Mik got out of the car as Kaeru tugged the leash. He placed one hand down on his skirt and the other on his forehead to block the sunlight. He looked at the scientist and followed him happily his scruffy tail wagging and his ears up.

Mik looked up at Kaeru and blushed. The dog demon couldnt believe what he heard, "I-I'm number o-one?" He smiled and hugged his master as his tail wagged happily. One of the experiments stepped forward, he was a tall thin neko with long black shining hair. His cat ears were jet black with white tips, and his tail had a silky layer of black fur. His golden eyes shone as he looked down at the pup in Kaeru's lap and he made a face of disgust.
His features were perfect, not only was he an exotic dancer and an envy to the other experiments. He was also intelligent and looked like someone of noble blood. His voice came out smooth and calm, "Master Kaeru, this isnt one of your best decisions. Why would you want to move a mutt to number one. He hasn't even been here that long, and he isnt that special." He looked down at Mik with his gold eyes, a look of hate in them, "I suggest you rethink this, he's much too young and of a horrible race." Sabazios folded his slender arms in front of his chest and grinned, proud of his last statement.
Mik glanced back at Sabazios, "W-why do you have to say things like that? M-master knows what he is doing. Y-you shouldn't question him, you may get hurt like that," he looked up at the panther neko hoping he would reconsider his opinion. Sabazios scrunched his nose and looked down at the pup with even more disgust, "What do you know about Master Kaeru? You've only been here for a few days."

Sabazios was taken back by the scientist's words. "B-but Master Kaeru, I am older and more experianced than this flea infested mongrel. I can show you that I am a better choice." His ears shot straight up, as he began to lose his temper.
Mik smiled as he felt Kaeru pet him behind his ear. He looked back at Sabazios and smiled, "M-Maybe master wants someone younger now. Someone who isnt so arrogant, and stuck up.." He looked back at the scientist with his smile.
The panther neko's patience had run thin, you could see it in his face. He reached down at took Mik by the collar, "You damn mutt!" Mik didn't know what to do, he coughed when his collar was tugged. Instinct told him to turn around and bite the neko, so he did. He turned his head around driving his small but sharp fangs into Sabazios's wrist, and growled softly. His ears shot back and his tail hung low to the ground.

Mik wouldnt let go of Sabazios's wrist, he continued to put pressure on it till a small stream of blood trickled down from the bite. The panther was now enraged to see the pup had bitten him and drawn blood. He tried to pull his wrist away but that only made Mik bite harder. He scrunched up his nose, showing that he was obviously angry. He brought his free hand up and slapped Mik, his claws leaving small gashes in the boy's cheek. Mik recoiled holding a hand to his hurt cheek, feeling blood on his hand.
Sabazios grinned, "You get what you deserve mutt." He licked some blood off his claws as he looked down at Mik with an arrogant expression.
The pup whimpered his cheek stinging from the blow. He took his hand off and looked down at it to see his palm covered in blood.

Mik whimpered as he held onto his cheek, "I-I didn't mean to hurt you..or take your spot. P-please don't hurt me anymore." The pup curled up in his spot still keeping a hand on his cheek. Sabazios simply snorted and looked up at Kaeru, "Ofcourse Master Kaeru, forgive me." He looked back down at Mik with his arrogant expression, "I'll be number one again, you'll see." the panther turned and walked away pushing another experiment out of the way.

Mik sat on the cold table whimpering, "I-It stings m-master," he said sobbing softly. He looked down at his hand covered in blood, his cheek beginning to sting again. He placed the hand back on his cheek and looked around the lab at the different instruments and tools. Finally laying his eyes on Kaeru he blushed and looked down.

Mik blushed and put his hand to his cheek. He smiled and wagged his tail happily, "Th-thank you!" He hopped off the table and hugged Kaeru from behind his tail still wagging. "Y-you're right it doesnt hurt at all.." He put his head against his master's back and smiled to himself, glad that he was better and now close to Kaeru.

Mik blushed allowing Kaeru to strap him up, he wouldnt struggle against his master. His tail curled up, instinctivly, in between his legs. "Wh-what kind of m-modificaton?" the pup asked keeping his gaze on his master.
