Oh oh oh, don't forget Clavy's idea of a little Staffie Spotlight-esque thing where we have RL pics and a short bio! It would mark us as wonderfully uber people. xd

Haha, very well! A bit of uber-ness never hurt anyone, lol. wink Are we including this section for this month's issue? And will we be writing our own bios?

Oh but that would be quite fun!!!

Well, we had originally planned for this month to be the anecdote issue or something along those lines.

Your call.

Oh, and what would be our special issue next month? Oh oh oh, a back to school thing, seeing as how it's Semptember? Hmmm....maybe a moving thing, for people who are 'new-kids-on-the-blocks'? Hmm....

Hmm, do we have any anecdotes written at the moment? Why don't we stick to that for now and save the Spotlight for the next issue?

Hehehe, now that you mention it, I happen to know someone who could write a little something about going back to school as a NKOTB... *wiggles eyebrows*

As a side note, I've decided that Dear Staffies is a better title than Readers Spotlight. All in favor...feed me a cookie! Or come up with something better, please! sweatdrop

Ooh, new contest idea! We don't have to start this anytime soon, but I just wanted to toss it out there so I don't forget later! sweatdrop (Wah, it's hard having a 91-year-old brain in this 19-year-old body!)

Here goes: Write a short story that only involves a dialogue between two characters. No descriptions, sentences, or prose may be used outside of the conversation. You cannot even use dialogue openers such as "he said" or "she whispered," etc. Readers must be able to read between the lines and distinguish the characters and plot by themselves. Aside from these restrictions, any genre or length of writing will be accepted!

What say y'all to this?

Melikes. 'Twould be quite a challenge, and bring in new readers.

*nods*

Good, quite good.

Also, the only thing I'm worried about with the whole anecdote thing, is most will come from chain emails that most people don't read/enjoy having in their inbox. What if they find it irritating in the Press too? confused

And IRL anecdote wise, we've gotten one so far, it's in the Mounds.

Hmm. Well, as long as they're clever and entertaining, I don't think that readers will be able to tell! Hehehe, it'll be our dirty little secret. ninja Anywho, should I include the anecdotes under Beyond the Box, or did you guys want to put it under something else?

*off to teh Mounds* Tra~lalalala...or something along those lines, lol. sweatdrop

I say, we should delete old posts in the Mounds that have been there since the beginning!

Ack, The Perfect One strikes again! And I just got back too, lol. Anyway, I checked the first page of HQ and I saw that you guys set the pablication date on the 30th! Sorry for not noticing that sooner. I'll make the changes to our li'l to do list of doom right now!

P.S. Yes, the energy level has risen a bit, I admit! sweatdrop I get a little too excited about this sometimes, but that's you guys are here for, right? Throw a couple apples my way if I step out of line, hehehe...

*cracks whip* Mahaha! Long live the 'zine! pirate

I've just revised the first post of HQ. Check it out on page one!

Also, here's an idea... Why don't we post The Mound in monthly rotations? This way we won't have to worry about wading through all the backlog in the future? Once the issue's published, we can delete that thread and post a new one. Just a thought! wink
