"Night owl calls while the dove soars across the silver moon" he whispered in a song, his voice sweet like honey as he beckoned to the children with his hands to come closer, the youngest came reluctantly still sobbing as she was yanked forward by her brother. Hinode put his arms around the two still smiling as their eyes met, something about his whispy blue eyes capturing them and making it to where they couldn't look away. Perhaps it was the clear resonance of hope and love, peace and happiness that he held within himself that they could see, through the window to his soul. Or perhaps it was the tears he shed as he sang so longingly, although it didn't look as if he realized he was crying, this lullaby which was one he sang to his sister often had always made him cry. He continued to serenade the children with his soft tone and slowly the sobbing turned to sniffles as they clung tight to the boy they had just now met. Somehow they managed to break free from the hold his eyes had on them but they still listened intently to his soothing voice as he sang to them so earnestly. "Far dream, dream, no dream, you can feel the forest calling out to you, far dream, dream, no dream, close your eyes, my darling child, When the dawn comes, you'll see these things I have for you: morning dew and the scent of a jasmine summer breeze". He finished finally and all was silent, a few people had poked heads from their windows to make sense of the sound they had heard only to hide back away when the music had ended. The silence continued for many minutes as the children eventually walked off silently giving off a thousand thank you's to the air as the elder brother picked up the doll-- or what was left of it -- wiped it off, and gave it to his sister. Only after they were out of sight did everything come back to rest and the young man sat quietly in deep thought of sunny days and vast gardens of brilliance.

Today was the day he were to be a full fledged Genin for Kirigakure, a land he had not hailed from but was welcomed into with open arms, a place that was as good as home, if not better for him. The blond haired bird still had his wings spread and his head in the clouds as he got up from his seat and continued to walk forward. He was to be late now to the office of the Mizukage thanks to finding a girl and her brother being bullied, he got the others to shoo and soothed the tears of the girl. Her doll was ruined but she would be okay, he was just glad to have done his part in a place he shouldn't have ever been a part of, and now he was going to be able to do more. Hinode was older for a shinobi of his ranking but he had come here much later than most and needed to be schooled and questioned appropriately so the village knew they were not introducing an Otogakure spy into their ranks. Now that he was finally trusted it felt as if a weight was lifted from his shoulders, he was even more free than he had been before-- even if his mind was always wandering as free as the heavens above before all of this. The young man wore typical Otogakure garb for villagers, still unable to completely leave his roots, he also carried around a wooden walking stick of sorts for no real reason besides wanting to do so. The gold locks and cloudy blue eyes always looking so distant and away from the worries of the world were a signature, even more catching than the scar which ran across his face, a reminder of where he had come from and the pain and suffering it caused. A pain that never seemed to touch the carefree and wonderful Hinode who looked to always be in a serene state and joyous to just be alive, a rare sight in most during these times.

When he finally reached the office of the Mizukage he was even more late than he could have known, although it didn't seem to matter as he came upon the office of the woman it seemed as though she was already in meeting with somebody else. The young sensor waited outside the closed doors leaning against the large wooden stick he had carved into a perfect spectacle, he was whistling something jolly which was no doubt coming from the top of his head, the notes so full of life and regretless as his soul was. He wasn't sure if he was being too loud but such things didn't matter, in all reality under the calm facade he was trying to hide the fact he was nervous, not out of anticipation but out of fear. The young man had a sort of irritianal fear of women, especially beautiful women, and especially beautiful powerful women such as the Mizukage, he tried to make it seem as though it didn't matter but he felt about to collapse from fright. He coul try to convince himself that just the male Mizukage would be in at this time but he was a sensory type after all, he read three chakra signatures inside the thin doors, two of them massive and another lowly Genin by the looks of things.

((Sorry if my posts are annoyingly large, the last paragraph is him within the office building, the rest was just me enjoying myself a little ^^))

Overflowing with relief as the woman within the room decided to leave he exhaled deeply and let his guard down once again, not realizing that the blond still inside was also a girl he walked in full stride, looking merry in all rights. The Mizukage seemed inviting but his raised eyebrow gave way that he was curious about Hinode, it was to be expected-- he doubted the man even know that this Genin of his was from Otogakure, another village entirely and somehow ended up with the shinobi of this nation instead. In turn the young shinobi raised his own eyebrow at the power the man seemed to have, it seemed severed or at least not as powerful as a Kage ought to be. Not wishing to be rude he didn't pry but only lowered his brow and replaced the gesture with a smile and clouded blue eyes staring contently in front of him. "Mizukage-dono it's a pleasure to meet you, my name is Hinode Nawigata of Otogakure-- I'm currently a Genin within your village, I was told to report here after I graduated the academy" he explained, the messy haired blond seemed much to old to be a Genin but it wasn't his fault, he had been a slow learner due to healing from injuries given to him in Otogakure by bandits before he escaped. The strangeness the Mizukage felt from him could be for many reasons, his unusually bright outlook or the barely noticeable memory block jutsu that had been placed on him. Something he had no recollection of but wouldn't want removed, remembering would be the worst possible thing for him.

As he turned to acknowledge the second presence in the room not wanting to be rude he finally got a good look at the person who had been in here before him, the blond he assumed to be a boy. Except it wasn't a boy, it was in fact another woman, his smile contorted into something ghastly and fearful as his face went white the color drained completely at this realization. He was within touching distance of a girl, his nerves were running rampant as the white which had overtaken him quickly rose to a crimson blush. Still in shock and fright he backed himself to the wall, he couldn't keep his composure after being so close to a woman, the only female who ever got near him were his sister and mother and that was a long time ago. "H-Ha... hahaha..." he stammered not knowing what else to say, he looked like a lost puppy in a crowded city looking for direction back to its home. Why on earth did his first meeting with such a prestigious person as the Mizukage have to involve a woman and his fear letting loose in the same room as the royalty he wished to impress, now he looked like a total fool. His gloved hands ruffled his blond hair as he looked at his shoes nervously trying to let himself calm down before trying to speak again, thank goodness for the large wooden staff he used to lean against or he'd be on his rump.

After the red had finally left his cheeks the blond looked at the Mizukage again with a sort of embarrassed twinkle in his eyes, however obvious it was he decided he better explain. He didn't want to offend the girl although he couldn't speak to her directly without fainting, he could speak to her through the Mizukage, lucky for him. "Sorry! I-- uh, girls.. I can't... hehehe" so much for being able to speak like a normal human being again, still full of gibberish he sighed, surely they both got the gist of what he was trying to say. He had some sort of irrational fear of women, whether it be intimidation or admiration apparently he couldn't be around them without blundering like a total idiot. He kept his eyes fixed on the Mizukage so sharply it looked as if the veins were going to pop, he was far too full of fear to risk a second glance at the girl beside him lest he actually did faint in the Mizukage's office. What a story that would be, he'd be the laughing stock of this entire village if he wasn't already, he just needed to keep cool was all, like the jasmine breeze.
