Maebe was the queen of stealth, having not only worn her supreme hat once more; but created an outfit to go with it. Black wasn't a popular color in her wardrobe, but she'd managed, with some tights and a bodysuit. She was ready for her Black Widow band-aids now. No monsters waited their arrival. She gave him two thumbs up, and headed in.

The pond was merciful this time. While the vines lashed him once and twice, perseverance won as per usual, and Dawson got away with only a few scrapes for his troubles. Stamina: 13

Maebe had even less trouble with the vines than he did, which was considerably surprising. She might have internally attributed her success to the fact that she was trying to do Black Widow sneak moves through the water, including a poor attempt at a back flip over one which landed her mostly in water, but really it was just dumb luck. Still, she stuck the landing like a champ. Stamina: 30

Maebe received a standing ovation regardless of how tricky her moves were; Dawson was impressed which was all that should matter. Next in the Olympics: five hundred meter run from a Cerberus. He managed to get to the other side huffing and wheezing, but he wouldn't be getting any medals for that performance. Stamina: 3

Maebe had her own race to run, against a bull who'd tasted her blood before and thought she was delicious. When she finally lost it, she realized she'd barely caught up with Dawson, and gave him a lip biting smile. "Good luck." She whispered, hoping that their luck in the run was not going to run out for him in the end.

Luck? Where they were going, luck didn't exist. Take for example the roaming bull at the entrance. Dawson looked at Maebe pitifully and whined, like she had the power to make it go away. (Well, she sort of did, judging on past encounters...)

That whine hit her right in the heart, and she pouted, wishing she could just magically poof it away. Beating it down to a pulp was the best she could do.
"Let's go, babe." She urged, summoning her weapon. "We're just getting our exercise in, is all."
