So close to touching freedom, then I hear the guards call my name...
Angela arrived to English late, stepping in quietly. "I apologize for being late," she said. "I was held up in the library." Ugh. Bad choice of words. The moment she said 'held' she remembered Tarik hugging her, which made her face go red, which made her start glowing and...ugh.
She just ducked her head and made a beeline for her desk, trying to avoid looking at anyone. She wondered what she missed but she was not about to ask. She was just going to sit down and draw as little attention to herself as a glowing person with a limp, a bad arm and snow-white hair could possibly draw. After all, amongst the completely bland and not at all strange and unique student body of Rosentale, Angela most definitely stood out awkwardly.
It would have made her feel alienated but somehow the glowing ghost in the hall, the girl who could turn into a boy and silver haired English teacher all helped put her at ease. Somewhat. Now if only there was someone else who was injured as badly or worse than she was so people would stop staring and wondering what had happened to her!You can say it one more time, what you don't like,

 Severin Novaire "Literature is complex and one really has to think to understand it."________________________Severin was glad to know that at least a few people read the reading. Well, a movie didn't sound like a half bad idea, but the thing is that Severin didn't have any movies that he could use and he had no idea where to find one. He could always go look over the weekend, but a movie wasn't happening today. "The movie can come later, I guess. It depends on the results of the quiz which all of you will be taking now. It's all on the first act."
"When you're done with the quiz, we'll move on to the class discussion. If there was anything you didn't understand about the play, class discussion would be the best time to ask." Severin explained as he went to his desk and searched for the quizzes. When he found them, he started to pass them out.
When Angela came into the classroom, he was a bit surprised to see her since he would assume she would be in the infirmary resting all day. Well it was her choice to come to class. "Well, at least you made it. Were you able to read Act I of Hamlet? If not, you can just... uh... read it for now. We're having a quiz on it at the moment. If you want to take it, you may." ________________________ "The beauty of it is that literature never hits me if I misunderstand. "

  Misaki Shinonome ______________________________ Misaki was late. Obviously. She intended to skip battle strategy since she was not in the best condition to participate in it, but she didn't intend to skip her other classes. But in the end she still slept in and getting herself prepared took a lot of time and caused her a lot of pain. She avoided using her right shoulder as much as possible and she kept her daggers hidden in her clothes and she had to be very careful about it.
She entered the classroom just in time for the quiz. Misaki did the reading, but it was some time ago and she was certain that she had forgotten everything but she would do what she could for the quiz. Professor Novaire glanced at her and asked her if she did the reading and she gave a nod. She settled in a seat beside Angela who seemed to be in worse shape than Misaki was. How in the world did that happen again?
But it was time to take the quiz and Misaki would take it and do her best.
((Misaki skips this class to much. XD Sorry for double posting, but I needed to bring her in some how.))______________________________

Movies were always better and Hana loved them during her student days and that wasn't very long ago, but it will be after a few years from now! Of course pop quiz was happening. "Good luck on the quiz, guys!" Hana said to the students with a friendly grin so she could at least cheer people up or something. Hana retreated to the desk and started working on organizing the desk.
It was seriously a mess! Look at this. There was crap all over the place. Hana wasn't the best organizer in the world, but she could definitely do this. She started piling paper and there was a 'not sure where to put' pile as well. She'll let Severin handle those.
Hana wondered if she could also participate in the class discussion. After all, she was just the aide, but she still remembered a thing or two about Hamlet. "I did the reading," Angela said. "Of course, I did hit my head during that little weekend incident so if I get a low score, let's just blame that, shall we?" She attempted a weary smile because she didn't want him to know she was totally onto him and knew he was one of the people responsible!
Though, he'd also killed the monster. Which was just confusing.
Ugh. She wasn't thinking about this right now. She was thinking about Hamlet. She shot Misaki a wave, wondering how she was feeling. They were quite the pair weren't they. Angela's left arm was injured (thanks to the stupid teacher to tried to bite it off) and Misaki's right arm was injured. Together, they had a pair of working arms. Maybe they should just try to stick together and help each other with any two handed tasks.
Nah. that would just be awkward.You can say it one more time, what you don't like,

Kasie couldn't help but grin at Penelope. Awesome! A companion in liking boys. Well, it seemed to be like she was more crushing on actors, but it still counted. "Well, we better do good on that quiz then if we want to watch hot guys on screen." She snickered out.
She noticed two late arrivals, and wow, er.... "Angela, Misaki w-what happened? You guys look really... bad. I mean, not in that way because you two never really do since you guys are pretty and all, but I just mean that you guys look like a train crashed into you two. No offense. Actually, this doesn't sound good no matter how I try to word it, so I'll just stop talking." Attacking them with worry now wasn't such a good idea. Later was perfect though! Angela and Misaki will definitely be victims of her pestering. In the meantime, she was just going to disappear and get to work on that quiz before she got distracted again.

Penelope Mikelovitch  Penelope blushed red "Wh-what? N-no! I just meant... I mean I wasn't implying that... It's just... a really good adaptation!" She stammered, turning and staring at her hands in embarrassment. Well that was a really convincing denial. Thank goodness that Professor Novaire was passing out... tests... tests. She had a horrible feeling that she was going to flunk miserably, actually, seeing as she hadn't actually been able to... decipher any of the shakespearean code. Funny, considering her accent.
Misaki was in this class? Penelope couldn't recall ever seeing her in english before... Maybe she had just transferred in? It sort of bothered her that so many of her classmates, (and... friends? She considered them friends) seemed to be so severely injured. Obviously she had seen that they were both injured already, but Kasie's exclamation made her give the whole situation a second thought... a second thought that made the space between her eyebrows crease in worry, though it really looked like worry for the test she was about to take, seeing as that was what she was currently looking at...

Ooo. A teacher aide. "Hello miss Hana.. I'm Susan" Susan said to Hana with a big smile on her face. Susan looked at Penelope as she rushed into the classroom. SHe looked, flustered. Strange. Then Kasie begun to speak. Susan gave her a wide smile then took out her reading of hamlet. "I've read it" she said.
David Tennant. Penelope was red. Naw. She liked this actor it seemed. Susan looked at the test that was placed infront of her. Sigh. Susan got out a pen and looked around the classroom. Then looked at Penelope. "You dont need to be embarassed for liking an actor Penelope! It's fine, he is a very good actor. Dont be embrassed" Susan said to Penelope and gave her a comforting smile.

Penelope Mikelovitch Penelope broke her pencil lead from pushing on the paper too hard. "I don't! I mean I'm not! I mean... I mean... I'm finished!" She stood and quickly made her way to Professor Novaire's Desk. The bell had just rung, and she. Was. GONE. There had been way too much awkward for her already today, and she wasn't about to stick around to become the victim of any more.

 Veith finished up the quiz and turned it in. It wasn't so bad, but he probably didn't do it perfectly which would bother him later, but given all the distractions, he wasn't able to read as much as he wanted. Well, nothing was stopping him now and now that the planning and stuff was over, he had free time.
So Veith was definitely going to go to the library and read. Veith glanced at Misaki and Angela. They weren't a complete mess, but they had gotten hurt and kidnapped by Voldemort. He felt guilty. There was guilt and he hated it. ARG. It wasn't Veith's fault that they were kidnapped. It wasn't his fault that they were hanging out in places where they could get kidnapped. Or anything. Or something. Screw this. Veith is going to the library. He couldn't face them.
Not because he was guilty. Oh no. It was because... because... they were angry people. Or anything. Or something.

Severin Novaire "Literature is complex and one really has to think to understand it."________________________It was time for lunch. Severin should probably go get that ice. He had one more class left and then he was free to do as he pleased. He glanced at Hana who was still in the classroom as the students were filing out to go do whatever students do at lunch whether it be eat or chat the whole period away.
"Hana? Are you going to go eat lunch too? You ought to take a break." Severin said to her. After all, he didn't want to make it look like he was overworking his aide. "I think I might go out and look for that movie since you got the class all psyched up about it." Although Severin preferred to watch the movie after the book was read, but he figured that if he found a movie that went closely to the book they were reading, then it'd make it easier for the students to follow along. And for homework, he'll just have them answer the discussion questions.
Severin went to his desk to see all the piles of paper. Well... now that he had piles of paper, he wondered what to do with them and where to put them. ________________________ "The beauty of it is that literature never hits me if I misunderstand. "

"Have a nice day!" Hana called out but it was pointless since late was very late and no one probably heard her. She glanced at Severin when he started to talk to her. Hana hesitated.
"Er... I'm not so hungry. I can make do without lunch." Hana said with a grin. After all, she was on a diet and stuff since she felt like she had been gaining wait recently. "But I'll take the break and probably go stalking-- erm, socializing with people."
She blinked when he started talking about finding the movie. "Oh! Leave that to me! I think I know where to find it! I was the one who suggested it so I might as well do it. You can go do teacher work since teachers always seem busy and stuff. I mean, you have quizzes to grade, right?" Hana said. "Oh and these are the piles. This pile here are the ones I wasn't sure where to put so I just stuck them here. Sure it kind of... gives you some work, but at least it's less work if you had to do it alone?"
"But Severin. You should assign parts to the students. I think we might have to give some students double parts since we might not have enough, but back when I did it, it was fun. I mean, I played Ophelia and I had a lot of fun doing it!" Hana added. "I'm sure if the students acted out the characters, they could have a feel of how the characters in the play felt and it could help them with analyzing scenes. Oh... but-but-but I'm just talking here. You don't have to listen to me. "And thank you for your help." He inspected the piles and they weren't that bad. She was right. It would save him a lot of work later. Severin dropped the quizzes on his desk to go take a look at them later. He actually could see the desk for once and not see random paper everywhere.
He glanced at Hana when she talked about assigning parts. It didn't sound half bad, but it was a hassle because most likely the students wouldn't care for something like that. When he was a student, he hated reading out loud... well, when he was able to see, that was the case. When he was blind, it just made him hate it even more because he couldn't do it.
"Oh? So you were Ophelia? Well, how fitting. You were the female lead. It must have been fun." Severin said sarcastically. Yes. Fun acting like a foolish woman who eventually fell to insanity. "I'll consider it. The movie or a read aloud. I think the students would prefer the movie though." ________________________ "The beauty of it is that literature never hits me if I misunderstand. "
