baha. I love that I'm Ariel now :3
But yes. I actually have two at the moment, the one I'm trying to quit is I work at LA Fitness Health club. I work in the kid's club as a babysitter.I actually love kids but being in a room with about twenty five of them, ranging from 3 months to 12 years, with no control over them is exhausting.
And I have coworkers, but they do NOTHING. JUST PAINTING THEIR NAILS WHILE KIDS RUN WILD!!!!11!! /rant]
sweatdrop but yes. Anyways. My other job is in retail at Kirkland's for the holidays :3

@ Serend ; :3 <33333
@ Lone ; You're redeemed because you didn't forget me that time. Darlin' I think I'm the only redneck around, at least here hehe. And ahhhhhh really, he does?! Eeeeeee <3 The man's damn sexy so that makes me happy. DOES HE LIKE LUKE BRYAN?! o: If so, I think I will officially love you're boyfriend. No more then mine, or more then you do. But still. Point being I would be really excited about that. c:
@ Lalala ; Don't poke me, I'm ticklish. Hehe. c:
@ Ariel ; I FEEL YOU'RE PAIN. I work 10 hour shift with 3 year olds. Intense is putting it lightly.
@ Second ; TSwift doesn't count as country. She's too pop. In my opinion at least. But she is very well knows.

@Madi- =D Gibs is like who I dream to be, but then don't cause I know that I would just be disgracing him.

@Ariel: Urgh. I wouldn'T be able to work with that many kids... untill I did like your cowoker, ut since I dont ever paint my nails, I wouldn'T be abl too.
@Kento: That... is so weird. Here, if you are doing an english/french major would mainly do literature, linguistic, poetic an stuff like that. Not history o-o. BUT. I strangly see you woking in something related to eonomics, so that one makes sns!
@Summer: he Says "yeah, I do. He's good, and pretty damn hot too."

@ Kento ; I either DVR the current season and have it hang out on my thingie or when I'm at work during nap time I'll watch an episode so that I don't have nap time too. But I love USA for having all the reruns. They always have the good one's playing!
@ Lone ; Ahhhhhhh <33333 I'm not sure if that expresses my happiness at his statement, but I don't know how else to put that reaction. c:

I'm gonna barge right on in here, if you don't mind~~
@ Summer -- Taylor Swift does not count as country, I don't know why everyone says she is. D< It's like when they called Avril Lavigne punk. Just because their style resembles another doesn't mean you get to ignore their overwhelming pop-ness.
@ Kento/Lone -- History should be required for EVERYTHING. D< [/history major]
@ Unrelated -- Also, my politics professor today revealed he knows quite a lot about Japanese idols for a middle aged Canadian man. D< I think he and I should be best friends. He looked like he was going to cry when no one seemed to recognize Morning Musume. I hear you, Mr. Professor! ='D We live in an AKB48-shaped world, with no love for the classics...!

@Lalala: I should have known that....
@Loli: We learn history in high school, unlike you, so getting in university, it's the intencive history. I swear, I looked at the history classes for fun and there was "Quebec's history from 1962 to 1964" SPECIFIC HISTORY (and totally not related to the most important event to have happened here that, coincidently started in 1962 and ended in 1964)
Also. We Canadian men like young little japanese girls. Of course he knew Morning Mususme!

Oh, it's like that in the States, too. General history in high school, more specific stuff in college. Except for the intro classes. My Japanese history class went up to the Meiji Restoration, which is a good couple thousand years.
A lot of stuff can happen in three years! But I'm glad I don't have to take that, at least Asian history classes have the courtesy to be separated into periods. D<
Of course. D< I bet you'd watch stuff like this all the time if you were here. You weird Canadian person. D<

The diference is the history we learn is better than yours D<
Serend had to learn that you won the Vietnam war and that the french revolution happened because the french were inspired by america Dx.
And... this is.. so... horribly... Japanese Dx.

I never learned that America won Vietnam. But that could be because I took AP US History, and they cared a little more about quality education than non-AP. But they brushed over most post-WWII history anyway. Not enough time.
Though, the French Revolution thing, yeah, that sounds about right. Americans like to think that we motivated everyone to rebel. Makes us feel better about ourselves. Hell, that's what the first part of the Cold War was about. D<
It's fun. ;w; Though, people are noisy on Japanese television.

Hiiiiiii whoever is on and new =D
Lone... >.> MUST YOU? MUST YOU RUB IT IN!? We know Canada kicks us dammit D<
Also I feel sooooo stupid comparing your histories D: Dear damn we have a such a mess here that you by nature fail your first classes in college thanks to the crappy history we got. Least in my high school -.- Ours is supposed to be, general Puerto Rican history through elementary school, which it never is, just tid bit general things. Then we move on to a semester of United States, another of Latin-America, another of Puerto Rico though I think that one's a year, and repeat in High School... Now that I think of it, I didn't take history in my senior year... And that's why everything I'm getting of Rome and Greece is new to me >.> Man I hate my schools... [/endrant]
Seryn looks cool =D
