Ok so I'm doing this really weirdly, I'm going to ... put this post here. If Enzo DOES give her any kind of encouragement, this post will happen lmao. IF NOT THEN IGNORE IT OK; I just have to go to work forever ugh.
Amarus, at her first convenient moment, slipped onto the stage to sing a rendition of a song involving toxicity. The words seemed rather fitting, even if her initial choice of song was a little less, ah, pretty.
Amarus felt the warmth of the light on her, and wondered if that was what it felt like to bask in the light of an entertainment profession; the others were singing their own songs, too, but she'd never really paid attention to anyone else anyway.
Unfortunately, a few bars in, she got entirely distracted by that sensation of loathing for gnomes, and flitted off stage to scare one away.
At which point she returned to Enzo. "So... did you really expect any better from me?" she asked. She was even vaguely apologetic about it.
Eitri helped himself to a few more sips from whatever incredibly strong spirit was hidden in his flask and climbed back on stage. This time he was horrible. Like, ear-bleedingly horrible. The boos from the crowd didn't deter him and he sung on like no one was watching.
Considering no one had yet to take the microphone of Eitri, he was preparing to sing another song until he noticed Shaheen in the crowd. He jumped off the stage and, still smelling like peppermint, grabbed her hand and practically dragged her back up. Another microphone was thrust into her hands and he beamed at her with a grin before starting to sing a horribly cheesy duet. He surprisingly didn't sound to horrible and it was a pleasant experience until he started to dance.
Pokerus then tried to sing some more, this time using a different song.
"Mamma mia, here I go again My my, how can I resist you? Mamma mia, does it show again? My my, just how much I've missed you Yes, I've been brokenhearted Blue since the day we parted Why, why did I ever let you go?"
The reactions didn't seem as good as the first song, so she quickly shut up after that.
He would've seen it like the growing decimals of his shrill; Levi's lips grew into a smile of adoration. If her smile wasn't visible enough, the tatzel's white tail became the usual beacon to her inner workings, whipping side to side in delight. West had danced before but never sung. Levi had to internally state the obvious to herself: West had quite a pair of lungs on him.
Of course, Levi would never admit a win in his favor. When West stepped down and came back to her, the ghoul first pinched at his chin, keeping it in place, and placing a peck at his cheek. Not bad, boil.
Shaheen had just barely gotten back into the tent, her outfit now speckled with glitter and cookie dust. She was just making up her mind about whether to turn around and find Shik, deciding that whatever had just happened, she could let slide, knowing that he would not have acted that way unless he had somehow been unwillingly influenced to do so.
A small smile began to form on her lips as she came to that conclusion, realizing that when he became "normal" again, she could tease him about his behaviour into eternity. Yes, she liked that idea very much!
About to turn back to find him, she instead found a hand gripping her wrist, and she turned around in surprise. "Eitri, what......?" She barely knew the man, but before she even knew what was happening, she was dragged, stumbling in high heels across the dance floor and towards some odd looking set up.
And then a microphone was thrust into her hands.
Giving the man from death a deadpan stare as he began to sing, the only time she bothered to raise the microphone to her lips to "join in", words that did not go along with what was written on the screen came out of her mouth. Words that no lady should ever speak out loud, or with such ferocity.
Good thing Shaheen was not a lady.
Once Eitri began to dance she dropped the mic and booked it out of there.
The DJ booth was looking lonely, so a certain dragon thought she might keep it warm for a little while. And play some epic music while she was at it.
Jumping into the seat, Pokerus had to pause and look at the various disks and knobs that worked the settings, and as she played with one of them visibly panicked as the thing came off.
"Jack jack jack this wasn't supposed to happen you stupid piece of junk why wont you work properly I'm going to turn you into a scrapheap-
She then paused as she realized the microphone was still on
".....Right..." She cleared her throat while the microphone made the obnoxious ringing noise as she nearly throttled the thing, while trying to push the knob back onto the panel.
Okay, game face on.
Evening folks!, this is Sharkbait from Radio Amity, ready to bring to you the delights of rock and roll on this fine night at the carnival! I would like to take a moment to thank our lovely student council for setting up this glorious prom, I can safely say it's been a bitchin time so far.
But enough of the formalities, for I ask you guys, ARE YOU READY TO ROCK?
Alice noticed TK stepping back to watch the two of the ghouls dance with eachother. This wasn't such a good idea. Alice was thinking of how to bring him back over so she wasn't the only one dance with Eira. I mean, she didn't mind dancing with Eira, it was the thought, and action, of dancing in front of other people that she wasn't exactly the most comfortably with. So trying to bring TK back into the area so she wasn't so uncomfortable.
Alice tried to use her hand closest to TK in efforts of bringing him back. Please, she tried to mouth towards TK, please come back TK.
Alice had arrived at Prom with this dress, these shoes, with a pair of black tights and a matching headband.
Age gap? She supposed that were true. Shrugging a little her head tilted away as he whispered into it, a little flush coming back to her cheeks. That wasn't supposed to happen with her. "I suppose you can say it's like this, yes," she said, her voice soft and hopeful he could hear her over the music. The songs were changing quickly...
"...Would you care to dance? I'm sure I can dance to this.. somehow." Bao Yu looked up to Salbei again, curious. She needed to experience this prom for everything it was supposed to be, so she can figure out if she liked it or not. She had a vague feeling, despite the company she was keeping, that prom wasn't her thing, but she couldn't validate that. However, something made her ears start hurting even worse and she looked towards the stage area to see students on stage and just singing these Jack awful songs. Did this happen every time?

He may be very late, but he was fashionable. Uller walked into the main tent with his black suit trimmed with the purest, whitest fur at the collar, collars and the bottom hem. White pinstripes ran along his jacket and pants. A crisp, freshly pressed, silver button down shirt lay under the jacket, the first two buttons undone. His hair was piled into a simple ponytail that ended mid back since it was so high up on his head.
Yes, Uller knew he was good looking... He only prayed his boilfriend thought so, too, and who knew.. Maybe this would help with their current downswing of emotions they were fighting. Etzer said he wanted to stay together, so, Uller was trying to make it impossible for him to leave.
Now, where was his boilfriend?

"Didn't know santa's could implod- explode?" The ghoul was mostly talking to herself as she strolled back toward the main tent, flicking a bit of cookie dust out of her hair. She was still a little gooped up with goodness only knows... SANTA BITS.
But hey, she was in a good mood and had quite a bit of fun with the whole thing. Which was why, she went straight for what her goal had been before. Right? Drinks! She was still thirsty. Still, first things. "Where'd Darren go anyway?" The boil had gotten himself lost on their way over, so... perhaps a text.

And with that out of the way the ghoul went straight for the table of special drinks, not realizing there was any difference. "They all look tasty..." Well best to take whatever she wanted. And with that she snatched up the first beverage she could reach without so much as a second thought...
It was really bland. Kind of like drinking bubbly water? She frowned at the thing as she sipped it a bit more. And then wrinkled her nose at an itch. It lasted a few minute before she suddenly found that... she had grown a beard? Actually it was an excellent Santa Beard. Like, professionally done and all! Wow! "I didn't know santaitis was contagious..." Was all the ghoul could really mumble as she toyed with the new strands of facial hair. You know santa beards looked okay in blue.
"I barely get howta' use them little hand-computers anyway," Enzo wove a hand dismissively as Amarus approached the stage for a quick song... He beamed, eyes lighting up and he clapped his hands as she finished, "Well, hey now, aintchoo all fulla' surprises!! I didn't know you sang, Pidge! Boy do I got an offer you can't refuse," Smiling widely, he offered his arm to help her off the stage again.
Poke took over the DJ booth and he gave her a wave and a tip of his hat. Ah, that was right, it was getting close to time wasn't it? He dug in his pocket to check the schedule. Still a little bit of time.

Circe had wandered back into the main tent of the prom event with a few tickets in tow. So she'd managed to do one thing at prom and that was fighting gnomes. It would be something to put in her memory book later. Her feet pulled her further into the tent until she was a few steps away from the DJ booth. She liked the song and couldn't help but smile a little as she watched everyone interacting with each other. Once again she tried looking for familiar faces among the massive amount of students. "I wonder if I should try to exchange these." She said to herself, drawing her attention away from the students and to her tickets. Maybe she should wait and try to get more before she did. It was hard to say though if she would get anymore though.

How could he say no to please? Eira gave another smile, looking down as she danced. It was fun as she jumped around, trying to encourage her two friends to join her. She wasn’t actually expecting either of them to do karaoke that was a little much even for her. Though she was able to hum along with the current song, she changed the chorus a little to have fun with it. “Alice are you okay, you okay. You okay Alice?” She wasn’t even sure if Alice would recognize the song, but it was interesting given the current situation.

Siska spun as she heard her name call, lifting a hand to help keep her hat in place. "There you are!" She grinned as she spied Eitri. He certainly seemed happy. She followed him towards the karaoke set up with a dubious raise of her brows. She knew she couldn't sing, and she'd get no where near that mic herself.
Eitri, though, was surprisingly good. She let out a delighted laugh and clapped her hands as he finished. "I didn't know you could sing!"

Monty was in the middle of the dance floor shuffling his feet along to the duck song the lights flickered and the music died. Monty turned to the stage to see two gnomes with some weird face paint going on standing on the stage saying something about they are the Clown Crew. "Huh?" he muttered to himself. He stood there watching the little chaos go on the stage and soon watched the little gnomes race out of the tent. It wasn't' to long after that the students began to jump on stage and try to sing their own songs. some where ok and others just terrible, Monty decided he didn't want to stick around much longer to hear how many more songs where going to be subjected to non-performers. He quickly made his way out of the tent and to the fun house.
