San smiled and approached mann and smiled. It seemed his magma blood was flowing again. Well, then the ninja would give him a spar!
It had been a while sense manny and the now sannin spared. In fact, Manny was a gennin last time they did it! His undying and unwithering dedication and sheer guts was a force not to be taken lightly.
He would bit through his own arm if it meant getting you. It was a rather scary sight, and San had no plan of sticking to one point for too long. It was that impressive.
Last time he had fought, the sannin had been training in Pi Qua Quan. This style had proved helpful agaisnt the sheer power of Manny, allowing him to brush the pwoer attacks of the ninja way. Maybe he would have to do something similar this time around.
San grabbed his blade. His biosense was giving him all sorts of data on his new opponent. So for once...it seemed he would have a biological opponent again.
San took his initial step to attempt to touch blades with his enemy, to start any other proper dual. The respecting ninja would have a hidden agenda however. He liked his bag of tricks.
He would attempt to use his style's next technique. It was called folding lips. A complex move, it was a very useful technique.
The ninja would pulse chakra through his sword and aim to smack the blade away from Manny in a quick movement. Yet San's blade was still in the same spot. However, the ninja wasnt going to do anything yet...there was more training.....

As San raised his sword to touch blades in a respectful manner Manfread nearly fell over laughing.
“That might be easy to do with a small puny sword like yours,” he said suddenly whipping his sword and striking at San's blade inorder to knock San's arm back, “But that would be suicide for a Great Beheader, like my Necromancer!”
He activated his byakugan as he moved, using the force of the swing to propel himself forwards in an attempt to use Hourakushou (Cave-in palm) into San's gut.

San's new and improved reflexis would prove to be a bigger pain in the a** to manny then he would originally suspect. Despite being a ninjutsu user, the ninja did have his strengths in the close combat arts. It seemed this time that Manny would have his time to find that out.
San was surprised that his attempt to knock the blade away with chakra had become useless, but it seemed negligable to the ninja currently. He still had several ways of avoiding and capitalizing on this attack. On with Blades!
The sannin was going to try to keep this to his bukijutsu and his taijutsu, as well as train and try out some of his new style. It seemed this would be a pain in the a**, but San woudlnt let it get in his way. If all else failed, he had his bloodline to mercelessly defeat the jounin with.
The strike of manny had indeed knocked San's blade away, but San himself followed with it. He was well trained enough in biomechanics to keep everything in his "Box" and his training in Shunkan had also allowed him to do so. This was going to be yielding at its finest.
The oncomming strike appeared slightly slower to san through his particle technique, and he made the proper precautions to avoid it. Using the new technqiue, Cold Lips, The ninja took a heavy step from his off angle position and swung his blade for Manny's arm aiming for the Radialbracialus muscle of his forearm.
San had a small snicker on his face as he realized what he had done. James had transfered some medical knowledge to San, and his books bought in the void on Anatomy and physiology would greatly help him out when it came to finding fun muscle groups to attack. It seemed they were both in for a treat.
The hasty strong counter has a contradiction to the normal fluid style, and meant to stop an assault before it ever really began. Good, because if manny ever got rolling, then they would all be in trouble. San was not gonna let that occur.
After his first cut, the ninja knew he neeed to cover all the "weapons" manny had available. Swinging his next attack not for manny but for his blade, the ninja aimed to hide his technique, Folding lips, in what appeared to be a half a** block/strike/sloppyness. Instead, if the blades hit his opponents weapon would likely be ripped from his grasp.
even if it missed the weapon, and the tip touched the arm carrying the weapon, then the arm would get smacked away as well, further discombobulating his opponent. I mismatched manny was a good opponent to be able to break down.

Manfread saw the incoming blade with his byakugan, shifting his feet he brought up his knee in attempt to shoushitsu (Raising knee) into the flat of San's blade. His knee connected a second too late to avoid the attack completely and his arm was cut blood slowly oozed out. Dropping his sword Manfread jumped back avoiding San's sudden onslaught, landing a few feet away he jammed a fist into the ground and tried to pulse chakra into it. Lifting a small hunk of dirt he tossed it at San.

Unsatisfied with that he jumped back a bit more and started a barrage of dirt balls. He grabbed more earth, this time a bit more and chucked it at San. The balls were slowly getting bigger.

Getting angry with his small dirt balls, Manfread smashed his fists into the ground and tore out a big chunk of dirt. Hurling it at San, he reached for more.

Finally Manfread ripped a massive piece of earth out of the ground and held it above his head.
“Eat dirt!!!!” he cried as he hurled it at San. The field was full of holes now and dirt was flying everywhere, but Manfread could now pull the out the big chunck.

San could only smile, as he used his particle technique and fast footwork to find his ways around the dirt. Did this become a mud slinging match? San didnt think they were politicians.
It was funny, because Manny had decided to use a ninjutsu based attack. This would be his interesting, as San tried to use only his buki or his taijutsu, but had a feeling that he would eventually use them as well.
It was fun watching his friend grow. He had been such a nuisance! Many had almost fought his brother in the first few missions they had started.
It seemed he had come a long way with his training, not only physically but mentally. He seemed to be taking his jonin rank seriously, and San appreciated that. Suna could always use another good ninja.
Yet he wasn't finished yet. Using sword swipes, the ninja's training in shunkan no hagane gave him the vorpal blade, allowing him to cut the dirt that was thrown around him with easy. When the enemy threw even more, he had to get creative.
Using his Defense of steel, the ninja rushed forward and sliced his blade clean through the massive rock being thrown at him, the air around his blade being so crips that it even seperated and pushed the rock harmlessly away from him. Landing and bursting forward, the sannin closed the distance. It was time to use the new technqiue.
closing the distance in a moment, San chose not to use art of joint control. This was a spar, not a fight. Besides, he had to see how his new technique would work against a opponent. if it could work against manny, it could work agaisnt any other person it was meant to work against.
With a satisfaction and gleen in his eye, the ninja did a fast and fluid full circle draw slash, aiming to cut manny in as many places as he could, from one wrist, across the abdomen to the other arm and wrist with the technique "lovers tongue". His cut was aimed shallow, as he didnt want his vorpal blade to cut clean through the kid and have to have James heal him. That seemed like a waste of a ninja.
How would Manny react to this? How was he feeling about San using Buki/taijutsu? He knew that Manny using ninjutsu felt weird, but still cool in the sense that he could use it....

Manny was always thankful he was born with the Byakugan. Being able to see through things you chuck at an enemy was hand, especially when the enemy chopped through it and charged you. Before San had reached him Manfread, ramming his hands into the earth forced chakra into the ground, with a pulse dirt and mud started to wrap around them.

Judging distance with his byakugan and keeping his hands in the ground as San swiftly approached, Manfread forced more dirt around his arms. Layering it and trying to stabilize the earthen gloves. But San was charging to quickly ripping his arms up he tried to deflect the sword with his new armour. The blade started to pass through them effortlessly and Manfread suddenly vanished in a puff of smoke. The sound of steel on steel reverberated through out the dojo, and as smoke cleared Manny's sword stood where he had been.

Having just substituted with his sword Manny wrapped earth around his arms again. Stabilizing them much faster, he bolted at San who was facing the other direction now. It wouldn't really matter though, because San didn't use his eyes to see, getting in real close, Manfread tried to embraced San and so he could crush him with Hasai Houyou (Crushing Hug). With his earth gloves reinforcing his arms Manny thought it would work well.

╚══════════════════════════════════════════╝ San was afraid that it would get cold soon. Not because Manny was in a good position, but because he had used ninjutsu and tactics. Did hell freeze over?
It was interesting to see manny actually use a tactic. In some ways, it was almost scary. The kid could go from pure all out assault to being an actual ninja.
We was swift as a coursing river. He had the strength of the great typhone. And he had the byakugan!
This would make for an ugly mess, and San was thankful he was at his level of experience so he had delt with pains in his a** before. If Many "really" kicked it into gear, he would have to break his promise and use ninjutsu. That would hurt San, but he would be happy for Manny.
It would show that the ninja was growing, and that he then had to force San back into his element. To be that good at something as to dominate a range, as San prided himself on being able to attack and defend at all ranges, was quite a feat. Cuddos to manny.
San decided to use his new technique, the last one in stage 5 of Kiss of flesh and steel. Dropping his blade but bringing up his foot the ninja maintained pressure on his opponents blade and allowed it to drop, now deadlocked between him and the ground. Manny was a taijutsu person, but getting rid of this massive sword as a victory for San.
Thankful for his particle technique and Biosense again, the ninja knew exactly were Manny had went off to. HE WAS USING NINJUTSU AGAIN! Hell had to have frozen over...or manny was finally waking up.
This could get ugly. If the jonin got proficient at longer range, or even short range augmentation ninjutsu then he could really become a power house. With a satisfied smile, the ninja read his opponent and knew what he had to do perfectly.
Using an older technique in Kiss of flesh and steel, the sannin quickly move out to the side with some bursting footwork, then grabbed onto mannies outstretched arm and threw a powerful kick, using the technique "Broken hearts kiss." Unfortunately for manny, San also knew the technique "leaf strong whirlwind" as a formless technique and aimed it right for the floating rib of the hyuuga.

As San grabbed Manny's arm, he grabbed San's and held on tight. The two would be locked in close range until they both let go. As San's foot came in to kick him and Manfread punched his foot with the earthen gloves. The earth shattered after impact but that was ok, they were in his range now.
Manny planted his feet and swung his other arm in a low arc raising it up in order to slam it into San. Letting go just before impact so he could hopefully send San flying, Manfread then ducked down and planted his hands in the earth. Dirt wrapped around his arms and solidified into a nasty looking armour.

When Manny grabbed San back, he knew that s**t would get tight. However, the sannin had faith in his taijutsu and bukijutsu training to not get absolutely mauled at this distance. Hopefully he was right.
Manny's punch indeed stopped his kick, but San had also stopped his jutsu. In many ways, this was a good stalemate for the two of them. Satisfied witht he outcome, the ninja allowed his reflexis to move him, as he coudlnt stay still long.
Seeing as they were in a dead lock, the ninja found this acceptable to continue to use his Kiss of Flesh and steel training. Using an loose brush parry like he would find in Pi Qua Quan, but the technique came straight out of Shunkan no hagane. Using "deflection two", the ninja was able to slightly alter the course of upward swing attack to graze just past his ear instead of into his stomach.
The finding it appropriate to use his "accidental kiss" technique, the ninja backflipped away, leaving his foot to attempt to catch Manny in the jaw as he tried to leave the distance. Using his magnetic ability, he pulled his sword back to his grasp and sank into a ready stance.
San was preparing to use...THAT...technique. He observed many lace his hands into his the ground, and could only assume that he was using another doton technique. Fun then, San could deal with that himself. Bast, Mam, and Him were Suna's resident Doton specialists.
If manny wanted to use his element, he better make good use of it. San was well versed in the art of doton, jsut like Manny was versed in taijutsu. It was an interesting battle so far, using eachothers specialties.....

Manfread had narrowly avoided a foot in the mouth, but San had brushed his chin. Walking up to his sword he grabbed it and swung it on his back. He suddenly slammed his sword into the ground and debris flew up into the air, vision would be obscured for normal eyes.

Manfread did it again, this time adding chakra to the attack. He beat the ground messing with his opponent's line of vision, but that was not the purpose of this. Shock waves could be felt radiating from his blade but San was too far to be affected. He might not even feel it yet.
Slamming his blade into the ground with tremendous strength the ground split and seethed, rocks were flying up in chunks. And Manny use this to his advantage, using Void fist he hammered at the flying stone and sent them San's way. It was a natural shrapnel gun.
Smashing the ground with his sword one last time he ignited the explosive tag that he usually attached to the tip. As a shock wave spewed forwards earth shot up into the air and Manny took a step forwards before unleashing Rotation. It was a hurricane of flying rocks! All headed for San.
Grabbing his sword Manfread charged in behind the mist of dirty death, slamming his at San's feet and releasing chakra he would crumble the Sannin's footing.

Planting his feet Manfread created a divination field and hammered away at San. Two, four, eight and so on. Until he had fully unleashed 64 palms!

San took the extra time from manny and decided it was time to activate "instant of steel." It seemed he was going to need it now more then every, as manny seemed to be planning an aweful powerful frontal assault. Normally he could use a few good ninjutsu, but he had said he wouldnt use ninjutsu this time around....
Although the ground around San seemed to be crumbling apart, it seemed as if his footing was not gonna be broken. Between the solid footing, and thread walking training from Shunkan...his efforts were futile to ******** with him. This was good for San, because he had his footing and manny was going to charge.
the chunks of rock at him were a nuisance. Using the technqiue brush strokes, the bonus of instant of steel along with his new and improved reflexis made all of the debree look like it was moving in slow motion. with the bonus of final words, the sannin was able to fluidly chop away at all the things aiming to hit him, keeping himself unschated. Then came manny...
then performing his next KOFAS tehcnique, the ninja side stepped the attack but got closer to the ninja, using his ultra reflexis to figure out where his attack was going. Slamming his blade down on the descent of mannies, he hit wit the power to completely offset his footing, possibly causing him to fall to the ground. if he didnt have a strong grip on his weapon which manny probably did, then it would disarm him, but the tip of the blade would go under his now offset self.....this would be interesting to see what happened next

As San tried to knock the blade out of Manfread's hand he decided not to resist, letting the blade go he executed a near flawless Pick Axe elbow aimed at San's chest. Then he pivoted slightly and stepped in closer, bringing his other arm up in a palm strike aiming for San's chest in the super close range they were about to enter.

San's perception of time was greatly scewed. His reactions to the whole world seemed to be on par with lightning, and technically he could still go faster. As interesting as this was, Manny was still a real threat.
San observed the elbow of manny, and moved his body away and yielded to most of the strike. It hit him square, though with alot less force then what Manny would have liked. when San saw the other palm strike comming in, he knew exactly what he would do.
San allowed manny to think his palm strike struck. He fell over abruptly, into the soft broken up floor. Yet this was just him playing.
He had used the technqiue "hickey" and made an over exaggerated dodge to fall to the ground. Using his super reflexis again, the moment he struck the ground the ninja was whipping a fluid full circle kick aiming to sweep manny from his feet. He ended in the one nee position, with another attack in mind.
Molding chakra into his hand, the ninja aimed a full power Oukasho for the center of the Hyuuga's chest. Even if the sweep didnt hit the hyuuga, San's fast burst would place the punch at the stomach of Manny who would still be standing. The combo was fast, and San's reflexis would make it seem like it was one motion.
Hopefully, the hyuuga would be able to move. Next attempt San would be puling out "that" technique. He was almost done with KOFAS....

Manfread seemed to hit with his attacks, but something didn't feel right. It was Manny's byakugan that saved him, as San went to sweep his feet out from under him Manfread jumped into the air. A bad decision, as San's next attack came right for him. Crossing his arms he took the blow in the arms and was blasted backwards. Landing on his feet Manfread winced, that one would have hurt a hell of a lot more had he not been wearing the Earthen gloves. The armour crumpled and fell back to the ground.
“One of these days San,” Manfread said japping a palm-uppercut into the air, “POW!!! right to the moon!!”
Focusing chakra into his palm Manfread shifted forwards and launched something more than just a void fist, the power behind it was immense, but it fell short of his target.

Manny's words hit the sannin, causing a smile to course over his face. The kid had spunk, he gave him that. Maybe james could bottle and sell the determination in this hyuuga.
"The day you send me to the moon is the day you become the teacher. and frankly.....you have to wait your turn in line! Eat this!"
San finally decided to try his new technique. The last techique in KOFAS, called farewell kiss. Hopefully he could control it right...or manny wouldnt be amongst them any longer.
It was time to show manny how much the sannin had grown. Focusing his chakra into his sword, San was about to begin the attack. In a simple thrust of his blade, a cyclone of chakra came off of his blade in a tornado like fashion that could shred anything from flesh to steel.
"Manny move! Dont try to block this one! You will die!!!!"
