Rain Yupa PG-13, children. PG-13. stare Thanks Rain, I'm sure we all knew it wasn't lollipops. Of course, I have a twisted mind, but I end up having to keep it to myself. As for Tommy's surgery, he was getting a varicolectomy to remove varicose veins from tubing in his man parts. Not a very common surgery, but not difficult to do. I guess I neglected to mention the details for fear of scaring out male members! blaugh

But I do agree that we should let it drop. Oh yeah, I remember you mentioning that back in the old thread. *crosses legs*

I was showing Floof Wolf's work off to my boyfriend. I send people to her area in the arena when ever I get the chance.
Does any one else really post stuff there?

LadyElla64 Anyone ever see "Cold Mountain"? I saw it for the first time today. ^_^ I liked it. I haven't seen a movie in so long. K and I have been planning on going to see Spiderman II since the second weekend it was out. I'm afraid that if we don't go soon that it won't be in the theaters anymore... I tried to get her to go last Friday, but forgot that it was the opening ceremonies so I had a choice between going to the dollar theater and seeing something by myself or just finding things to do around the house.

What was your critique of it? Was there areas of it that were better than others or were lacking (i.e. action, character development, screen typing, cinematography, etc.)?

It was better than the first, I suppose, but it was basically the same thing as the first with a different villian. And a twist at the end. But yeah, out of the other comic book-based movies, this one definitely looks the best.

But yeah, out of the other comic book-based movies, this one definitely looks the best. As long as there is deep character development in the Peter Parker - Mary Jane Watson - Harry Osborn love triangle then I'll be happy. I thought that the mirror scene with Willem Defoe (Green Goblin/Norman Osborn) in the first Spiderman was some of the best acting I've seen in quite awhile. Though I have to say that Andy Serkis (Gollum/Smeagol) in The Two Towers was just slightly better.

But yeah, out of the other comic book-based movies, this one definitely looks the best. confused I think it's a wonderful adaptation of the comic and staying very true to it except in some minor details. The imagery and depiction of the duality and inner struggles of the characters was wonderful. I'd see it again in the theater and found it to be better than the first one. I didn't find it to be the same story at all. It had different struggles, different villains with different objectives and more in-depth character development. I'm psyched for the third one, and what you considered a twist is what happens in the comics. wink I'm not giving any spoilers though.
Two thumbs way up. xd
