Well she still had zero idea of what the heck was going on, people were still fighting but at least the vines seemed to be backed off for a time. If only the feeling of sickness would pass she would be okay.. that and if only she had a way to get Chinthliss to freaken' speak to her.
The bad news was that she was hearing soft words just out of the range of her hearing, yet still cutting through her tunes. love me like you loved the sun/ Scorching the blood in my vampire heart/ I'll be the thorns in every wound/ ....Murmur.. murmur.... You will send my hope.. Eerie as s**t.. and it made her want to vomit even more than what ever was going on.
Kimberly stumbled toward some of the wreckage of the walls, not sure what she was going to do, but feeling like she had to at least try something, there had to be someone she could help. Was this even an attack that she could do something against?
Gritting her teeth and fighting back the sickness inside of her she started working on moving some of the rubble and trying to find a place where she could do something. Well that and she wanted to ensure that no one was going to attack her, it was good to have some rocks at hand if that happened.
"Come on.. someone give me a freaken clue as to what the hell is happening. Killer vines, insane students... and this mess. I just got to this bloody school and I am damned sure this was not in the brochure. Welcome to the new school... by the way expect to be attacked by EVERYTHING."
Then again... maybe it was there and she should have read the welcome package... Whatever... keep moving stones.. keep looking for something that may be useful. Keep on.. Keeping on.

[LIGHTHOUSE -> COURTYARD]
Rep panicked as the tendrils reached up, long threads of white slinking around his legs as he wriggled and struggled in mid-air in the human equivalent of a cat trying to right itself while treading water at the same time. It was hopeless and the force was inexorable as he was pulled forward.
"Look look.." he pleaded but was silenced by the voice. "I.."
There was a yank on his coat and at the last moment he went from being dragged forward to being much more quickly hauled backwards. It closed, the ******** thing closed and he tried to reach out to stop it before it did, with all the terror of an animal in a trap. He was pulled again, this time in a way that made him feel like his gut had been completely ******** left behind.
He hit the floor and for a moment, lay there, seeing stars and disoriented utterly by the whole experience and feeling as if he really ******** had to go have a long lie down in a darkened room. Something hit the floor with a heavy glassy kind of sound next to him.
The voice jarred him back to reality like a bucket of cold water and he flinched as if struck, scrabbling to retrieve the crystal just in time to hear the other man leave. Only then did he eye it with curiosity, examining the strange butterfly.
An antidote.
He thought quickly of Jordan and the others and their present predicament and stood - taking a few moments till his stomach stopped roiling and the room stopped spinning - before heading off straight back in the direction of the courtyard. He didn't follow Caelius, he wasn't going to push his luck.
He just ******** hoped people were still moving out there.

[Courtyard - Horace]
"Thanks," he muttered at Chance. A dim part of his mind wondered where Oliver was, but he yanked on the net again. Horace relished the burst of clarity the pain brought his mind. Yanking again, he twisted his fingers into the electric net even as his skin began to blister from it. It gave free, peeling off of Tommy like reluctant wrapping paper. Even after, Horace still stood, net tangled around his hand, not thinking to drop it as it hurt him.

CHANCE - COURTYARD
"Hang in there, don't worry," he said soothingly. His fingers, which had started to blister under the net's snapping, crackling electricity, kept moving to try and tug it off of Tommy. "We'll get this ******** thing off of you, all right? Don't let me down now, Tommy."
But it seemed like Horace had finally, finally managed to remove the damn net, and Chance gave him a satisfied smile.
"Excellent. That's much better, isn't it?"

Zeke was safe behind him, and so Ever gave in to the welling urge for a bit of violence -- swinging wildly at the zombie with a low grumble behind it, something that was more emotion than sense, or even intent. He wanted to smash its face in, and that was that.
It made him not a very good shot.

[ Finn- Courtyard ]
Intense nausea, and then Finn would very unceremoniously lose control of the contents of his stomach.
Sickness again, confusion, pain. The feeling of being attacked. Terror. Panic gripped him, and he couldn't stop.
It hurt. Everything hurt. His head hurt. His ears hurt. He just wanted to make it stop, he just wanted it to go away. In his dreams whenever he'd been in pain, shadows had taken over him. Bradley wondered if he could do that now. Just turn into a shadow and fix his pain.
The world vanished from a moment.
When he came to, Bradley was not Bradley. There was no recognition behind those too wide eyes, or in that face split by a murderous smile.
There was only destruction, hunger, and excitement.
He charged for one of the other hunters in his line of sight, swing out with a punch for her.

The sound of it rang through his ears, louder and louder and louder until it was no longer ringing laughter but just a single unrelenting sound and he let go of Lucky suddenly, clutching his hands to his head. Then everything went black, for a moment. He didn’t realize it himself, but blood began to trickle from his nose.
Coming to, he wiped it with his hand, smearing it across his face as he turned, staring at the fallen Lucky at his feet. He didn’t even acknowledge Gale standing, gun drawn. Somewhere, Ian shouted his name, but Shiloh wasn’t paying attention.
He had only one thing on his mind, and he wasted no time.
He lunged at Lucky.

[Oliver - Courtyard]
It was here.
It was here.
Oliver was hit by disorientation and a sudden loss of self. For a moment, he forgot who he was, gripped entirely by both rage and panic. It was here, and he was angry, beyond all doubt, and yet also uncertain. He felt disjointed. His mind was tearing in half.
And then, that feeling disappeared and left him with only pure blinding rage. He couldn't think. He wouldn't think.

He could have stopped him. Could have gotten him away from the zombie and gotten them started towards the beach just to see what the ******** was going on.
Instead Zeke just sat there, watching. Taking intense satisfaction in the scene that was playing out before him. It was utterly selfish, and he didn't care.

[ Beach ]
That all went downhill very quickly.
Mimsy stopped abruptly at the edge of the shore, watching as Lucky found himself in a very precarious situation. At least one of them was infected, and there were signs that other infected hunters had made their way to the water's edge as well, and signs of...pie.
She squinted at them, confused, trying to blink away the strange blur between reality and what was assuredly not reality, but there was ultimately one priority to be concerned about here. It was not pie.
"I am deeply sorry, Lucky," she called to him, backing away with an irritable frown. "Your circumstances have now reached the point to which I was referring. I wish you well! These were your choices!"
By then, her retracing of her steps had brought her next to Robert, and she opened her mouth to begin what would have inevitably been an infuriated rant - but something seemed wrong.
"Robert." There was urgency in the way she spoke his name, and she struggled to keep her eyes on him as her head began to ache. "Robert, how are you feeling?"

Rep charged into the courtyard, runic dagger in one hand, the fragment in the other and cursed the ******** stitch in his side again. He was supposed to be ******** fit. Humans were flimsy was the lesson he was learning time and time again throughout today, and especially him, it was just a ******** mercy the cuts had scabbed over and for the most part seemed to have calmed down.
He scanned the area, chest rising and falling as he looked for anyone he recognised in the infected ranks, he couldn't be sure what this ******** thing did but he was going to find out.

[ Courtyard - Ever ]
In the midst of bodies, something grabbed at him, and bit down hard, through cloth and skin. It was surprising that humans even had teeth that strong.
Well, there was Horace, standing there next to Chance and Tommy, with a net in his hands. Very calmly... As the net crackled in his fingers.
"H-Horace, be careful!" Oliver yelped, swatting the net out of his friend's hands with the back of his had, receiving a tiny shock for his efforts. He glanced at both Tommy's rescuers. "D-don't just grab electric things, it makes your muscles tighten around it..."
And then suddenly he was no longer himself. The rage that suddenly welled up in him was so uncharacteristic, and he was certain of one thing for a second... and then there was only anger.
Instead of looking at Horace's hands like he might have done a second ago, he lunged to tackle his friend in a blind rage.
