Liplopman Ravenclaw, 2nd Year
Nam looked up from his conversation with Ciara and Chibi and oriented himself to face Dorian. "Well... I do. But I don't know if you'll want me as a partner. I'm awful at spell work. There's another new girl in here who probably needs a partner too." The way Dorian was handling his wand made him think of a strict teacher with a yard stick, or a military man with a flog.
edit: Nam smiled serenly at Ciara. "You do have a sort of grace about you. Perhaps not the swooshy perfect kind, by the gentle careful kind."  "Hello, professor... thank you" Dorian greeted reverently and smiled politely. "Um...which new girl exactly?" he turned to Nam
and raised his eyebrow, then placed his wand back inside his pocket.

Ciara blushed deeply, her cheeks a bright crimson she tried desperately to hide.
"You, you think so?" she stammered. Such a compliment had never been paid to her before.

Ravenclaw, 2nd Year
"A gryffindor. I think her name's Alex. She was practicing some random spells by herself. Seems she's left for today though." He looked around the classroom one more time to be sure. " ... I-I don't know, maybe she's just gone off to the bathroom..." He mumbled hopefully. He really did want to practice, but he didn't want to make a fool of himself or cast any accidentally harmful spells on Dorian. He was starting to think rather highly of him.
Nam seemed to be making girls blush left and right today. He hoped he wasn't leading any one on, he just honestly thought they were all beautiful wonderful people. "I do. Really. You're very considerate." Ciara could use as much head inflation as he could give her.

Ciara smiled, although she wasn't sure if he could tell since she had taken to burring face in her hands in a vane attempt to hide her growing blush.
"I don't know about all that," she said, her voice somewhat muffled, "I can be plenty selfish."

He chuckled comfortably. "Well. Any one can be. I bet even Joan of Ark stole a cookie from the cookie jar, if you know what I mean." It was rather cute really, the way she was closing her hands over her face like a clam. His face was inches from hers, trying to get a glimpse at her reddening face. He'd never seen any one with a reaction quite like this.
But then Dorian had willing called him out. No matter how much he dreaded it, he really should. And he looked too excited to mill about and keep him waiting. "Wish me luck." He mumbled to Ciara and went to face him. Dorian was good at all his other classes, he was sure this would be no different. He'd have the spell down on the first try. He pulled his long walnut wand from his back pocket and aimed it at the ready. "Would you like to try finite first?"

Dorian had taken fencing lessons in the past and this was not much different. Save that instead of swords they had wands and magic...but essentially the same."Hit me" he uttered in a challenging yet playful tone

Ciara nodded but didn't lower her hands as she could almost feel him staring. She felt her face get hotter as her blush grew, if possible, even more than it had previously. She peeked through her fingers at him as she felt him draw back, but squeaked when she saw he was still watching her.
"G-good luck Nam," she stammered, trying to get her blush to recede even the slightest bit.

Noting his "opponent's" stance, he took similar form (though he had no training in fencing, so he probably did it all wrong) and did a swish and a forward jab with his wand. "Rictumsempra!" The tickling spell pounced at the ready boy.

Lesson eight
Spells
10 points to Dorian and Nam for performing you spells! Well, time for another lesson! First and second years:So, you shall be learning the slug-vomiting jinx, today. This jinx is a spell that causes the victim to start vomiting slugs and green slime and the incantation is slugulus eructo. You will be performing the spell on statues *Points to a line of statues against the wall* as I don’t think any of you want to be vomiting slugs and slime for a while today.. Any questions? If not, you may begin. *Waves wand and the statues start to move* Third and fourth years:The spell you all will be learning today is the blasting curse, which is like a more powerful version of the blasting charm, which you have learned a few lessons back. It causes the targeted object or anything that touches the spell to explode and the incantation is confringo. You will practice the spell on rocks in the school grounds once again. Any questions? Alright then! Follow me! *I lead the way through the castle and once outside, I turn around and adress the class once again* Don't forget to stay at a good distance from the rock you are exploding, which are over there *Points to a area in the school grounds away from the castle where a row of rocks can be seen* Who would like to go first? I will cast a shield charm so the rock pieces can not hurt you once the rock explodes. Fifth, sixth and seventh years:Alright. What you shall be learning today is the spell incarcerous. The incantation is incarcerous and its use is to conjure ropes which can then be used to tie up someone. I have asked the Headmistress, Sing, if she thought it would be alright if you practised the spell in pairs.. When I get the answer, I will tell you if you can or not. Until then, you will be practising the spell on statues. *Points to statues line up against a wall* Any questions? If not, you may begin. *Waves wand and the statues begin to move* (Thx, Nam. It is, in fact, lesson eight..)

Callysto smirked, 'a spell to conjure ropes?' she licked her lips, imagining the many reasons she could use the spell. 'and I know just who I want to be my partner.' her eyes glittered and she shot a look to Chibi. Standing up, she walked up to a statue, pulling out her wand as she did so. "Incarcerous!" She shouted, ropes flew from the end of her wand and draped themselves across the unmoving form. "That won't do..." she muttered.
