Oh how she'd wanted to slam her knee into the man's chin, maybe break it, maybe have him bite his tongue and choke on his own blood. Fabulously appealing ideas, all of them, but that wasn't what happened. Her leg moved up towards him, but he flung himself at her before she could even react, strong arms wrapping around her and holding her against him with surprising force. It startled her, and she automatically jerked, but too late to free herself. He had her trapped, and she could do nothing by struggle and shriek at him to let her go. Then he spoke, and she quieted, body and voice, to stare down at him with wide, hazel eyes. Chest heaving with exertion from her attack at him, the frustration and pure anger she felt towards him. Perhaps it was watching her friends die, or perhaps the influence of the dark mirror, but there was nothing in her but hate for the squire. And still, something got through the fury, and she tensed, fingers curling into fists at her sides where he'd trapped them. Pale lids slamming shut against the logic him his words. "No," she whispered, lips drawing back from gritting teeth. "No, no no!" Each word was louder then the last until she was screaming it at him. She didn't hear the approach of Valhalla, not about her own yelling, and when Camelot released her suddenly to throw his hand up in her defense she stumbled. For a moment she just stared at him, unsure what to do, and then he started shouting out orders to the others that were against them, advising them to attack the beast, and the girl snapped. Stepping forward she brought her arm up across her own chest and brought it down hard in a sweeping arch, the back of her hand aimed for the side of his head. "Shut up!" He talked to much..

Sailor Thisbe was not the sturdiest of fighters, not in the slightest. She was a dancer, though, and used that bit of nimbleness to her advantage.
It didn't work out quite as she had intended, though.
As Sailor Thisbe made to leap into the air to avoid the tail she forgot one important thing. Boots. While her boots may have made a rather incredible fashion statement they weren't exactly the most functional of shoes. The tail caught one of her boots in the air, sending her flying right back in the direction Sugilite had rolled in. Counter productive? Check.

"Naica!" Valhalla called, overjoyed to see him alive and in one piece for the time being at least. With their combined efforts they were able to break the youma's claw, but then it decided to attack.
He didn't have enough time to get out of the way and was knocked off his feet and landed several yards away with a groan. Well, that didn't really go according to plan, but at least they were able to damage the thing, right? "Are you okay??" he called over to Naica, before scrambling to his feet to see if he was hurt or anything. s**t, they needed to regroup.
"Come on, the others are over here," he said, reaching out to offer a hand to his friend.

Ganymede had one moment where he felt like the most awesome person in the world, where all his fears and doubts magically went away because he experienced one of those rare moments of success and thoughts of "yes, I can do this," when it all went away in an instant. Only seconds after the rock struck its mark and burst the eye, Ganymede was splattered with warm, disgusting tar.
He was suddenly very glad he'd had his mouth closed.
"Son of a b***h," he swore, looking down at himself and the mess all over him.
He could only be glad it wasn't hot.
He glanced to the side as he heard Sessrumnir speaking to him. Under other circumstances, he might have smiled to see him alive and well -- he hardly looked hurt at all, the lucky b*****d -- but in the current situation he couldn't manage anything more than a grimace. "Considering a lot of them have been popping up as this has been going on, I can't blame them for wanting to take it slow and focus on one thing at a time. The rest of us can take care of everything else."
He could hardly believe he was defending them, but he'd been new once, too.
His attention was pulled away from the page as Pasiphae rushed away toward the youma's tail, and Ganymede gaped and thought he might have had another heart-attack, and barely even realized what he was doing until he was sprinting after her. "Pasiphae, this is crazy! You are not the senshi of madness, so what do you think you're doing!" He'd always thought the crazy stunts were more Kallichore's job.
Even so, now that they were close enough... might as well try, right?
Ganymede picked up the sharpest rock he could find and joined Pasiphae in striking at the giant youma's lashing tail, all the while trying his best to avoid it as it swung around and struck out at people, which was difficult up close, sure, but they could still jump over it if they needed to and kept paying attention.

Her name had come from somewhere close; from someone familiar enough that it caused her to pause, to lose track of what she had been doing for just enough time to get distracted. Stormy eyes drifted around quickly and then narrowed darkly as they caught sight of the young man that had almost taken her... No, the young man that she had almost given herself over to. "Not a chance. I know what side of the line I stand on." Her own darkness was still there, but somewhere in it she had found enough light to press on. She had pulled herself out of the slump that he had least seen her in and the proof could be seen glimmering defiantly in her eyes. Foolishly not realizing that he too had changed; that he had taken on more power than he had possessed the last time, Corvus turned her back to the General-King, aiming a second round of her attack in the same direction as her first; hoping to drive her point home.

If the Great One could be likened to a console game boss, then Leo's bright beam attack was a proper light arrow straight in its face. The great beast outright shrieked in pain at the magic, the sound grating and deafening, and the laser shot straight through its jawbone and made a smoking exit wound out the other side of its skull. The black bone began to crumble in the wake of the attack, some pieces hurtling to the ground and causing the road to quake from the impact. What was left of the jaw hung slack and loosely from its skull, leaving the youma looking in a constant state of shock as a result. HP REMAINING: 124

Super Sailor Magellan had been at the back, somehow, when the battle began. She wasn't protecting Chronos, no -- sorry, Zodiacs, but since you seemed to be so intent on that, she wasn't going to go busting her a** to help you out, either -- and fighting her way to the front wasn't exactly as easy as she would have hoped. By the time she got to the front lines, she could see where the damn thing was hurting, and she once again fervently wished for a more offensive attack.
Still, her attack would be useful, if only that it could provide her a shield of shorts for a time.
Slapping her hands together as hard as she could, she screamed, "Powder Puff!" Not really intimidating, no, but the powder that came pouring from the point of contact between her hands was sparkling, glittery, and very difficult to breathe in. She took a split second to mentally apologize to any allies around -- yeah, her powder was s**t for everyone else -- but didn't waste time after that.
She had a ******** youma to thrash, and this was her specialty. (Becoming her specialty.) Picking up a smallish, narrow piece of rubble from the ground, she hoisted it over her shoulder like a baseball bat and ran at the youma, using all her strength to wield it like a club and bring it cracking down on the youma's tail.
Effective? Who the hell knew. She was mostly just hoping she didn't get bitchslapped into space for her move.
No such luck: other people were attacking it too, and moments after she landed her hit, Magellan's feet were swept out from under her and she went skidding away across the battlefield.
((OOC: Magellan's powder doesn't travel with her! So there's a little powdery spot on the battlefield, but it's not moving and it's already thinning out.))

Camelot was too distracted to see the hit coming. Or maybe he simply knew it was pointless to dodge. Something held him still and her hand smacked him hard in the head, making him stumble again. Everything was spinning and the floor seemed to twist under him as if the throw him off. He remained upright, though, struggling through, feeling warm blood running down from a wound on his head that had been reopened by the blows so far.
He looked at Navi, green eyes focusing on her strained, miserable face. He felt a stab of guilt, of pain, for her sake. Her story, her life. She was suffering as much as anyone else, though she called herself his enemy. She wanted to hurt him.
All he wanted to do was save her.
Something tugged him, like an invisible string in the back of his mind. He turned his head only for a second to see his shield spiraling away from the youma and into the crowd. He needed to get to it. It was his only true defense, though his words had impact. He could not just call on everyone to attack the youma: he had to fight as well.
They had to be united.
He looked at Navi again and grimaced.
"You don't have to believe me, but I am fighting for you. Be my enemy if you have to be, but I won't be yours. Not yet. Not ever. I did not kill your friends, I did not pour chaos into you. But whatever I can do to make this right, I will. Forgive me."
He spoke slowly at those last two words, then he ran from her and Valhalla, charging after his shield with a reserve of strength and energy he hadn't known how to tap into before. What would be accomplished when the monster fell? As he had told her, as he told himself, fighting and killing would never bring the lost back. Was his cause any different then hers, just because his monster was a dragon?
He didn't know. He let instinct take him once again. He nearly fell when the road quaked violently, and another impact of falling monster jaw took him from his feet. He hit the ground hard on his knees and took a deep breath.
Looking up, he saw his shield laying not too far away.

Sugilite felt the girl land heavily beside her, as she bounced upright like a rubber ball. Twirling sharply on one foot, she kicked out at the downed senshi, heel first. It was mainly to try and stop the other girl rising after her, rather than a malicious act. She had to get to the youma, to protect it, she could hear it howling as it was being shaken apart. She didn't have time for this, for a standoff with a senshi. She could do that any time she wanted back in Destiny City. Not looking to see what the other girl did next, she ran towards the Great Youma.

Draconis gasped as a sinkhole formed around Nemisis. What kind of negaverser had that sort of power? That was just ... that was ... Could they all do that?
She looked at Howlite with a newfound wariness. If she had that power though ... why hadn't she used it before? Maybe they all had it, but could only use it at certain times. Maybe the beast had caused it- it was still making quite a ruckus after all. Maybe it was just a fluke and the surrounding was coming apart.
Draconis took a few wary steps back. She had gained a new cautiousness, something she had never possessed in these fights before.
Draconis scrounged for words, any sort of words that would insult and bicker with Howlite, but none came. She just stood there gaping with an idiot look on her face.
Luckily, she didn't have to come up with any words. The ground suddenly shook and Draconis staggered to the ground. Heels were fashionable, but not suited for the ground shaking like this. A chunk of the beast hit her shoulder, and she let out a shout of pain.

Nemesis couldn't fathom how many people were on her, all she knew was that they were there, and they were proving to be ******** annoying. That she was in real danger didn't occur to her, her ego was inflated enough that she believed she could handle anything that was sent her way. Some stupid Negaversers didn't stand a chance against her. She was Eternal Sailor Nemesis, the Sailor Soldier of Decay, a hardened, unrelenting fighter. She had been a senshi for far too long to allow herself to get killed by just a small group of Negaverses. She could not see, but that didn't stop her from trying to grab at anything that was within her range. Nemesis could feel the power of her eternal attack fading, and even that did not stop her.
So, she wasn't going to be able to rot someone's face off, but that didn't mean she couldn't beat it in. She was definitely going to beat someone to a bloody pulp. She was pissed enough for it. A sharp kick to her stomach knocked the air out of her, and she was sent tumbling back from the group. It wasn't terribly far, only a few feet or so, but far enough so that Benitoite's attack appeared only underneath her feet. She was free of the frustrating grasps of Kestrel and Howlite, but as her vision cleared she found herself in another mess.
Nemesis' vision was clearing, and she screamed. It wasn't a scream of pain, though she felt a good deal of it, but a scream of anger. It wasn't a battle cry, just one pure note of unhindered rage. ******** not killing people. She'd remember that she had promised herself not do to that later. She was going to rip someone's head off their shoulders the moment she freed herself from the sink hole. It tugged at her feet, making her movement slowed nearly to a crawl. It had not helped that she was laying down to begin with. The time it was taking her to free herself was also time she was taking to pinpoint her target.
Howlite seemed preoccupied with another senshi, but Kestrel was open. Kestrel was her's. Alunite's attack had aided him and Benitoite in the simple way that she had not seen them as her attackers. She had seen Howlite and Kestrel. Payback was coming. What she lacked in planning and thinking skills, she made up for in pure fighting ability. It was what she was good at, and she was charging at Kestrel now with the experience of a fighter. Kestrel would have seen it coming, but Nemesis did not give a ******** aimed a blatant and furious punch to the girl's face.

When Valhalla came for him, he smiled, if only a bit, trough he turned back to a grimace of pain soon enough.
As the jupiter page got closer, through, something became quickly apparent.
Naica was not, in fact, okay. There was fresh blood on his uniform and...
His crystal arm was bent at an angle that simply couldn't be natural.
"I..." He struggled, taking Valhalla's hand with his good arm. "I n-need to get out of here." He managed through clenched teeth, tears pooling in his eyes.
Beginner's luck had run out... But they'd broken the claw, right ?
It wasn't all a waste.

((DMC's! If you've got a new one and you need a kitty to give you your name and power still quote me. I'll send Dahlia your way ASAP! :3 ))
The call to action was enough to draw the new page after her other companions, helping to block and protect the princess. How exactly they were supposed to protect her she wasn't certain.. but she had always felt more at ease when someone else was calling the shots.
The sudden and deadly attack from Wolframite brought forth a mighty squeak from Tiananmen, raising her hourglass as if it would shield her from the daggers. Her heart clenched as Peklo squealed in pain after being hit. How were they supposed to fight that!? She just...
Terrified she nonetheless held her ground, for lack of better plans, trying her best to use her hourglass as a shield.
Polaris had stayed by the wall.. so she had been there when the breach occurred, though.. she was hardly ready for it. She had barely slept.. and was already tired from the battle before. It had taken her time to sway up, searching the area for a weapon.
She never found one, and in the end she took a leap of fate, lifting her hand and focusing on the monster's chest. "Magnetic field!" Hopefully there would be some metal in the area around her, and if so it'd heed her call and fly at the monster.

All the attacks on its tail was starting to become one hell of an annoyance. Not that it was too much of a hindrance. The Great One had been swarmed by stupid, foolish ants of human opponents before, and it had a trick up its sleeve to ensure they'd regret it. The youma's tail became slick with a foul, oily, sticky substance of some kind... and anyone who had been attacking it would find themselves superglued to the object of their onslaughts. ROLL A D8 TO GET UNSTUCK!!You are stuck untill you roll a 5 or greater. You may make an escape attempt every five minutes! He heard a familier voice in the crowd and tried not to shiver. He had hoped that someone had been able to kill the stupid short Negaverser but his hope was in vain. He would have to ask though what connection he had to Corvus though.
"You stay away from her!" He yelled at Zinkenite. He knew what the b*****d could do, still vividly remembering the broken ribs, and didn't want him anywhere near his cousin.
Keeping an eye on the now General-King, though the power level was unknown to him, he ducked beside his cousin and swung his impromptu bat at the creature's flank.
