nightlight so i just finished watching the last 2 episodes, 129 and 130, and i had a total epiphany that ties in with the manga. i know it doesn't look very plausible, but if you look at the outline of the mysterious sharingan user, and then you look at one of the scenes in 129... how could that person be anyone but sasuke? still following his brother, i see... wink wouldn't that be a trip... Nah, that guys seems to be in charge and older.

He got anyways, even though he never ended up killing Naruto. Just a big ol' a** beating is all it takes, I guess. Haha Itachi, you went through all the work for nothing. xp

nightlight wouldn't obito be missing an eye though? the character in the manga has 2 eyes...
also, i wonder if and how many of the other tailed demons akatsuki has their hands on already... What character in what manga? We do not yet know if the third sharingan user is the leader of Akastuki or not. He may just be a shinobi with another bloodline jutsu.

1st, who says (besides Itachi) that you have to kill your bestfriend in order to gain the Mangekyou sharingan? If you actually look at the latest manga it seems (well at least it's implied) that Kakashi may have gotten the Mangekyou Sharingan and I doubt he would have killed anyone to get it and Gai is still alive. Killing your best friend may have been one way to get it but I doubt that Masashi Kishimoto would have made it the only way to get it cause I beleive that Sasuke probably already has it and he didn't even have to kill Naruto to get it.
2nd, there is no way that Sasuke would be the person in Akatsuki for a simple reason: Itachi still lives. Sasuke's reason for his own exsistence is to kill Itachi, and that's it. Sasuke would join Akastuki if it would lead to Itachi's death, but alas the mysterious man has yet to even threaten Itachi. Oh and there are supposedly 2 more people in Akatsuki who are stronger than Itachi and I'm guessing the person you are talking about is one of them, so if that was Sasuke, then Itachi wouldn't be breathing.
3rd, the mysterious man in Akatsuki may the thrid Mangekyou Sharingan user, and then again he may not be. Masashi Kishimoto really hasn't given us much knowledge into the other mambers of Akatsuki. Hey, i got some ideas about the mange sharigan.
1. The mange is not only used to cast that one instant illusion that Itachi used on Kakashi and Sasuke. (But it is something only a mange user can do)
2. The mange's real abilities are that of the regular sharigan, just amplified many time over, thus aloowing the mange user to see and do things beyond comprhesion.
3. But all this comes at a cost, being able to see all these things at that level goes beyond the natural limits of even the Uchihas, and stresses ou the eye to the point that it starts to degrade the eys's synapses and crap like that. Itachi has learned this the hard way, noting his liberal use of the mange when he first obtained it, and how he barely uses it at all anymore, and even when he does, his only uses it for a second or two to cast the illusion.
there, i'm done for now, so, what do you guys think?

Koreachess I just have a couple of problems with what you are all assuming (and with what I am assuming xp ).
1st, who says (besides Itachi) that you have to kill your bestfriend in order to gain the Mangekyou sharingan? If you actually look at the latest manga it seems (well at least it's implied) that Kakashi may have gotten the Mangekyou Sharingan and I doubt he would have killed anyone to get it and Gai is still alive. Killing your best friend may have been one way to get it but I doubt that Masashi Kishimoto would have made it the only way to get it cause I beleive that Sasuke probably already has it and he didn't even have to kill Naruto to get it.
2nd, there is no way that Sasuke would be the person in Akatsuki for a simple reason: Itachi still lives. Sasuke's reason for his own exsistence is to kill Itachi, and that's it. Sasuke would join Akastuki if it would lead to Itachi's death, but alas the mysterious man has yet to even threaten Itachi. i think the other sharingan user isn't Shisui. I also am not sure that the person in Akatsuki is the sharingan user (look in the chapter in which Naruto is leaving and the last page or two is on th Akatsuki members you CANNOT tell if they are just rings or Sharingan eyes and I do vagley remeber seeing the same character (shadowy figure how is part of Akatsuki who wasn't Itachi) in another chapter where his eyes were different. I'll hold out until this character is revealed to see if it is Shisui (which I doubt) or if he is the third Mangekyou sharingan user (which I find plausible).
