them from other games that fall in the H ******** again
I also saw the new MGS4 trailer. I can't really talk about it without drooling so I'll just describe it Tarzan style.
