(Star, what tree tops would be in a hospital room?)
Yusei was on his way to the cafeteria downstairs when he caught sight of Kogaku choking on a feather. Rushing to the pup's aid, Yusei made Kogaku cough up the feather. Once saved, Kogaku whimpered and followed Yusei everywhere through the hospital including the cafeteria.

Yugi noticed that Star was staring into space and had to ask, "What are you looking at sweetie? All I see out there is smog and chimneys."

Star blinks a few times coming back to reality " oh right " she offers a small smile. " look yugi....there's someone i need to talk to you about. " she sighs again " This man was an old childhood friend of mine. Someone who i once cared a lot about before my journeys took me here to you."

It was then that Yusei returned with the drinks and Kogaku as well.

Star pauses smiling to yusei and kogaku. "Well....we used to be really close. His name was peter. We had a common bond when we were little since both our moms had passed away. So we got really close." she looks down to her hand in her lap and balls then tightly " But then, he changed. He started coming to school late hanging with a rough crowd and even got. Aggressive.." her voice was barely a soft whisper now.

Star gave a small nod. "We....had a fling it was one time and before i came here. It was part of the reason i was so insecure..." she shivers rubbing her arms a bit. "I left him yelling at me." she chuckles lightly again " he even chased the car as i pulled away and threw i think it was a toaster at me...." she shook her head. " i came here and i met you and i forgot all about it but then...today earlier.... i heard his voice...its a voice ill never soon forget." she grit her teeth lightly

Yugi understood completely, "The shadows, you mean. They took on the voice of someone you wanted to forget."
Turning to Iori, Yugi asked, "Say Iori, when those shadows left Blaze, am I mistaken or did I hear they mentioning your sworn rival as well?"

Iori had been lost in thought. He soon snapped out of it " They did mention kusanagi. That's one lead we have so far. We should probably look into it. " It did make some sense that Kyo could be behind it. Kyo was considered one of the bottom kings and he really didn't have much of a family. He wasn't even sure if Kyo had any heirs.

Yugi then said, "Hang on, while we can suspect Kyo behind it, I doubt he's the real culprit or even one of them. We have to consider that the shadows that attacked Star just now also had some sort of rival connection. What we do know for sure is that we are dealing with someone else who is a master at sorcery. Someone like you Iori, but we know it isn't you. Someone who knows dark arts."
Kogaku spoke up for once, and asked, "Um...someone like Severus Snape or maybe its someone like Morticia Truesdale out for revenge or something."

Yugi nodded, "Yeah, but they aren't too fond of Dee either being ruler. However, those people won't actually form an attack as big as we are talking here. And remember, they too were targets of these attacks. Yumi was a target recently when that renovation happened at the mansion. Someone actually managed to control poor Corrigan Bogard into attacking her and someone convinced that same Prince to bring Jonathan Bogard into the war also."
