Why all her adventures in those booths ended in embarrassing failures? Heidla mused in a fit of self-hatred. And weren't they interchangeable? Why in addition to having the necessity of embarrassing herself at the flower booth, she now missed all the good balloons and kept hitting the wrong ones? She felt misery and self-pity. She definitely needed a consolation prize.

BOOM BOOM BOOM A consolation prize... Even the thought of it brought strength to Heidla, and she elegantly hit three rose balloons in a row. Now, that was a mastery trick! She smiled and looked around: did anyone see how cool she was?
After all, it was so much fun.
Winning, that is.

Now, from being all black and hateful she was all rosey and cheeky and smiling.

BOOM BOOM BOOM The balloons weren't an easy target. They were floating in the air, following the tiniest wind streams, and thought the colours of "friend" and "foe" hearts were different, the shape was exactly the same, and that didn't really help Eisheth to be accurate.

BOOM BOOM BOOM Terra really didn't seem to understand this game. This time the only ones she hit were the heartless ones. But they were so convenient with their red spot in the middle! They were easier to hit!

When he opened his eyes, Gabby saw a giant gold heart in his hands, and he stared at it for a second. It was a Scarentine's Day card. A hand made one, from that booth he'd seen as they passed, and it was all pretty and ghouly and sweet. And suddenly, he realized Sibyl hadn't abandoned him at all. She'd just gone to make him something.. really nice. It was a relief. More of a relief than he expected it to be. He surged forward and gave her a great big hug, before handing her the leash with a grin. "You wait here." He demanded, pinching her cheek before pushing himself off to run away.

BOOM BOOM BOOM YAY! He was happy! Sibyl's heart swelled with joy as she was hugged, giggling and eagerly returning the gesture. Yay hugs! Gabriel never hugged her! Progress! That chat had said to keep at it. She looked awestruck by the grin he was giving her; it wasn't a frown or a glare or even a smirk, it was an actual smile. Sibyl took the leash, squeaking as she was pinched and watching Gabriel run off. Where was he going..? "Hm...wanna throw darts, Mr. P?" Sibyl helped the penguin stand. It squawked unhappily. "Not at you, I promise." And a Sibyl always kept her promises. She didn't do very well throwing the darts. Oops.. Balloons Hit: Score Total: 1
