Naka glided in on his skateboard and flipped into a 50-50 grind on his blind deck over the handrail. he sees hiko's clumsy self talking to another new student and decide to try and make a new friend. "nice wipeout hiko" he joked as he skidded to a stop. "and who might this be? a newbie like myself?" he asked reffering to shiro.

Hiko turned around to see Naka on his skateboard as he came up behind her, sticking her tongue out at his remark. She quickly began smiling again, though, waving cheerfully as he arrived on the scene.
"Hey, this isn't as easy as it looks..." she said, pointing at the weights tied around her rollerblades. "Skating with all this weight is tough!"
Turning back to Shiro, she held out her hand toward him by way of introduction, gesturing toward Naka with the other.
"Naka, this is Shiro. He just transferred in today. Shiro, this is Naka!"

"I'm sure the carnival was alot of fun," Shiro was slightly unprepared for the round of questions Hikaru fired at him, but remained calm and composed, "I specialize in the martial arts, but it was my Father's idea to send me here," he replied, trying not to give away too much information about himself. After Naka zoomed onto the scene, and Hiko introduced them to each other, he nodded in Naka's direction, "Please to meet you."
"HIKO-CHAN!" Alex was about ten yards away from them when she called out, "What are you doing?" She quickly jogged over to the growing group and smiled, carefully holding Kimmy- her enchanted cat doll- in her arms, "Helping out the new kids?" she asked, glancing between her and Naka.

"Alex!" Hiko smiled, waving to her friend as she approached the scene. As the group gathered around her grew, so did her smile, and she seemed perfectly content to introduce everyone around and have them all be friends.
"You're just in time to meet some new friends of mine!" she said, gesturing toward Naka and Shiro. "This is Naka, and this is Shiro," she said, pointing at each of them in turn. "Naka just recently transferred here too, and Shiro actually just got here today. Naka, Shiro, this is Alex. She's one of my first friends since I came here!"
Hikaru beamed happily, glad to have the chance to link her friends together into one big happy group.

Shiro was silent for a moment before he finally spoke up, "Pleased to meet you, Miss Alex," he stared at her carefully, his eyes reveiling a sense of interest. He knew this girl, but did she remember him? Realizing he had forgotten keep his emotions in check, he quickly stood up straight and his eyes returned to their normally void, and emotionless selves.
"Nice to meet you, Naka. Nice to meet you, Shiro," Alex smiled cheerfully and Kimmy even mewed a big hello, "Hikaru, I'm so excited about the upcoming play, aren't you?" she asked, glad that they both got to be ushers. And oddly enough, the only ones, "I've even gotten Kimmy a little suit to dress up in, she'll be coming with me to help out."
Shiro listened to the two girls chatter away, but something in his gut told him to hurry up and leave. He stood there in awkward silence, unable to get his feet to move him towards the dorms.

Hiko glanced over to Shiro for a moment, halfway noticing the awkward silence after she introduced Alex. Did the two of them already know each other? Maybe Shiro was just shy around girls or something... or maybe he thought she was cute! She smiled back at Shiro before smiling over to Alex as she began talking about the play, and nodded.
"Yeah! I'm glad you signed up to be an usher too! I wasn't gonna get involved at first - plays and stuff aren't really my thing - but I saw Tek was signed up for special effects, and you gotta support your friends, right? Plus, we get in for free, so that's good too, right?"
She giggled a little, playfully scratching at Kimmy's head as Alex mentioned the adorable little suit she'd gotten for her.
"Isn't that great, Kimmy? You'll get to see the play for free too!"

"I know what you mean. Their still pretty cool to watch, though- especially when your more familiar with the storyline," Alex giggled and stared down at the mewing Kimmy, evidently the little doll adored getting attention from Hikaru.
Shiro finally built up his willpower and waved to each of the three, muttered a 'goodbye' and swiftly walked towards the dorms. His eyes flickered once more and he lowered his head to hide the blush that was forming on his face.
"What's bugging him?" Alex asked, referring to Shiro's sudden exit, and Kimmy seemed to get quiet all of the sudden, "What's the matter..?" she looked down at the enchanted doll as she curled up close.
(( I've gotta go. There's a thunderstorm outside and Papa says it's dangerous to be on. Sorry! sweatdrop ))

Aly lands behind a bush and folds her wings as she straitens up and braids her hair back again. She was tired of playing the quiet girl who sat in a corner without friends. Time to start getting involved with this place before that quiet impression was perminant. Aly takes a breath, then steps out from behind the bush and looks around for anybody she might make friends with.

Naka, after waving goodbye to the nervous shiro, noticed a timid looking girl in front of the bushes and decides to make yet another friend. "hey hiko! looks like another friend to be made over by the bushes." he said with a smile and skated over to aly.
"hi, how are you today miss" naka said to aly. "im Nakashima but you can call me Naka, whats your name." he asked.

Aly blinks in surprise at the sudden appearance of somebody without her even doing anything. "Um hello... My name's Aly." Aly then smiles and holds out a hand to shake. "Nice to meet you Naka." She says, warming up rather quickly at the prospect of finally getting to talk to people. She should have thought of the front gates sooner.

naka greets the hand shake with a like response. "well it's nice to meet you as well. how long have you been around at ria?" he asked as he pushed his hair to the side in order to get a better look at her. "wings?! are you angelic?"he asked interested in her story.

Wow, so many questions. Aly couldn't help thinking as her mind tried to think up an answer to both at once. After a moment Aly settles on doing it in the order asked. "I've been at Ria maybe a week at most..." Aly then smiles and lets her white glossy wings open then close slightly. "And no... I'm not quite an angel, at least not how you think of them. I'm not very religious for one, and for another most people become elevated to angel status after being dead. I think my mom called us Avians." She says, shrugging. "What about you?"

"well lets see..." Naka began. "ive been here for about 3 days, made a few friends since i got here, and i love this place so far. as for my 'species' im just plain human. im here studying alchemy and stealth tactics, in fact i just came from a stealth class. being an avian must have some perks,ive herd of avians but never had the pleasure to meet one yet so this is just so cool! so what are you studying?" he asked.

"Wow, that sounds like a lot more interesting junk then what I've been doing. I've just been wandering around, seeing what there is to see." Aly says shrugging. Her ears turned slightly red from his interest in her race, but luckly her silvery blond hair hid that from sight. "Oh and I'm studying air and lightning manipulation. If I study enough I'll be capable of controling all types of weather." She says smiling. She really loved her powers, and coupled with the fact that she had wings, wind powers were often extremely useful.

Naka, amazed at aly's powers said: "OMG!! those are perfect for you!. i myself can manipulate lighting to some extend because being an alchemist, and a man experienced with chemistry, i can alter the molecular makeup of the air creating lightning. oh im sorry im babbling on about chem..." he laughed and blushed slightly.
