Mephlius stopped, turned to Tokeru, and charged again.

Tokeru stood there, and a moment before Mephlius got within contact range, sent his hand into the fist, waiting to see what Mephlius would try.

Amnity slowly walked into the training room,hoping not to have made a bad choice of coming. She leaned against the door frame, watching the 2 as they sparred with each other. The hunter stepped back a bit, deciding that she didn't want to interrupt Mephlius as he trained. Though she didn't want to enter the training room, she sat by the door, reading her little black bible as she waited. Amnity would look up once in a while to see what they were up to, then continued on with her reading.

Mephlius' hand was caught, so he carried the momentum forward, bringing his left hand toward Tokeru's gut.

Tokeru nodded in mid move, Mephlius was a good fighter, but he was too wasteful. Tokeru did not stop the other man's momentum, but pulled on the lycan's hand, bringing him crashing against Tokeru, who had a hand aimed directly at Mephlius' solar plexus once more.

As Mephlius' punch impacted on Tokeru (you didn't block it), he took the punch to the midsection. Bad sacrifice on his part... No matter how much he wanted, Mephlius' Lycan side always enhanced his strength and senses, even in human form. It didn't help that his adrenaline was pumping because of the fight. At full strength, Mephlius' punch would have shattered bones. However, since it was a spar, he wasn't fighting at full strength. Nonetheless, the punch was definitely nothing to laugh at.

((Because you were yanked forwards, so the punch wouldn't really have time to be at full strength or close to))
Tokeru took the hit to the abdomen, and let go of Mephlius' other hand, snapping his elbow towards the lycan's wrist and other hand grabbing towards the elbow, finger meaning to dig into a pressure point. If all succeeded, Tokeru would then grab Mephlius' hand, bend it backwards and snap his arm towards the side, throwing him off balance and on to the floor.

Mephlius was ignorant to Tokeru's attack. Nonetheless, he dodged it, by accident. He raised his right arm up, grabbing Tokeru's shoulder. He then attempted the scissor maneuver that Amnity had taught him. First, he threw one leg behind Tokeru's knees. He placed his other on his chest, and twisted his legs in an attempt to bring him down.
((Err... I don't mean for that to auto-hit, but I didn't know how to phrase it besides that. If you dodge the shoulder grab or either leg, ignore the rest of the post.))

Tokeru let Mephlius do what he was trying to, with one very, very large difference. While Mephlius hooked his leg behind his, Tokeru brought his hand up to the Lycan's sternum, and dug his hand in underneath the man's ribs, stabbing his fingers into the soft flesh, and he brought his other arm up and around, forcing his elbow directly into the soft spot above the collar bone as they fell. If Mephlius would fall with him, and at this point he didn't have much choice other than to roll to the side, he would have an elbow in his throat.

Mephlius still had his hands free, as it was a takedown done with the legs. He used one arm to grab Tokeru's wrist before he could stab it into his ribs. He grabbed Tokeru's elbow with his other hand, as they fell to the mat.

Tokeru grinned as they landed. "Mephlius, you may want to check to where my leg is" he said as his leg was currently located just an inch away from Mephlius' crotch, and could have slammed in at any moment.

Mephlius opened his eyes. "HOLY s**t! Tokeru, I think we should stop. You're taking this spar a bit seriously..."

Tokeru smiled. "No, if I would have taken the sparring seriously, at your first punch I would have slammed my elbow into your throat instead of your solar plexus and as you gasped for air, drove a finger into your eye."
He pushed Mephlius to the side and stood up, no worse for the wear. "You did well for operating on instinct, but it's alot different to fight like that with your eyes opened, but if you can master it, you will be a formidable foe. Also, life or death, nothing is off limits."
