Alex noticed that Antoinette was seated behind her and Alex smiled and turned around "hey mate!" Alex said happily

 Kalle nodded to the new addition to class. 'Welcome Vladimir. As you can see, we are currently studying the sphinx. I will be giving you all the basic information you need about the sphinx, and then I shall give you a brief history lesson,' she explained, waving for Vladimir to sit. Her eyes then shifted toward the sphinx, who slowly nodded. 'I shall also allow one of you to challenge Tûrwen to a game of riddles... after which I can guarantee she will not eat you,' she added after seeing the expression on some of the student's faces. She then took a deep breath. 'The androsphinx is the species of sphinx that can talk and has a legendary love of riddles. The other species of sphinx are the crioshpinx, or ram-headed sphinx, and the hierocosphinx, or falcon-headed sphinx. They may usually be found in the shade of a rock or in ancient ruins, as these are their preferred 'nesting' areas. They will grow to be approximately six feet in length, and from three to five feet in height. A shpinx will attack with its claws and teeth, and has been known to, on occasion, eat humans,' she said. 'Any questions?'

Olli Hufflepuff ; Fifth YearOlli couldn't help but look confused at the answer Ammy gave her. They just studied unicorns... She shook her head. "I sure hope it will be," she said. Knowing this class though, she guessed whatever the next lesson was on was going to be pretty cool. At Ammy's comment, she studied the new Slytherin that stayed standing beside Kalle. She cocked her head to the side. "No, I have no idea who she is... Do you?" Olli guessed the answer would be no, judging by the tone of Ammy's voice when she asked, but she thought maybe she was in a different class with her.

Meiko quietly wrote down notes and listened to the professor's lecture, looking a bit worried and tired.
"No question here, ma'am." Meiko said as she shook her head, looking at professor Kalle.

I nodded in knowledge that the ather stunning looking teacher had spoken to me. If I hadnt set my sights on destroying Reynolds, I might have considered... well not matter. "Very vell." I said in a dignified tone. I took my position at the back of the group and watched intently.

A smile played on the edge of Kalle's lips as the new Slytherin replied. She nodded to him as he took a spot near the back of the group. 'Excellent. To begin our brief history lesson, might someone tell me when and where in the world the first androsphinx was discovered?' she asked calmly.

Devon yawned silently, writing down some facts about the sphinx. He quickly gazed at his cousin, who seemed to be attentive than he is.
"She always was the attentive one." Devon muttered to himself, going back to his notes.
