Tython/ Ronyo's old Campsite

As the sun made its first appearance through the thick canopy of foliage Ronyo opened his eyes but his force ghosts remained. He had spread them out over the course of the night and found a good border in which they could remain with his concentration. He had felt his Padawan's anger and emotions build during her punching of the tree and felt her uncomfortable nature in the presence of his call of the wild ability. She had areas inside her he would need to bring out and hopefully expel or risk her falling down a path he had seen too often.

If she had performed the exercise correctly she should be fully energize and ready for the next step of training. The fact was Anya had only gone through a brief sample of Ronyo's work out from Tython it would take many more like that to mold her into a Jedi able to stand against a Sith Lord or worst a full Darth of the Sith Order. Unfortunately it would seem time was beginning to not be a luxury they could afford much longer. That was the good thing about Ronyo's training though it did not require just one place to train.

Looking to his Padawan he smiled and then stood up looking around him until he found a pair of long and durable sticks that he easily shaved off with his lightsaber to be smooth. He reached out and pulled several large leaves and some thin vines down and spent his time covering a portion of the sticks that would be handles. He gave a grunt to which Omega walked over and nudged Anya gently to give her awareness of the outside world.

"I trust you are ready to begin more training my young Padawan. Now you have seen a very small idea of what my normal routine was when I started training under Master Tey. Everything you did I did for days at a time, traded trees for rocks, and began carrying those rocks on my back as I ran across the trees. I did that for a little less than a month. Hopefully with time we may get to that with you but for now I wish you to see all that your training may entail. Please produce your vibrosword and stand across from me."

Ronyo stood up and produced another of the holocrons which he floated over to the rock with the force. With a wave it activated and a human Jedi came out and bowed to Ronyo with a small grin. It turned to Anya and looked her over then bowed in turn as well. Ronyo held his stick with the newly wrapped handles in his hands to fill the weight and he smiled looking at the hologram.

"This is Master Mukashi-Moto, he was a Weapons Master in his time and helped me push my lightsaber training to beyond anything that has been recorded. Through my training with Master Mukashi and all the other Masters I developed my own lightsaber form, that when you show yourself ready I may teach you. For now though we will see what you can do and both Master Mukashi and myself will study your technique and determine how best to instruct your skills to develop. Every Jedi is different in their fighting style and while the forms of a Jedi are all learned by the rank of Knight some choose a select few to become truly exceptional at and one day master. Even given you are my Padawan our styles will likely be different but we will also learn from each other. Now when you are ready you may attack."

Naboo.

Orion wanted to say no, to take Liesa home and help her to bed, or even to his home and spend the night promising to take her to the stars in just a little while more... but he also wanted to be away from this place. His father might miss him, but he doubted that he would force him to come home. They could travel to Coruscant and see the glittering city-planet, where Orion had never been. Visions of sparring with pirates and dealing with Hutts played out in his mind, romanticized and colored with his knowledge from holovids, and he couldn't resist.

"As you wish, my lady." He replied with a grin, abandoning the reason and guilt of the decision for eagerness and excitement.

His speeder was outside, a two-seated luxury vehicle, and he climbed aboard laughing with Liesa while her drunkeness seemed to pass onto him. "Have I ever told you how much I love you, sweet? " He asked, activating the speeder and pulling away from the large manse. Next stop: Adventure.

Red Birth -- hyperspace.

Malo cursed as she felt the push against the door through both the force and the tremor in the ship. He was hitting it hard. Sparing a glare at the door she considered her options. The Sith had no weapons... but her medicines had apparently given him enough strength to assault an entire spaceship. He wouldn't need a saber if he came through those doors right now, or if he did he might take hers. It had been so long since she'd fought a Sith and the last one... a tremor of fear chilled her anger.

How long can you keep this up? She wondered. He hadn't eaten anything in days, kept alive only through fluid injections that she wasn't even sure she'd done right. One glass of water and the force could get him by for a sneak attack like the one in the medbay, but a duel? How long had he been laying on Harrin before she'd found him, anyways? She was a Knight, Lynn had seen her master Vaapad...

But she wasn't. Not anymore.

Malo abandoned the hallway then, sprinting for the engine room. She knew where to go, exactly which crystals to remove without electrocuting herself or exposing the ship to radiation, and it took only a moment to disable it all. Safety protocols would have prevented her from doing it in hyperspace, but this was her ship. She wasn't about to see it become a part of the empire. She might have been thrown across the room with the sudden, violent shaking that the ship groaned through while exiting hyperspace if she hadn't prepared herself for it.

Syncing her COM to the ship's overhead communications, she then spoke into it while on the move. "In case you were still wondering, that was my ship being forced out of hyperspace. Since we were both lucky enough not to stop in the middle of a planet or on the edge of a star, we won't be going anywhere anytime soon."

She sighed, slipping out of the engineering room and into another hallway. This was her ship. No one knew it better than she did. In the blink of an eye she erased her force signature. "Now would be a good time for you to rethink your strategy, Sith." Malo said into the COM, then clicked it off.

Naboo

"You have undoubtedly told me countless times," Liesa informed Orion as she climbed into the speeder beside him. "Though I can scarcely remember how many -- I am the definition of marvelous, after all."

Liesa was pretty sure she might've dozed off when they stopped at Orion's place so he could pack a bag -- "Be practical, Orion dear this is an adventure not a best dressed contest," she faintly remembered calling after him. Whatever happened, it seemed like she was back home in just moments.

Following Orion's example, Liesa all but ran to her room; she lost sight of Orion, as she'd launched herself out of the speeder before he'd even fully parked, but he knew which room was her bedroom.

Once there, she stripped out of her evening gown and kicked off her heels, and threw on some jeans and a loose t-shirt. She stuffed the hardiest clothing she had-- mainly, tshirts, sweatshirts and an assortment of pants-- into a duffle bag as well as all the loose credits (which was actually a fair amount) plus her credit card. She could probably only use that once or twice, but it might come in handy.

Leaving her room, she ran into Orion who had finally parked -- "Come on," she urged, and led him to her father's room where she cracked the safe in a manner of practiced ease and pulled out his blaster. Then she headed towards the private hangar off the side of the house.

"You should probably pilot," she told Orion truthfully.

Tython ~ Training Ground

Anya was flowing through the Force when she felt a nudge and snapped back to reality, quickly leaping to her feet and drawing the vibrosword. She was disoriented at first and could not identify the source of the nudge. Then she recognized the large wolf that her Master had identified as Omega. She heaved a heavy breath and dropped to the ground. He was busy fashioning some kind of weapon. Anya idly glanced down at her hand and saw that, while the wounds had healed a great deal, her hands were still raw and pained. She dismissed the pain and nodded when her Master asked her to stand across from him. She watched him as he floated the holocron over towards the others. She was still a little disoriented from the reverie, but it was quickly coming back to her. He introduced a new hologram, this one of a Master Mukashi-Moto. She politely bowed to him when the hologram bowed to her and listened to him explain what they would be doing. "Master, do you expect me to fight you with this sword while you're only using a stick?" she asked, wariness present in her voice.

Tython/ Ronyo's old Campground

Ronyo smiled as Anya began coming back fully to her senses. The first time using the reverie technique could be odd with the body never going into a full REM sleep mode. After a few more nights she would get use to it and likely find it allowed her to work longer and begin the day quicker than basic sleep. He could see her testing her hands and noticed the lesser reaction of pain in her face which would be good for the next training session. Which Ronyo turned his smile into a slight chuckle at his Padawan's concern for his safety.

"Don't worry Anya if I get injured it will be my own fault not yours. I would not be much of a Jedi Master if I got hurt during a training session. I saw some of your style while you worked with the Mandalorian during the training exercise so I have a good idea what to expect. Now then, "Ronyo cracked his neck and slid his left foot slightly back and bent his knees while bringing his weapons to a ready stance, "Let's begin," Ronyo smile faded to a small grin and to test Anya reaction he let out a pulse of his force signature bringing himself into a tighter focus.

Tython ~ Training Ground

Anya gritted her teeth when her Master responded that if he got hurt it was through a fault of his own. Great, so I have to hold back, she thought to herself. She watched him shift his feet, then felt as he sent out a pulse in the Force. Instinctively, she retracted from the Force, protecting herself from the pulse. Instead, using the technique she was taught last night, she opened herself to the living Force. She identified her target, her Master, and dropped her right foot back. At the same time, she brought the vibrosword, held in her right hand, up to beside her head. She adapted a combat style akin to those taught in Form VI: Ataru. "En guard," she said and began to advance towards her Master. She avoided the rookie mistake of charging at him, in order to prevent her momentum being used against her.

Tython/ Ronyo's old campsite

Ronyo watched the Padawan drop into stance and begin an advance. He recognized the general style as being Ataru which caused the Jedi to chuckle just for a bit. she had not opted for a powerful charge and attack but seemed to be waiting for a chance to counter. it could be said to have been a wise move but she would lose chance at first strike but given that she had not seen any of Ronyo's fighting style it was the more logical choice.

With that Ronyo dashed in forward both sabers coming up the cross in front of his face. Before he would have collided with his new Padawan he slashed hard with his two sticks making an X but just shy of being able to hit anything. Instead his feint was followed up with leap up and over Anya twisting all the while in mid air. He landed just behind her and thrust a stick down low to attempt to hamstring the girl and slashed his second stick horizontally at the back of her head. Both attacks would be strong and Ronyo was curious to see how she would react when she turned to engage him.

Tython ~ Training Ground

Normally, when an opponent charged at her and attacked, she would raise in defense, however, this time was different. With her mind opened to the Living Force around her, she resisted the urge to block. As her Master leapt over, she was already reacting. By the time his attack came to hit her, she had her vibrosword in place to block it. Releasing a held breath, she switched tactics and brought her sword upwards, bringing one of his makeshift weapons with her. As she did, she twisted her body to the side, reducing her defensive region. Once she completed the upwards motion, she dropped her sword down in an attempt to tag her Master's wrist. In an actual combat scenario, the move was designed to disarm, literally, an opponent, which was a classic Ataru move.

Red Birth

The ship seemed to decelerate, but Malo couldn't have been stupid to try to pilot her way out of this...

"In case you were still wondering, that was my ship being forced out of hyperspace," Malo's voice sounded over an intercom next to Sephis, startling him. "Since we were both lucky enough not to stop in the middle of a planet or on the edge of a star, we won't be going anywhere anytime soon."

She was that stupid?!

"Now would be a good time for you to rethink your strategy, Sith," Malo continued.

Like hell...

Now, Sephis knew that the hallway outside was clear... Assuming Malo was on this ship alone. It only now occurred to Sephis that he might have more to contend with than only her. Sephis hesitated before the doorway.

If there's someone waiting for me outside, I'm stuck in this room, anyway, Sephis thought recklessly.

Another stubbon Force Push pushed the door open enough for him to move through while crouching. It wobbled off of its track, bouncing back and forth from tension.

Where was the cockpit? If Sephis could find that, then he could trap Malo there. Assuming she was alone. Sephis felt a sudden dizzy spell coming on. He stood up two quickly. His vision went fuzzy and he slumped against the wall, leaning awkwardly against it, slowly moving forward as he waited for the blood to return to his face, return him to a fully functioning person.

Point Nadir, Outside Zietta's Palace

"Now, here's my deal, and you only get one choice: Give me a lift out of here, or I leave you to the dogs of this godforsaken planet."

This deal was a no-brainer. The obvious thing to do here was give this woman a ride. It was the least he could do, if she was going to help him get to his ship, but then there was Daesha...

"There's a Twi'lek..."

Maybe, if this woman was desperate enough, she'd help Kal pick up his accomplice on their way out.

Tython/ Ronyo's old campsite

The young Padawan was keeping herself calm so far and that was allowing her to react quickly and efficiently to Ronyo's attacks. The parry and dodge were well placed and the riposte coming in right for Ronyo's wrist. Still the Padawan's disadvantage besides experience and overall skill was the fact she was using one of Ronyo's most used styles. As of now Ronyo was dipping into the Ataru form himself with the high flying moves but being a master meant the ability to use them all.

Ronyo twisted his wrist as the blade came in and around enough to parry bounce the blade back, his second stick came in quick and fast while his first retracted allowing Ronyo to connect and carry the vibrosword up high. Ronyo first stick was out again catching the sword at the height of the arc and parrying it back the way it had come and push it through down and out the other side all the while his second stick had snaked its way back down and was now coming in to strike at Anya's exposed ribs.

Ronyo had purposely played and batted the Padawan's sword around to try and agitate the girl. He had felt her anger before and knew if she gave into it, without the right training and focus, would lead to mistakes and wild attacks. For this was not simply a test of the girls sword skill, for Ronyo could likely fall into his own personal form and bring a large amount of confusion to the girl. No this was also a test of pressure and the ability to keep a cool head under it.

Tython ~ Training Ground

The snap of the makeshift weapon hitting her side reverberated through the forest as pain shot through her side. For a second, her mind blanked, but she quickly recovered. However, now she had a disadvantage in that her side ached. Remembering how she had used the pain in previous days, she quickly turned her pain into power. As her Master batted her weapon about, she began to get angry. But with her mind opened to the Living Force around her, she gained an outside perspective to the situation and realized that he was baiting her to anger. Quickly she clamped down on her aggressiveness. Quickly, she retracted her weapon and backflipped away from her Master, calling on the Force to aid her. She came down to the ground and adapted a defensive stance, positioning her blade in front of her.

Tython/ Ronyo's old campsite

Good insight, careful planning, and the ability to take a blow and retreat rather than counter in a rush. All were good qualities to have but now Ronyo would push her a bit more as he moved forward and to his left he went low and his sticks came out first and for a moment the Jedi appeared more like a predator coming after its prey than a Jedi. Ronyo brought more styles into his mixture of attacks and came on with a flurry of strikes and feints, not looking to score hits but to simply press the attack and go through routines and motions of attack.

The Jedi Master kept the Ataru as his primary for now, but the Makashi style was always present as well due to the duel wielding style. Bits of Shien came in as it was a great complement to Ataru and against defensive opponents. Ronyo would hold back two styles for sure though as he was not sure if Anya was ready to face such power. The Vapaad form was still a debated form and one the council had asked Ronyo to be careful with whenever he used it, and then there was his style Harmony a form that was meant for a duel wilder like Ronyo to create what some in the order called a dance of death.
