She read: Next fighters will learn the handstands of Capoeira, which they are so recognized for. Training is very diverse but important in this stage. A strong abdomen is needed, as well as a firm grip of upper body strength and balance to hold and move the body. Trees are often used to help with this part of training, as they can use the tall bark to slowly lean against during handstands to balance themselves, as well as perform hundreds of situps as they hang down from the tree branches.

She decided to do handstands first to get this time. She went into a push up position and slowly walked her bare feet up the trunk of the tree. Once in the elongated push up position she started to move her hands closer to the tree.

She lost her gripping and landed on her face and her legs scrapped across the tree. She let out a huge slur of swears as she checked herself. She was bleeding slightly but it wasn't going to stop her.

She started to do the same process. She finally got it and kicked her feet off the tree. She was doing a handstand on her own. She couldn't keep it though. She fell flat on her back because she moved her legs. She sighed. One more time.

She started the process yet again and got into a handstand. She tried to keep her balance. She sighed with relief she was staying up. She then lowered her legs one then the other and then stood up. She grinned. Now onto the second part of her training.
