Alex headed over to the arcade and gave it a while. Apparently the festival was almost over, so he tried to make this last game count...for what it was worth.
Alex tried to focus as hard as he could for darts. He probably stood there for a solid ten minutes just staring at the target muttering "focus..." to himself. In the end he didn't do very well, anyways.
After that was the ring toss, which he really didn't do very well at. He almost got two rings, but it fell off at the last second, leaving him with just two tickets.
Alex completely flubbed it on the wheel, and after that it was basically over. He couldn't really hope to win the fishing game, although he was going to try it anyways.
Alex stared at his net, completely intact and holding a tiny wailmer inside. "I got it! I did it!" Alex waved the net around excitedly, which caused the paper to tear. The wailmer plopped back into the water, but luckily the boy in charge had seen and gave him his 100 tickets. Oh boy! Now he had enough for a really cool prize!

Darts wasn't much better, in fact it was only one better than his previous score. Briefly, Huey wondered if this would continue to be his luck throughout the rest of the games: his score steadily increasing by one. He'd have to find out, but for now the boy put his two tickets away.

Huh. Huey looked down at the three tickets his attempt at the Arcade produced, shifting them across his palm with a thoughtful glance. He actually hadn't thought he'd get another single increase in winnings, but here he was. Third game and only three tickets won. The boy was too impressed with the serendipity of it all to be truly upset about his low numbers and instead continued on to the next game.

This was officially weird now. Four tickets, fourth game, four in a row. Huey no longer knew what to think of this, though if his his final game ended with him only getting five tickets he'd have to remember to quietly ask the universe about this odd pattern, and why it couldn't have started at a higher number.

Well, he'd managed to break the cycle. Unfortunately it didn't end on the happy note Huey would have preferred. With a light sigh the boy slipped his two tickets into his pocket. He'd had a good run though, that at least brought the boy solace, but still.. it was getting rather dark and he needed to head home soon. He really was fine with what he'd accomplished, he just... hadn't expected to end his games with only two tickets.

Huey had accomplished a lot today, he realized this. The boy hummed happily to himself as he made his way back to the Seagallop, his hands swinging idly by his side. The sun had set long ago, but with the many well lit stalls dotted across the island he had no trouble in seeing the pathway before him. Of course, this didn't actually rid him of all his fears but at the very least he wouldn't have to worry about getting lost or running into a pokemon nabbing stranger. Though the latter wasn't much of an actual scenario, not with so many witnesses and his own pokemon-- especially Tybalt, who was always on high alert when they were in a crowd. Dutch seemed far less paranoid than his fairy-type companion, though his gaze was just as watchful, if not more.
Still humming to himself, Huey was able to make it to the boat without incident and after telling the Captain that he wanted to head to Four Island he settled into a seat. He needed to collect Minerva and Prim from the Daycare before he returned to Goldenrod City. Tybalt sat down beside him while Dutch grew comfortable on the floor. Get his pokemon, trade in his tickets, get back home, and start training for his upcoming battle. Easy enough to do.

As they passed over two island, Kouvu let the tickets in his claws drop. They fluttered down towards land while he watched with curiousity for a short while before catching up to Arezu and Tanjoubi.
Alex marched up to the prize booth. "I would like the prizes please!" He announced, shoving his fistfull of tickets forward.
