mmm...I adore the wind, that sounds so lovely.

I saw later episodes, like I saw at least a couple episodes from every season, but like I said, I saw nothing in any connective order. I don't think I ever saw two sequential episodes. And things that are a continuous story are hard to get drawn into when you keep just getting a tiny stab at the time line at a time. I might make a conscious decision to try something, but yea, it's kind of just an emotional/subconscious decision whether or not I like something half the time. Which is better, because anything I consciously decide on first I tend to over think, and that sometimes takes the fun out of it. It becomes work not joy.

Idk, maybe they didn't want to shop off all his hair, they were using it for Twilight still, hahaha. And yea, I do get that he is one of the light/silly characters, but I guess when they cast him in these more dramatic things he just becomes kind of serious and dramatic. Like anything I've seen him in just being himself, not a character he's never like that. So I don't know if he just decides to be serious with serious stuff, or they make him be serious. I mean if in general that's not what the director wanted then you would have seen some attempt at it, I mean there's a difference between badly acted funny and just avoiding funny altogether.

Although again, it is Shyamalan, and I do like him. It's just he's strictly horror, which is what made the fact that he was the one taken on to write, produce, and direct Airbender a little odd. I mean there is not one thing on the entirety of his resume - besides Airbender, that isn't horror. You know how many funny people end up in horror? Funny people who live longer than 5 minutes? Nada! And in Shyamalan you don't even get comic for 5 minutes, it's creepy through and through. I mean how is he supposed to direct a light/funny character, he's never encountered one before.

Not when it's making it impossible for me to see because of hair and dust in my eyes. D:
Ah, yeah, it's definitely a show you need to watch in order to get the full effect of.
Maybe. XD It still looks ugly as hell long though. Hmmm, yeah, it probably is more the decision of the director to not have Sokka so funny... I mean, I love Shyamalan, but I know he's directed crap before, so I can't exactly put such mistakes past him.
I have to beg to differ on the strictly horror thing though. Lady in the Water had quite a bit of humor in it, and I wouldn't even necessarily classify it as a horror (even though it was advertised as so) than more of a fantasy. Regardless though, the humor in that movie was excellent, but didn't detract from the movie, so I know Shyamalan is capable of integrating humor well. He just didn't do a good job with Sokka. Granted, there were funny parts in The Last Airbender, ones that were done well. It was Sokka that was the problem, really, not the overall humor balance.

Psh, details...it feels so delicious! Hehe, I was loving it toady when I went hiking up very steep hills. I also love the coach who lives at the bottom of the hill and happened to come outside just when me and J were making our way up there, asking us if we'd like water bottles. She's so sweet. We probably would have died up there without it actually, we ended up on a much longer hike than anticipated and perhaps got a weebit lost exploring new trails. I mean we were going the right way we just didn't know that until we reached the end.

Hmm...I realize we spent much of the hike spotting vaginae in the landscape. We must have been delirious. xd

I like soft breezes and mild winds, but not strong, whipping winds. We've been getting a lot of those lately, and it makes me sad.
Sounds like a fun hike though. *wants to go hiking again*
...vaginae?

Mmm, I adore that strong whipping wind too...whip it, whip it good! xd

But yea, I am the freak that rather adores cold weather, my favorite article of clothing is the sweater. Summer and sweaters are not friends so that makes me sad. I like to walk in the rain, I just feel awesome being out in the gloom, and I think the world smells better when it's cold, windy and/or wet. I like to listen to the wind whistle, watch things rustle around. I love when things are green and blooming, or colorful and just starting to fall, or barren but still green and lush. Summer is too brown, too dry, too...death like. The weird thing though, I hate to garden, haha.

Vaginae is the plural of v****a (vaginas is also adequate, I just like vaginae). A lot of the hills weirdly slope into a v****a like shape. And there is this one hill that looks like it has a giant vulva, and there is water from this fall dripping down the center and over, so it looks really...raunchy. Haha, we are fascinated.

Ugh...
I was aware of what vaginae meant, I just didn't get how you spotted them in the landscape. XD;; How... special.

HAHAHAHA, well I figured you should be...but just in case I didn't want to go on and on about the landscape and have you still in a state of confusion. So I answered the question both ways... razz

It was special.

NAME: Lerena. If you can't remember that, feel free to call me Hawk.
AGE: Eighteen ~ 18.
LIKES: Yu-Gi-Oh, Malik, Mariku, Role-playing, Writing, Yuri, and various other things.
DISLIKES: Atemu, Humidity, Inconveniences, Yaoi, and copious clumps of other things.
FAVORITE ANIME: Strawberry Panic, Higurashi, and Umineko.
FAVORITE MANGA: Yu-Gi-Oh, Lucifer and the Biscuit Hammer, the Wallflower
---
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: How did I not stumble upon this guild sooner? Dude, I used the search feature like 485375902750493275904 times, mostly from boredom, and found nothing. Then again, I didn't try the copious variations of the anime name. That may have something to do with it.

I'm obsessed with Malik Ishtar and Mariku, which I'm sure one of you may remember from my join request (if you read it >>). I don't know anyone here, but trust me, this obsession is not to be taken lightly. When not treated for a certain period of time, I may suffer from: irritability, depression, stress overload, and recklessness. I am not joking.

Though, when that obsession is satisfied, I am quite a pleasant person.

Hey Hawk! I'm JK. Welcome to the guild. I shall warn you that it goes through swings of inactivity and currently it's in one, busy college people and all.

Hopefully you'll stick around and things will pick up, and hopefully you'll be able to be pleasant, hah. sweatdrop

Although I'm afraid I won't be much help, Malik and Mariku aren't exactly my loves, though they are pretty. And while I'd take any character challenge in an rp, I probably don't have the time necessary to devout to a new one right now. I'm in my last few weeks of course and then my "vacation" which, though a month long, will entail writing three critical research papers of 4000 words each will make up 100% of the mark for each course respectively. Throw in that, the fact that unless you're in the UK I'm in a vastly different time zone for most of the next year, and even if I had free time it'd still probably be a once a day response at most, and I probably wouldn't be a very good rp partner for what you're looking for (having read that post). Hopefully you'll find someone though and can avoid recklessness. Even if recklessness can be quite entertaining. xd

My guild is in permanent inactive mode >.>; Both of them. I don't really think I can manage a guild very well. Apparently I suck at it. Anyway, at least you looked at my post. Most of my role-plays are once a day, but it isn't difficult to please me. xD I'll stick around until it's active again.

Well, me and Kits are generally consistently here (as it's Kits guild I would hope so on her part xd ), I think managing a guild would probably be hard. It's just hard to find out how to attract the correct demographic and then to keep them. When some people become inactive others go poof, and when they come back the fact that most everyone else is gone keeps them away.

Anyhow after my assessments are completed (they are due January 19th, so it's still over a month of time there) I could try and help you out on the rp front if nobody else has jumped in, maybe. Fair warning I don't have tons of rp experience. And again Malik and Mariku aren't my cup of tea, and I can't say I'm overly fond of OCs as main characters, but I do also like a challenge. So I'd be perfectly susceptible to playing something I don't at all like, focusing on just trying to move a story and get in character. Actually most of the characters I've played have not been characters I like - Grandpa, Rebecca, Honda - yet I've had a great deal of fun playing them anyhow.

Up until the rp I'm doing with Kits I haven't had much luck with role-playing. My ex-best friend kept wanting to start things up and we never did because she was always busy freaking out about something. We finally got a group role play going but then she broke up with her girlfriend who was (in addition to a couple of her friends) part of it and while it had been great fun, and me and another friend kept it going on the side for awhile, it just eventually died. It's in a YGO role-play guild that also completely died. Then there was a group role-play in here that was mainly crack, but too many people in it kept popping off and it just became too stilted. It has the freedom to start up again if anyone shows up though, it is a good drop in and out platform, it's just someone has to drop in, and eventually it just wound up being Kits and I with our characters constantly bickering. However this rp has been going pretty well, suffering momentary pauses when school or work kills one or both of us, and I've been well pleased. I'd definitely like to try more and different rps eventually, just for now I'd probably frustrate the heck out of you because I wouldn't be able to prioritize a new rp. While I like a challenge I do know I'll be much more likely to keep putting off playing characters I don't like in a setting that's not necessarily my cup of tea when extremely busy.

But I do hope you stick around and that you find things you like about this guild.

If we do start an RP (eventually), then I hope you enjoy it. I'd much rather come up with a plot that doesn't involve my obnoxious usage of non-canon characters. Although, there's no telling if I'd be busy around that time or not. I only signed up for two classes next semester. Three would have probably been okay but the university made me sign up for a lab with it this semester. Stupid university.

I've played Atemu, Yuugi, Kaiba, Jounouchi, and Mai. I'm not good at playing males and in my personal opinion, no one in the series is really right for Malik or Mariku.

Maybe it'll become more active. I hope someone will answer my RP request. XD

I shall hope someone answers you too. There was a fairly big Malik fan in here but she tends to get swept up and busy and vanishes, I'm friends with her elsewhere and could prod her back for awhile, but generally if she's not around she's probably going to be too busy to stick around quite long anyhow.

Two courses doesn't seem like a lot at the undergrad level, I was usually taking 4 - 6 and working 30 hours, are you a full time student?

I've played Pegasus, Rebecca, Sugoroku, Seto, Ryuzaki and Hiroto thus far. Also in the rp where I'm currently Seto and Hiroto I've been playing an evil spirit (guess that's kind of an OC but it's more presence than interactive character) and Jounouchi's father (whose also a lot of invention because there is only so much to go off of canon). I have other characters assigned in that rp but thus far none have come up. There was a 4th rp (that I almost did, which was actually almost my first, but it fell apart before it started, I was supposed to be Seto and Ryuzaki in that as well. I probably prefer to play males than females but I don't think I particularly mind either way.
