*the man raised his arm with the gauntlet...he had already suspected something...but was now confirming it...a sound like static emerged...causing a dissonance to whatever sound Edge would be trying to send out...*
*he then rushed towards Edge, carefully aiming a fist directly for Edge's head...the static sound could still be heard...*

*The three of them ducked for cover behind light wooden shields they had been carrying on their backs...the lightning bolt struck the ground where the Mizukage was...and splashed around the liquid that was there every whichway, it would be near impossible to dodge...it would have been like dodging raindrops in a storm...*
Youzai: *starts laughing...* hahahaha...you can hide Mizukage...but let's see how well you can think and fight, when you start hallucinating...*
*the chemical compound that had been splashed around was a hallucinogen...namingly LSD...LSD does not have to be ingested or injected, but upon contact with the skin, no matter what size the dosage, it is automatically absorbed into the system...and will almost immediately affect the person's mind...it would not affect the Mizukage before this as the liquid would only have been touching his shoes...*
(( rofl i never thought that what my teacher said about LSD would ever come in handy...hehehe...i'm bringing drugs into Naruto RPing...what fun...reminds me of that ending theme for whatever episodes where it seriously looked like he was on pot or something...))

((DAMN YOU SHUNKETSU!! lol We need Shunketsu's planning and strategies, as well as his strength. Him and Tomau together are almost unstoppable!! C'MOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNN!!! lol blaugh ))
The Mizukage emerged from the puddle, clearly weakened by the drug and stumbling forward onto his hands and knees, not being able to see straight... "Cowards..
((I cant remember what LSD actually does, Ive had a total blank confused sweatdrop ))

With the girl safe just underneath the shuriken Edge would now be able to counterattack his opponent. His preference of keeping out of close range combat was key here now. If the ninja in question was using a device similar to his own then it meant close range was certainly out of the question. As his opponents fist would hit he would find that this Edge was a replacement using the technique Kawarimi no Jutsu. One of the tags on the Fuuma Shuriken went off releasing a bright flash of light. This would be one of his flash tags placed early as a visual decoy from earlier. Kagemane no Jutsu was on Edge's cards right now as he was now located further away from his new adversary. He still had a few other tricks if need be to catch this opponent and he still wasn't sure whether this one had watched him from before.

Tate: hmph...it doesn't matter what you become...
*The shurikens and kunais flew around the barrier and attached themselves to an opposing wall...wires were set all around the protected Kazekage...and upon the wires of the 4 kunais were Freezing talismans, talismans that limited the movement of all within an enclosed area...*
Tate: it doesn't matter now if you summon Kotoro or not...as long as I have my meal of dragon...i'm happy...

*the static sound seemed louder than ever...and out of nowhere, shurikens seemed to fly towards Edge...a similar vision reached Areno as well, as well as the girl, who screamed out very loudly...*

*the three surrounding the Mizukage simultaneously released their attacks...the speedy one releasing a barrage of shurikens...the other using a barrage of lightning bolts...and Youzai with a barrage of ice needles...the attacks came from every whichway, making it very hard to escape*

Areno ignored the Genjutsu. Being a Taijutsu Specialist grants certain privileges against that sort of thing, not to mention he didn't feel any disturbance against his wind barrier... meaning there wasn't anyone within the throwing distance presented.
What was important, however, is that either enemy was using an all-range Genjutsu with his sound, which Areno could feel vividly against his Soriddo "skin", or targeted him... meaning that the man knew of Areno's presence and the Kaguya would have to become involved shortly...

Edge continued his kagemane despite the shurikens closing in. Using his sound implant he sent out a wave to repel them from him. His Kagemane would still hit and using his sound device would not hinder his concerntration from his objective. With the flash tag going off, not only would Edge's shadow be increased in range but so would everything else with a shadow including the enemy Ninja's. This was one battle he was not going to be underestimated. It was one thing for a ninja to attack anothers Village. But it was another matter entirely when they used tactics like hostages when they didn't even need to. That just made him want to take this guy out.

*the thing with Kagemane is that it is a targeted jutsu...he would have to manipulate his shadow to capture the opponent...other shadows would only support this process...but this situation is this: the sound nin was not there...the image of him dissipated, and nothing was left behind...even though the static could still be heard*

Areno's Chakra was running on fumes, but he wasn't out of the picture yet. He paced around the edges of the rooftop he was on, looking for new enemies to face; it seemed to him that Edge had things wrapped up with this unfortunate fool and everything would soon be over.
While he was doing so, Areno galvanized the last of his Chakra into forcibly dividing new cells... these premature collections would be sacrificed internally to slowly "regenerate" his Chakra pool for the time being, very useful in urgent situations, but he'd feel the effects harshly later. "I grow quite tired with your little invasion, coward-nins! Come forth and face me!" He bellowed from the rooftop in raging boredom.

Edge sighed. His enemy must have had some indication he would attempt Kagemane due to his dissappearing. He must have been quick to respond if he was able to take out the replacement and move. This was looking more and more like Genjutsu and he had little choice but to use his sound implant to make sure he knew what was going on. With the trick failing for a brief moment he tried something different. He sent out a kind of sonar via his implant. This was to be a good quality sonar that would give him a clear indication of where things were. Using his shadow he broke sprained one of his toes to give himself a painful feeling. This was to break out of any sound Genjutsu being used. If his foes were still around he was to get a big surprise.

The Mizukage fell Fowards, he raised his hand to convert the needles back to water, but only working to an extent that made the needles blunt, and not pircing his skin.
He began to pass out as the weapons approached when all of a sudden, there was a series of *Clangs* and surrounding the Mizukage stood 10 more of the most powerful mist shinobi's from the village, each armed as they deflected the on coming weapons.
Four were fellow Kawashi's whilst the other 6 newcomers and the 2 bodyguards that had been with the Mizukage the whole time were just very powerful shinobi, without a bloodline limt.
"Long live Mizukage-sama!!: they shouted fiercely in unison before splitting into groups of four to confront the three attackers, two of the Kawashi's went after Youzai, and one each for the other two groups, these were deffinately no push overs, and the three wouldnt be able to do much when facing a full team of powerful nin each..
((Hopefully enough time has passed..))

*as the genjutsu faded from Edge's senses, a quick fist barely missed his head as the nin dived past...the sound waves were the real attack as he manipulated them to strike at Edge's ears...*
Man: too slow...
*the clean polished shine of the gauntlet reflected the light...the static started dying down as it was no longer useful to him at the moment...the sound nin quickly jumped upon the wall of a nearby building and disappeared around a corner...apparently, he was going for a hit and run tactic...using the buildings to disrupt the sonar...*
::meanwhile::
*Youzai fled from the fight...heading for the direction of what was left of the army...he was near his limit...and his chances in a 1 on many fight were very low...*
*the lightning user was ill-prepared as his attack was only a large barrage of bolts towards his incoming foes...*
*the speed demon however, had an agility that could not be matched by just anyone...he ran right at them, and seemingly disappeared from sight...until a splash from behind the one group was heard...he kicked up some of the LSD which had gathered in a puddle towards his opponents...by relying on the drugs, he was obviously running low on stamina...*
((hehe...can't counter the numbers tactic...must be getting desperate...lol...nice))

*The first team chased Youzai without stopping, throwing their weapons with deadly accuracy to kill, obviously deeply offended that one of their own would try to kill the Mizukage*
*The team that were facing off against the lightning user made sure they didnt keep together and spread out, each creating a clone of water to conduct the lightning away before surrounding him, and charging in, aiming to kill, without any mercy*
*The third team had to think quickly, and one of them came into contact with a bit of the LSD, stumbling slightly, but another two used there water jutsus to knock it away, and the third gathered the LSD filled puddle and aimed it in a wheel around them, the others ducking underneath, and he spread the whell out, wetting most thing in the immediate area, hopefully wide enough to slow down their opponent*
