Relief filled Daren, as she didn't continue to be mad at him, but give in and trust him. He pulled himself forward weakly and hugged her, kissing her forehead. "Thank you, Aria. I trust you too." He smiled at her, grateful. He sighed. "But I do still wonder if I am ever going to get out of here.." Victoria smiled gratefully, thinking for a moment of what to ask him. "Dante.." She paused, glancing over at him as she said quietly, "What do you think of me? A friend or a.." She didn't say the rest as she looked down and played with her faded shirt, not knowing what to hope for. She wouldn't mind if he said friend, but she knew she would be just a bit disappointed, because she saw of him something more. But she would be ecstatic if he said he saw her as more than a friend, but she would also be afraid that they would ruin the bonding that they had already.

Aria relaxed and a smile formed when Daren kissed her forhead. She was happy that a fight had been avoided, and laughed silently when he said that he still wondered when he could leave. 'He's such a complainer' she thought. "I don't know. I'm guessing the doctor will come in and tell you something, but it must not be too serious.."

Daren nodded, pondering over what she said. He stared at her face, memorizing every bit of it as he sighed, wincing when another headache came on and he had to lie down.

Dante thought for a moment. He knew how he felt, but he was confused on how she felt. He recalled her saying that she didn't see him as more than just a friend, but then he recalled that other things were said too. He finally decided to answer. "Victoria. You're such a great person, and I hope you know that." Dante paused not knowing how to say what he was thinking. He put his hand through his hair and moved it to the side. "To answer you question..I've saw something in you since that day at the pond. I wasn't sure at first what I saw, but I knew it was special I guess." He paused again. He closed his eyes and then opened them back up. "If I didn't like you more than a friend..I wouldn't have asked you on a date." Dante was quiet for a few minutes. He took in all the words that had just came out of his mouth. He wasn't exactly sure what he had said, but he knew it was true. "I hope that answers your question." Dante hoped that she would feel the same. He wished that he could experience what it was like to be in a relationship. Yes, he had been in plenty, but he never considered them relationships. They all consisted of him going to a party and hooking up with a girl. They would date but Dante ended them after a couple of weeks. He was only out to benefit himself. He knew what he wanted and he did what it took. After he had dated Alex's sister for a while, she cheated on him, and he figured all women were like this. So after that day his goal was to be a player before he could get played. He was just a plain douche bag who was a fool.

Victoria held in a breath, breathing shallowly. What was he going to say? What was he going to say? Was it something good...or bad? Was it- Her thoughts were cut off as she heard the first words come out of his mouth, and she listened to his words the whole way through. She finally let it out as he asked if that answered her question. She blushed slightly, now knowing what she felt for him as well, her questions for his own feelings towards herself answered. She nodded, a sort of joy coming inside of her as she thought over what he had said. "Thank you." Was all she could say. She bit her lip and looked him in the eyes, her brown dull ones meeting his alive, green ones. She smiled a bit before saying quietly, "I feel the same."

Dante was surprised at what she had said. "I feel the same" played over and over in his head. Dante enjoyed hearing this news, but fear soon rushed over and blinded up his eyes from the happiness. He had heard this many of times before, and he had this this before, but it was never true on his side though. He thought about things. He didn't want anything out of Victoria, surprisingly, so his feelings must have been true. He didn't know what to say. If the relationship went further would he tell her what he had done in the past? He had too. He couldn't just keep what he did to the other girls away from him. If he did so, and she eventually found out, then it would only make things worse. But then he began to think again. His mind was soon overwhelmed with ideas and thoughts and emotions that he eventually just turned it all off. He looked over at Victoria with a slight smile on his face. "Well that's a relief." He became stumped at what to say next. He stumbled for words and all that came out was a big giant mouth full of mumbling. Eventually the words came to his mouth. "Was there any other questions, or was that it? And what do we do now that we established these mutual feelings?" Dante mentally smacked himself in the head. He sounded like a total fool and he hated that he had just done that.

Victoria watched his facial expressions go from surprise, to happiness, to fear one right after the other. She could almost see the thoughts coming out of his mouth, but it was like he was a mime. She had no idea what he was thinking, but she could see the actions clearly. Without warning, she could see his face clear up from emotions and become happy again, a small smile on his face. She laughed lightly at what he said, glad that he was joyful to hear the news. Victoria could sense the awkward silence coming between them, and she scrambled around for words, feeling sure that he was doing the same. She was confused by his mumbling, but saw the words fall from Dante's mouth after his struggle. Was that it? She didn't know. She hadn't thought further than that one question. She blushed slightly at this thought, thinking of herself as a moron that had no idea how to speak without sounding stupid. She bit her lip at his next question, wondering what they would do after he got out of the hospital. What to do about them, now that they have confessed them? She inhaled another breath, her mind going a mile a minute.
"I-I don't know." She admitted, her blush growing worse. "I never really thought of my next question..and as for our 'mutual feelings'"- She giggled at his wording- "I don't know that either. We can't really do anything until you are feeling better." Fear grew inside of her, her mind finishing for her, If you get better. She knew her words were true, but how long would it be until he could go anywhere? And what of his drinking problem? Would he stop or continue on like none of this happened. She glanced up at these questions and met his green eyes again, biting her lip. What would he choose? More importantly, what would fate choose for him?

Dante chuckled at her answers. It made him feel better that he wasn't the only one who was new to this kind of thing. He pondered on the thoughts of what he wanted to happen next. He wanted all kinds of things, but he felt that he didn't know Victoria well enough to go through with any of them. He also feared that Victoria had no idea what she was getting involved with either. Dante came to a conclusion after thinking for quite some time. "Victoria. I think I know where this should go." He paused to see her reaction. Before she could show any type of emotion or thought he continued. "I think we should get to know each other more. That way we both know what we are getting into." Dante pondered again at the thought of being in the hospital. There had to be away for him to get out, but also get the treatment that he needed. He would talk to Mr. Jacobs in the morning to ask him.

Victoria nodded, knowing he was starting off on a good foot. It was nice to know that someone could take charge and be smart in the situation. She sighed and pulled herself up, knowing the nurse was coming in any moment to tell them she had to leave. "I don't want to leave you here." She whispered it, her eyes traveling down to the concrete tiled floor, knowing her words were true. What happened if there was an emergency involving his health and she wasn't there to go through the pain with him? What if his heart stopped beating? A tear rolled down her cheek slowly at the thought, and she glanced at the door, praying the nurse wouldn't come in right away. "Maybe I could hide under the bed." She muttered, laughing at her stupidity. They would never buy it. She stared at Dante, her emotions coming at her all at once as she conjured up different plans in her head to stay.

Dante say the tears come to her eyes. He stood up out of his bed and step towards her. His feet were cold and twitched from touching the cold hard floor. He hugged her and tried to encourage her. "I'll be fine. I'll be out of here by midday tomorrow, I promise." This was all that Dante could think of to comfort her. When he said that he would be out tomorrow, he was confident enough that it was true. Jacobs knew his family and knew what kind of people that they were. The way that he talked, Dante's condition did not sound that bad...at least to him, so he could reason with Jacobs to let him go home. If anything, it would come with terms and conditions, most likely that Dante come in everyday to get tests done, and he had no problem with that. All they wanted to do was make sure his kidneys and liver were okay before they would let him go home. As Dante continued to hug Victoria the nurse from earlier came into the room.
"Sorry to tell you this but visiting hours are over. Plus we have to take Mr. Reynolds to go get some tests done." She smiled as Dante looked at her.

Victoria trembled slightly from her fear of leaving him, but hugged him back fiercely, when he stepped forward and put his arms around her. She felt a spark, but figured it was nothing and listened to his sweet voice. She blew out a sigh as she didn't let go of him, mumbling that she had to stay, she was worried. She closed her eyes and held him, her actions taking over her thoughts. When she heard a female voice ring through her ears, she let out a soft, sad cry and let him go reluctantly. She stared into his eyes, her own shiny from new tears. "Promise me you won't do anything stupid." She said it quietly, giving him a small smile, hoping he really wouldn't. She turned back to the nurse and caught the woman's smile. She scowled in return, but turned back to Dante, her face filled with worry and sadness.

Dante gave his charming smile to Victoria. "I promise. Promise me you won't worry all night?" Dante said as he hugged Victoria one last time. His view on women was effected by the way that Victoria acted. He thought that they didn't care, and that every single one of them was no good, since that's what he saw in the past. But he started to think that maybe they weren't bad at all, but it was only him that was no good and was out for himself and himself only. It would take time for his new thinking to be confirmed, but he did always say change is good. Dante turned around to pick up the car keys off the table. He opened up Victoria's hand and placed them in it, then closed her fingers and held them. "I wish you could stay longer, but we have to abide by the rules just for tonight. I'll make sure I get the clear to go home tomorrow." Dante said as he smiled and gave Victoria a kiss on the forehead. He eyes watered a bit, but he kept the tears from falling down his face. Even though he could just let them flow, he didn't, because his pride got in the way. Plus he didn't want to feel the tears of loneliness and self pity to wet his cheeks. It was bad enough that he had to stay, and he wouldn't make it any worse than it already was.

Victoria was breathless from his gorgeous smile, and she hugged him back tightly, smiling at his promise and question. "I might," She said in a teasing tone. "I might sneak back." She whispered this part to him, making sure the nurse couldn't hear. She giggled, her smile trying to cover her sadness and worry for him. She let go of him and watched him turn to get his car keys, and she glanced up at him when he put them in her hands and held them. She bit her lip at his next words, and hoped he was right. She hated seeing him here, and she wanted him to be back to his old self as soon as possible.
Victoria's eyes opened wide when he kissed her forehead, and she stared into his green eyes, which were now wet with tears. She knew he was holding them in, and she smiled shyly after her mind reeled over his kiss. It had left a tingling feeling, but she liked it. She grinned at him fully now, and gave him her own kiss, which was on his cheek. She knew she couldn't stay any longer, so her head bowed as she squeezed his hand and let him go slowly. "I'll take care of your car, don't worry," She said in a sure tone as she walked away from him, her back to the nurse.

Aria was still sitting on the bed when the doctor walked in. He looked at Daren and set his clipboard on the table.
"Well, Daren. We didn't really find anything wrong with you besides the injuries from that fight. We're going to keep you overnight for observation, just in case."
The doctor said this and smiled, then left the room with the clipboard. Aria touched Daren's arm.
"See, it's all good. Guess I should let my mom know I'm staying overnight though." she said taking her cell out of her pocket.

Daren smiled at the doctor and pumped his fist in the air, grinning. "I'm getting out of this hellhole!" He shouted, turning to listen to Aria as she spoke. He watched her pull her cell phone out and he took a sharp intake of breath. "You..You're staying overnight?" He said it quietly, his eyes catching hers.
