Now Got your tummy all in knots No way I don’t need no pillow talk No, no You’re gonna need a new compass To follow me now I’m gone Hey Tell me are you in or are you out Give you something to talk about On the edge of doubt
Lilith Cosette Petran The Red Queen Lilith chose to ignore the faint throbbing in her neck after she had pulled his lips away from the skin he had been working on. She'd find a way to look at it before her next class. At the moment, it could go ignored. She mentally noted to return the gesture later. That thought alone was enough to revive Logical, and then some, and boy, was she livid.
Despite her rage, Logical knew it was best to keep her opinionated mouth shut, lest she be knocked out once again. So, she resulted to sulking in her favorite little corner. Lilith would come to her senses soon enough and that would put Lovey back in her place. However, Lovey begged to differ. She knew that Lil was enjoying the time she was spending with Cam, why would she give that up so quickly and easily?
Lilith decided to let the two continue their musings, as she did the same herself. While Cam was busy taking the chip from her hand, she thought on what had just happened. She had actually gotten him to react to her in a very similar way in which she had responded to him when he pulled away from their kiss. That left her and Lovey glowing with pride, in a small way. She would have never dreamed that she'd be able to get the Cheshire Cat to gasp like that, let alone that they'd be kissing.
That might have been a reason why she was a bit surprised that he stole a quick kiss from her before she could snatch up her water. That had only helped with the blush that she had while she was drinking. "That's one thing that I wish I wasn't right about..." She mumbled softly, brushing his bangs out of his face for him, smiling softly.
However, her smile was quickly cracked, due to the laughter that escaped her lips as he played with the hair at the nape of her neck. What? Lil couldn't help that her neck was extremely ticklish. Her head titlted up in an attempt to bend her neck just so so that the tickling sensation would disappear, much like someone would hold their arms tightly to their torso if under their arms was a bit tiklish.
Crap, he found one of her tickle spots. Usually, she could ignore the sensation, but he had caught her off guard. Due to that, she could not resist the urge to laugh. It bubbled up and escaped her lips in an infectious way. In fact, she laughed just enough to cause her to nearly fall out of Cam's lap.
To prevent herself from falling, she quickly leaned herself toward Cam to balance herself, wrapping her arms around his neck. She knew he wouldn't fall, what with his impeccable balance and all, so she buried her head in the crook of his neck until she felt that she wasn't going to cause herself bodily harm by sitting up. Once she did, she looked at him, embarassed and thankful.
"Congratulations...you've just managed to tickle the Red Queen...a remarkable feat..." She said before laughing just for the fun of it. It was all a bit confusing, to be honest. She felt happy, and was actually acting like it. Yes, she had probably gone mad. About damn time if that was how she was going to be about the whole thing.
Lili smirked as she realized that before her laughing bout, he had mentioned tasting better than her water once again. Well, she knew one way to answer that prior question. "Hmm...Well...Honestly, Cam..." she paused for a bit of a dramatic effect. She figured him of all people would understand that. "I haven't tasted all of you....yet..." She stated, kissing him briefly on the lips.
Once she pulled away, there was a familiar feeling presenting itself. One that Lili wished she didn't have what so ever. Logical looked up from her corner, knowing herself why Lili didn't like this apprehension manifesting in her. Logical tsked, that was exactly why she had been warning Lilith against her actions with Cam. It happened every time. Lovey wouldn't have known that, what with being locked up for so long. Just another reason to keep Lovey out of the picture. She was so out of the loop, she'd just cause trouble.
Regardless of that fact, Lilith managed to ignore that particular feeling, shoving it aside. She smiled brightly at Cam, as if nothing peculiar had crossed her mind. Despite that, she knew that it would best to remove herself from the current situation at hand. So, her fingers trailed quickly along his jawline as she bit her lip, seconds before she stood up carefully, not wanting to klutz out and fall.
"So, I'll get back to you with the answer once I have...I'm sure you understand..." She stated, throwing her bag back over her shoulder and grabbing her tasteless water. Lil figured she already had an answer to that dilemma, but she wasn't going to tell him just yet. "Now, I have some things to attend to before I head off to third...I'll see you at lunch.." She said her goodbye, even though she didn't count on him letting her leave so easily.
To be honest, Lilith found it a bit hard to just leave. She knew he'd see her hesitation, but it really didn't matter. After a brief moment, she leaned over and kissed his forehead before forcing herself to turn and walk out of the dusty stairwell and on her way back to her room. Make you fall like domino Oh baby boy Make you fall like domino You don’t have a choice From LA to New York I don’t want a trail of hearts Play you like a game tonight Watch you fall down, down, down just like… Dominos

The smart boy that Ryan was, he watched in horror as the naked outlaw proceeded to swap spit with his sister. It was not a pleasant sight. A sight even worse then this though was watching the tall red haired girl leave him alone in the room with said outlaw. Robin hood seemed slightly confused and a bit out of it.... the god was not having the best day. Ryan watched as Robin put a hand to his lips and closed his eyes... his movements were slow and fluid, he was definitely tripping on something. The ginger got up and left with out so much as a good bye to the boy who had just kissed his sister. The door closed with a 'click' behind him.
The hallway was not heavily populated at the moment. A few students were fetching things from their rooms but most where probably grabbing a snack or something. Ryan didn't really think much about it, he was thinking about how his sister, his twin, could just leave him like she had... Did she not know that he was still very much distressed? Of course she knew, she just didn't care. She was probably over his pity parties. The boy frowned and put his hands in his pockets he found a flash drive and a stick of gum. It was big red gum... the best kind in his book. The lone foil wrapped stick of cinnamon gum was skillfully opened and folded in half before being placed into Ryan's immaculately clean mouth. He was big on dental hygiene.
the gum was spicy but not to much so, it was also sweet with out being fruity. it was perfect... It took his mind off his sister, and off of Martin, and off of the day's events. It took his mind of of his failings. The ginger continued on down the hall, he had a little bit of time before his next class... and he didn't want to go to his room again, so he decided to take the long way around until he got to the classroom.
Rounding the corner a few minutes later he was pleasantly surprised to see, very handsome young man with messy hair and a smirk that made a shiver run up his spin. The god stopped dead in his tracks and glanced behind himself then back at Cam. They were alone in the hallway and the dark haired boy in his current state was mind bogglingly... interesting. Yeah, interesting. Ryan was interested.
"Cam, you're looking a little... messy. What happened?"
The boy walked to stand beside his friend and looked down at him a calculated distance between them so that there would be no accidental touching of hands or anything else for that matter. Ryan put on hand in his back pocket and the other played with the collar of his shirt. The ginger took note that Cam's shirt collar looked stretched and wrinkled... What in the world had he been doing?.... It suddenly occurred to Ryan that Cam may have been getting close with a certain young woman in the resent past.
The god blushed and dropped his hand from his collar, dropping his gaze as well to study the floor rather then the boy's person. It didn't take him long to wounder how far he got with Lilith. second base? Maybe. It was probably just more making out though. She would like that... anyone would with Cam's full beautiful lips and his flawless face... and his strong slender hands... And his handsome dark hair... And his teeth. Ryan bit his tongue lightly in thought before speaking.
"So are you two... a thing?"
Ryan glanced back up at the boy's eyes looking like he was trying to act natural like he didn't care but there was some hope there that he still had a chance. That he would be able to ever do anything with Cam was a dream at best, but it had more ground if Cam wasn't dating Lilith.

Randall Tripp Kensington Randy was starting to get a little annoyed with all the surprises that he was getting bombarded with today. Today was just not a good day for him was it? "Well that wasn't quite what I was expecting." He'd actually hoped it had something to do with Ryan and how she was worried for him. This though...this made him feel angry and he didn't really understand why. "Well, it was good that you left before he tried to do anything else. If he was that out of it, then it was better for you to leave before something else happened."
Without really meaning to, he just let go of her hand and shoved it in his pocket. He continued walking down the hall waiting to see if a particular short blonde or brunette passed by and said, "Try to bring someone other than Ryan the next time you see him, 'kay? Maybe they'll have better luck at keeping Stephen from pulling those stunts. Drugged or not, that's no way to treat a girl."
It wasn't that he didn't trust Roxy to take care of herself - he knew she could do that just fine. But when it came to simple manners, he liked to open doors for girls and compliment them. He had them and he used them. Nakedly kissing a girl without her permission (shock does not equal permission) is not good manners. That kinda made him want to hit Stephen, but Robin Hood already had enough brain damage. He didn't need to add to that.
Maybe at a later date.
“It’s over and done with yeah? So try and forget about it.” He might have said more, but he had a class that he needed to get to. He hadn’t found either of his compatriots and being around Roxy felt a little awkward. It probably felt just as bad for her. “Hey, we only got a few minutes before class. You better head on to class before you get in trouble,” he said lightly. He was going to skip his class and continue to try to find Pan. She had to be around here somewhere…
He gave a two fingered salute and said, “See ya later Roxy.” He started to walk in the direction that would lead him outside. Maybe Polly decided to go to their clubhouse. Argh, it was raining. Oh the things he’d do for friends…

☁☁☁ You sound so innocent All full of good intent You swear you know best But you expect me to Jump up on board with you And ride off into your delusional sunset I'm not the one who's lost With no direction, oh But you'll never see
Delia Roxanne Platt ☽ Artemis ☾ Roxy wasn't completely surprised that Randy admitted that he hadn't expected to hear that Stephen had kissed her. Hence one of the reasons that she didn't want to tell him about it. She kind of wanted to forget it as well. With some luck, Stephen wouldn't remember it at all, he was flying high enough that it was a possibility. "See...neither was I...and here we are..." She stated with a shrug. "Though, I don't think he would have tried doing anything else...he was pretty out of it..."
For some reason, Roxy found herself frowning slightly as Randy unexpectedly let go of her hand. She didn't really know why, but she did. Roxy kept pace with Randy as they walked down the hall. She raised an eyebrow as he suggested that she bring someone else other than Ryan with her the next time she decided to pay the doped up Robin Hood a visit. "Well, to be honest...the only person I could really think of to come with me other than Ryan would be you..." It was true. The redhead didn't really have that many friends that she'd trust in that kind of a situation. Kind of her own fault, really, but still.
"And believe me, I'm gonna try and forget about it...I just hope Stephen doesn't remember. Cause, to be honest, that's gonna be awkward if he does..." She stated, running a hair through her bangs to push them out of her face. He distracted her when he brought up the fact that it wasn't too long before they had to go to class. Great. First getting kissed unexpectedly by Stephen, now she had to go to class.
Now, if it was any other class, she'd be fine, but it was Home Economics. That was Roxy's absolute least favorite class ever. It made her feel like she was being forced into the kitchen to make sandwiches for all the males at the school. It was not her place at all. However, she had to take it due to the fact that Artemis was also the goddess of childbirth.
"Agh, don't remind me, you know how much I hate home ec., I'd rather skip it altogether..." She stated, doing her best to keep her eye from twitching. She took a deep breath and gave Randy a quick hug before he said his goodbyes. "Thanks, Randy...good luck finding Pol or Andee...." she stated before turning to head towards the home economics classroom. Might as well get that class over with. Then there was lunch. You're so busy makin' maps With my name on them in all caps You've got the talkin' down, just not the listening And who cares if you disagree You are not me Who made you king of anything So you dare tell me who to be Who died And made you king of anything ☁☁☁

If you could see me Whoever I am. It's not like the movies, but it's not all skin and bones. So come on love (come on, come one, come all and go) Nah nah nah nah nah nah nah I will not let you go After all the shows, after all the boys of summer had gone, amid all the confusion and friends I've been losing I always thought from the start I'd be the one moving on.
Orin Taranis LaSalle The March Hare Orin had basically been out of mind and out of sight for the past few days. It had been the anniversary of his dad's death, and he had nearly forgotten. That in itself was enough to send him into a bit of a relapse. He kept himself holed up in his room, going through his collection of souvenir spoons and polishing them to perfection. After that had been completed, he went on to re-organize his closet. This time by style of shirt and then color instead of by color alone.
He managed to keep himself fed with the little assortment of food he had in his mini-fridge. Also, he kept himself awake with a strong brew of tea. Orin had straightened up and reorganized anything he could get his hands on. It was therapeutic for him. Now, since he had gotten it out of his system, he was heading out to class for the first time in nearly a week. It was no problem though, his teachers were used to this sort of thing and they just sent his assignments to him through the school email. He'd complete them, then send them back.
As he walked through the halls, he kept an eye out for two of his friends: Marty and Ryan, and others from his story: Cam and Scarlet. He wasn't really looking for the Red Queen, seeing as he wasn't really in 'Through The Looking Glass'. He felt out of the loop and, though it was his own fault, he wanted some social interaction. Unfortunately, he didn't catch sight of any of them on his way to his Literature class.
What he did catch, though, were some whispers about a fight earlier that morning. Usually he'd just ignore them, not caring to know the details, but the fact that one of his friends names was mentioned, he couldn't help but to focus his hearing on anything related to the rumors. Though he was worried for Martin, he knew his friend was quite capable of taking care of himself. Still, he'd like to find Marty and make sure he was alright.
Before he knew it, Orin had arrived at his class. Since the break was still going on, there really wasn't anyone else in the classroom except for one sole individual. The Wicked Queen from the story of Snow White. Now, Orin personally thought that she was miscast for her role. Sierra was, in his opinion, prettier than Bianca. Not that his thoughts on the matter really would make a difference. Now, usually, he wouldn't have troubled the girl, but he had heard things before. Things that hinted that Marty and Sierra knew each other. Maybe she could ease his worries about his friend.
Instead of taking his seat, he took a deep breath and approached the queen. "Excuse me, Miss Sierra...I know I don't usually speak to you, but I have a question to ask. Do you know if my friend, Martin Chevalier, is alright after this morning's events?" He asked, British accent evident. He noted that she had been reading a letter, but he kept his eyes away from the paper, not wanting to seem nosy. Though, he could detect a faint smell of chocolate around her person. Possibly coming from the parcel. Yet again, it was of no concern of is.
I guess I'll never know Where all the boys of summer will go but I'll miss what we made and the days were not wasted. There are some things I may never know. How you lost your mind and your wrists got bruised and you wanted better love well it's sleeping your bedroom. Hold on, Stay on my side, Don't go.

ooooooooooooo M a r t i n oooooooooooooooooooooooooo C h e v a l i e r “Daft Punk is awesome. Deadmau5 is pretty good, and the soundtrack for Run Lola Run is good for running truth be told.” Martin stared at the girl and lightly chuckled at her lame joke. It was so bad, it almost gave itself credit. He listened to her carefully and noticed that she was avidly trying to avoid looking at him….oh right!
Martin went to check on his wet shirt to see if it had dried out yet. While not completely dry, it was enough that it wouldn’t bother Martin at all and make sure that Andee stopped feeling uncomfortable. He quickly put on the shirt and felt somewhat better about wearing it. Sure it was a little wet and cold, but it was better than keeping his scars out for her to see.
Now that he was properly dressed, he went to go and sit on the couch where Andee was waiting. She mentioned the barn project but that hadn’t been what she wanted help with. Then what- “Drama?” Uhhhh that wasn’t exactly his forte. Fighting? Easy. Manual labor? Not hard at all. Protection? Not usually what he used his fighting for, but yeah. Cussing someone out? His pleasure entirely. Standing up in front of an audience wearing some kind of costume reciting lines? Nooooot something he was all that interested in doing. However, he did say he would help and he’d already decided he would help.
So if he had to stand up in front of an audience wearing some kind of costume reciting lines, that was exactly what he was going to do.
Getting Sierra to do it would be a little difficult. “Well I’m in. But you’re gonna have to tell me a bit more about this project in order to figure out the best way to get Sierra in on it. If you haven’t noticed, she’s not the dramatic type.” It could be argued that her angry and snobby self was one way of being dramatic, but he doubted that was what Andee wanted. “So tell me this first off, is she gonna have to do a lot of dancing and moving around? ‘Cause I don’t think she’s in any shape to be doing a lot of that. And are either of us gonna have to wear tights?” He was not all that fond of tights. They were weird and unusual and he had no idea how girls could wear those things without tearing them. That material looked extremely flimsy.
Okay, he needed to get back on track. Drama project. Him and Sierra needed. Right. “And last question, when would this be happening?”

I do what I want and I get what I want when I want it, w-want it, w-want it. Im not gonna stop til I get what you got til I got it, g-got it, g-got it. What do I do with a boy, with a boy like you. Got me lost, got me hooked. Now Im so confused. Was this apart of your plan? I dont really understand. What to do, what to do with a boy like you. (Oh!) With a boy like you. (Oh!) With a boy like you.
Andromeda Fae Bearie Tinkerbell Andee looked at him briefly and noted that he had put his shirt back on. Awe. Well, it was probably for the best. It would keep her mind on the task at hand and prevent it from making its way into the gutter. Absently, she picked up a pencil and begin to mess with it. Once again, some part of her always had to be in motion, she couldn't stand staying still unless she was asleep, even then, she tossed and turned a fair amount.
"Ya didn't have to put your shirt back on...you know..." She mumbled, hopefully, inaudibly. Andee was glad that he had taken a seat on the couch. It was rather comfortable for an ragged, worn down, old thing. At his first words after her asking about the project, she tensed a little, prepared for the words she thought she'd hear next. He paused for a moment, so she took the opportunity to add something in there. "Before you say no, just remember, Chuck Norris acted....I think you can handle doing one skit..." She noted with a smirk.
The fairy's face lit up instantly as he said he'd help. "Yes! Thank you times infinity!" She exclaimed. "As for what it's going to entail exactly, I'm not sure yet. I'll have to get with the two of you so we can actually brainstorm. And we only have a couple of weeks. Longer than any usual assignment of the sort, however, we do have to bring in others that aren't in our class, so it's logical. Oh, and I sorta have a favor to call in on Sierra, so I think it won't be too hard for us to get her to help."
With that hurriedly said, Andee walked over and took a seat on the couch a respective distance away from Martin. "We've just gotta be really good. Not only is my grade depending on it, but I can't have Cam outdoing me. No matter what, I'll figure out something....No, you won't have to wear tights...goodness...what kind of person do you think I am that you'd even have to ask that question?" She teased with the last sentence. "I'm not going to throw you that far out of your comfort zone. Besides, you don't have the legs for them..."
With that being said, she couldn't help but burst out into laughter. She couldn't even mentally picture Martin wearing tights. It was just too weird. Once she caught her breath, she smiled and looked at him. "Besides, you look fine the way you are, I'd want to put you in a costume that would compliment that, not make you feel awkward, and look awkward as well...." It was true. Just as she was nit-picky with her shop projects, she was just the same with her drama ones. Plus, that was one way to tell him she thought he looked hot without really putting it that way.
"Oh, and speaking of Sierra, what's the relationship between you two, if you don't mind me asking? I never really know that you two knew each other before last night. It's certainly not a new thing, by the way you act around each other. You seem as if you could be siblings, really..." She chattered on, following her train of thought. "Feel free to deflect the question if you'd like...I'm just curious." Im gonna win. Boy, your game is over. Try to play. But youre down 10-1. Keep the change. You wont know what hit cha. Youre not fooling anyone. I do what I want and I get what I want when I want it, w-want it, w-want it. Im not gonna stop til I get what you got til I got it, g-got it, g-got it.

『 ✖ MARCEL J. CASSILEN ✖』
|| тнe ᴅevιʟ || He felt like he was drowning. Every breathe was a struggle as his eyes moved in a frantic daze for whatever had awoken him from his impromptu slumber. The chilly wind had now taken a frigged turn in the few minutes that had passed. So much so that his skin had turned numb under the bluster of the wind. He couldn’t rightly remember when he had fallen under the command of the sandman. All that he could tell from the slight shift in light was that some time had passed. Maybe a few moments at the most. And the storm had taken a small turn for the worst. Lightening struck again, this time closer to his safe haven than before. The obvious cause to his night terror. As his fuzzy mind put together this information a irritated sigh worked past his lips. What the hell was he doing? Startling at the least bit of light and rain. What was he? Some kind of child?
"Dammit...."
And yet there it was. Some small bit of childlike fear hidden deep behind his stone façade. He knew the reason behind such a reaction, the more than likely cause, but something within him refused to acknowledge such a thing. It seemed to scream of weakness and worthlessness. So it was with a shaky sigh that he pulled himself together, his hand absentmindedly rising to rub at a pain just at his hairline. A clear sign of a future headache. He was already dreading its arrival and it had not yet reached its fruition. No matter his coming pains he still climbed to his feet. His grip uncaring as he snatched his jacket from the cold level of the gazebo floor and his sketch pad following its predecessor quickly after.
When he had finally gathered all of his belongings he then stepped away from the gazebo forcefully. There was no hesitation. Only a steely determination quite unlike the turmoil that broiled just under the surface of his brooding mind. His clothes were quickly soaked. He jacket providing little shelter considering its useless position under his arm. And still there was no sign of discomfort as he walked briskly toward the Academy in the drilling rain.
The walk toward the entry doors was short. Not because of its lack of distance but more because of his firm stride that quickly ate at the ground and gave way. By the time he entered inside the school he was wet beyond reason, properly drenched to the bone. A chill that soaked so far beneath the surface that he became numb to it. He knew that he must look ridiculous. Standing there like a forsaken waif, pitiful and shivering as his body attempted to warm its self again. But he had no one to blame but himself for such a situation. It was his own foolishness that sent him out in such weather in the first place. And it was his further idiocy that allowed him to ignore a perfectly good jacket when he easily had one at his side. It seemed like a unending cycle today. A small series of misfortunes that only seemed to grow in number than reduce. In short it was a bad morning that promised the arrival of a bad day.

{ // Cameron Riley Jones ♥ The Cheshire Cat. Cameron had, without warning, been wrenched away rather forcefully from what was presumably a temporal Lilith-induced daze – though, exactly what the time constraints of 'temporal' entailed would have probably been longer than one would initially imagine when coming across such a word. Unfortunately, along with being torn from the bliss of which he'd never hope to end came a cold dose of reality, dealt out by none other than the very embodiment of rainbows and lollipops himself, Cynical Cam, and he had a plentiful bounty for cases such as the one that Cam had managed to find himself in now.
Needless to say, Cynical was not pleased with the events that were occurring; as far as he was concerned, Lilith was a manipulative wench (though, as could be guessed, those were not the exact words that he'd regarded her with, but Cam refused to acknowledge such a contemptuous phrase when referring to her) and he wanted no part in the inevitable breakdown Cam would experience now that he'd gotten himself in far deeper than either of them had thought possible. Of course, he could never pass up the chance to scorn Cam for his utter idiocy whenever the opportunity presented itself, and took care to mention that he wouldn't have been dragged into the undertow had he listened to him instead of that incompetent fool Confident. No, this could have all been avoided if he'd had the sense to listen to reason, and now he was going to suffer the consequences.
On the other hand, Confident was entirely too busy commending Lilith on her impeccable talent of making Cam lose his train of thought single-handedly to pay much mind to Cynical's incessant rambling about who knows what, nor did he care. The guy wasted a lot of breathe, that was for sure. However, he would gladly humor the other if it would make him shut his goddamn trap.
Cameron offered her a smile reminiscent of her own as she swept his bangs from his face, his gaze softening ever so slightly. Though he failed to catch this slip in his composure, it probably wouldn't matter anyway – after all, he'd made a shameful amount of mistakes keeping his facade up as it was, and under any other circumstances would probably be tempted to jump off a cliff in refusal to let his emotions get the best of him any longer. But maybe...maybe it would be alright to screw up if it were for her.
Cynical's vigorous disagreement be damned.
His moment of weakness had soon been forgotten, however, as he'd suddenly found Lilith losing her balance due to a spontaneous fit of giggles racking her body. He wrapped his arms around her waist in order to prevent her from taking an unfortunate tumble down the stairway as she leaned back towards him, her arms winding around his neck. She hid her face in the crook of his neck, and try as he might he couldn't help the laugh that threatened to escape his lips, despite his bewilderment. He shot her a grin as she looked back up at him after having steadied herself, congratulating him on his accomplishment.
“I'm quite remarkable myself,” he scoffed teasingly, his grin remaining as he rolled his eyes. He cast a glance back to her as she uttered another laugh for reasons unbeknownst to him – why, he'd even dare to say that she was actually happy.
And well...he guessed that he was pretty glad that he could make her feel that way.
However, her next statement threw him for a bit of a loop, and he was rather grateful that he hadn't chosen that particular moment to quench his thirst with a sip of soda, as the caffeinated beverage would have surely been spit out in a comical fashion in shock. As it was, he was trying to cover up the bemused look that had crossed his features at her audacious comment. Though, he had to admit, he did like this more brazen side Lilith was flaunting and had managed to muster up a smirk in response after he'd pulled away from their kiss.
“In due time, Lili,” he remarked as she smiled brightly at him, and sweet Mary and Joseph it was near enough to make him melt into a puddle of what would have been, hands-down, the sappiest goo on the planet. She was just so friggin' adorable.
He supposed it was a good thing that she decided to head on her way when she did, as he wasn't entirely sure he'd have been able to maintain the control he'd been keeping on himself much longer, and he didn't know what to think about that. Deciding to drop the matter entirely, he rose to his feet soon after she'd begun to take her leave, sighing under his breath as he ran his hand through his hair, which was undoubtedly a tragic mess that would surely convince any passer-by that he'd just got done committing sin. He'd definitely have to do some adjusting to his person before next period.
Taking a look towards his opened bag of chips and untouched bottle of soda, he decided that he'd lost his appetite and would instead wait until lunch to eat. Though, considering the show he and Andee would be putting on for the occupants of the cafeteria, there may not be a whole lot of time for that. With that in mind, he took a handful of the chips and unceremoniously scarfed them down and then took a swig of his cola before tossing them both into a trashcan near the stairwell.
Cam looked down the hallway as a familiar face rounded the corner. s**t. He'd been spotted in his...less than presentable state. His smirk fell into place despite himself, though, and he looked up at Ryan, a mischievous glint evident in his eyes before he looked off to the side, shrugging after he pointed out his disheveled demeanor.
“What can I say, I like playing rough,” he snorted and glanced back at him, a grin spreading across his lips as he quirked an eyebrow upwards. “Why? You like it?” he inquired mockingly, referring to his current state of dress.
Cam took note of the distance that Ryan had purposely left between themselves – if he hadn't known any better, he would think that he did such purposely so as to eliminate the possibility of any unintentional touching that may occur otherwise. His grin broadened at the thought as he watched him fiddle with the collar of his shirt, his other hand slipping into his back pocket. He caught him glancing at his own collar, which had probably been stretched out at the hands of a certain someone, looking down to confirm his suspicions.
He looked back up to the bespectacled boy, his eyebrow raising again at the flush staining his cheeks. Judging by his next question, it had only just occurred to him what exactly he'd been doing to wind up looking as he did.
He resisted the urge to laugh at the proposal, a few snickers being released from their imprisonment despite his efforts. Of course they weren't an item – to think that someone like him would even be in the same league as her was insane. He knew he didn't have a chance with her. Though, accepting that fact was an entirely different matter that he didn't care to dwell on at the moment.
“I'm just taking what I can get,” he smirked, meeting Ryan's gaze. “But...” he paused for a moment, chewing on his bottom lip in an attempt to appear contemplative as he looked him up and down none too discreetly before having his gaze meet his, the smirk returning to his lips, “I think I have options if things don't work out.”

Now Got your tummy all in knots No way I don’t need no pillow talk No, no You’re gonna need a new compass To follow me now I’m gone Hey Tell me are you in or are you out Give you something to talk about On the edge of doubt
Lilith Cosette Petran The Red Queen Lilith didn't walk with a quick pace as she left the stairwell. No, she didn't want to get that far away from Cam just yet, for one. Two, her mind was thinking, and since she knew she was prone to accidents, it was best not to rush herself on her way while she was nearly concentrating on something else entirely. Logical had already started rambling on about how the cycle was getting started all over again, and how she had done her hardest to warn Lil, but no, the Queen was too stuck up to listen to her own superego. Truly, if it was all the same, Lovey decided to interject, than Logical should be used to being ignored and could be disregarded further.
And that was exactly what Lilith did, except she tuned Lovey out as well. The more she thought about it, that dread she had felt back in the stairwell was a feeling she knew quite well. It was also one she tried to ignore, but it always got the best of her. After all, if certain events can happen once in her life, they sure as hell could reappear in different manifestations. Hopefully, history wouldn't repeat itself...but hoping wasn't enough for that surge of dread. Oh no, nothing was certain in life.
She shook her head, running her hand through her bangs, to try and shift her train of thought. Lili had barely managed to leave that staircase, no thanks to Cam. If she had tried to respond to him, she might not have had the will to go anywhere. It was true, in her opinion, he was quite remarkable in his own right. However, admitting that in front of him might have just inflated his ego a bit. Speaking of which, for someone who was so sure of himself, Cam had a nasty habit of demeaning himself. Which, in itself, was quite peculiar. Well, Lili'd find a way to break him of that horrid quirk of his, regardless of how things turned out between them.
Also, it was a bit of a refreshing shock to see Cam try and mask his stunned look. Score! He wasn't the only one capable of shocking people with his actions or words. It might have been out of the ordinary comfort zone for Lil, but it was totally worth it. A plus to that impulse of hers, he basically took that as an acceptable answer, and insinuated that she'd get a chance to collect the necessary data 'in due time'. Even though she already knew what her conclusion would be, Lilith was very through in her research, and she wasn't going to skimp on the work.
It was at that moment that she realized something. Cam hadn't caught up with her. He hadn't come bounding around the corner with that gleam in his eye accompanied by that ever present smirk of his with the intent of interacting with her further. Her eyebrow raised at that knowledge. Without hesitation, she turned on her heel and headed back in the direction from whence she came.
She wasn't really worried about the fact that he hadn't caught up to her, for he might have simply decided to go off somewhere else on his own. Not very likely, with his record of following her when he could (although, before the current day, she found it rather annoying due to the fact that that seemed to be his sole purpose, to annoy her). Despite that fact, her pace was a bit faster than it had been. However, as soon as she rounded the corner and spotted a familiar, tall, redheaded figure, beside Cam, she backtracked and placed her back up against the wall, out of sight.
Ryan? What was he doing there? She briefly ran their conversation from earlier through her mind. Ryan had seen her and Cam kiss for the first time, and he had decided to interrogate her afterwards. Like it was any of his business. Sure, she wasn't upset with the god at the time, but now, now was different. She recalled that he had called Cam cute. As if that wasn't enough, she heard Cam's last words, and that kinda set her off, giving her the purpose, the reason to intervene.
She took a deep breath before shoving herself off of the wall and made her way over to the two, a smile on her face. "OH, there you are Cam...Hello, Ryan..." Now, time for something bold. There was no way she could make this next action not be painfully out of place. It couldn't be just casually done, no smooth transitions. However, the fact that it would be so out of place ensured that it could not be ignored. She walked right past Ryan, her eyes set on Cam, and she closed the distance between the two of them with a purpose. The arm that wasn't carrying her school bag was quickly wound around his neck, her hand entering his mop of hair once again, and she used that hand to pull him closer to her, kissing him without shame.
Oh, yes, she did. She could not give a crap that Ryan was right there, or that they were clearly out in the open. As if that wasn't enough, she cast a glance over at Apollo while she was kissing Cam, as if to say, 'Back the ******** off...', and promptly resumed her focus to the Cheshire Cat. He quickly allowed her to slip her tongue into his mouth, it was her turn to be controlling, and he'd just have to deal with it. And that was where her Royal Attitude decided to present itself and take over. After all, 'all the ways about here belong to me', or so her character says.
After a few moments or so, she pulled away with a smirk to rival the usual one that Cam so frequently sported. "Now, if you'll excuse us, Ryan...I need to see Cam...In private...." With that, she wrapped her arm around Cam's waist, sticking her hand in the back pocket furthest from her, and looping her thumb through the nearest belt loop as she directed the both of them back to her room. She refused to say anything on the way, whether or not Cam was trying to get her to talk, she didn't notice, nor would she address him until they were behind her closed door.
As soon as she had shut and locked her bedroom door behind the both of them, she turned and looked at the mess his person had become due to her actions as she leaned against the door. It was ever so hard to be truly mad at him, but he had managed to get her to be a tad bit infuriated. "What the hell?" She stated in a bit of a scary calm voice. " I walk off for, what, two minutes, and you already go off and tell Ryan...Ryan, of all people, that you have options?" Her voice raised slightly with each syllable. Once it reached the just before screaming level, she made sure to stop, no, she wasn't going to yell. "Maybe I made a mistake...I would have thought that you, of all people, due to the fact that you do know more about me than any one else, would remember the whole 'Oh, sorry, I'm dumping you at your very first dance ever, cause, ya know, I've been cheating on you with your best friend' thing..."
She took a deep breath to center herself. Lil really didn't want it to seem like she was overreacting, but that was definitely a possibility. "Sorry...I know we...what we...we haven't really established anything between us...and I shouldn't be acting like a jealous girlfriend...forget it...." With that, she walked away from her spot against the door and went and plopped herself down on her bed, laying on her stomach, head buried in the pillows to hide the red tint that had come to her cheeks. Make you fall like domino Oh baby boy Make you fall like domino You don’t have a choice From LA to New York I don’t want a trail of hearts Play you like a game tonight Watch you fall down, down, down just like… Dominos

'You like it?' The question made Ryan blush and he frantically tried to remember how to talk. His mouth wouldn't work. He seemed to be stuck. All that came out was a very very quiet and nervous uhhh. The handsome young man laughed at him which caused Ryan to turn practically permanently pink. He felt his cheeks burning up with embarrassment. Cam surprised him though saying that he just took what he could get. So they were not a thing?
That was GREAT! well, not really great, but for him it was a little bit of a relief. Not that Cam being sad because he was single made him feel better, but because he wasn't claimed the god still had that sliver of a chance of maybe someday dating him if he ever felt up to it. The cat looked him over and chewed his soft perfect bottom lip with his straight beautiful teeth. He had options? What dd that mean? OH... Ryan was going to die of embarrassment. It was a fact of his life right then. Had it not been for the lack of breeze in the hallways he would have fallen over and died.
"Oh.. T-That good to hear.-I mean, not thatyouand... I just."
Ryan was entirely surprised to hear Lill's voice as she quickly approached them from the end of the hall. Ryan gave her a small smile and was about to ask her about her day when she just put her arm around Cam's neck and kissed him on the lips... Just like that! Like it was nothing. Like she was the owner of them and could kiss them when ever and how ever she wanted. The boy didn't even have enough time to turn away... He was stunned. Standing there eyes glued unable to move he made no sound.. Lill made eye contact with the redhead and in response to her look of anger... anger directed at him. It was like she was telling him to leave... But he couldn't look away.
The girl broke off the kiss first, leaving Cam's lips shinny and pink... Ryan found himself staring then forced himself to look down. He mumbled an apology then the girl took Cam by the a** and led him away... Ryan watched them go. Not an idem? He didn't think so. ******** Cam for leading him on! Ryan wanted to think that but in reality he thought that the cat was probably as bewildered by the scene as he was.
Ryan moved to lean against the wall and put his fingers in his own hair, pulling on it a little. He wanted to scream, make the sound that he was feeling inside right then, confusion and anxiety. But screaming was for the mental... and he wasn't mental. He was just to smart for his own good. Cam deserved better then Lilith. Not that he though of himself as better then Lilith. No he wasn't... but at least he cared enough about Cam as a person to be descent to him all the time and not just in love with him sometimes and pissed at him the rest.
"Shut up... "
She muttered to himself under his breath, trying to make himself stop thinking. Trying to make his heart slow down. Trying to make himself just stop. It was impossible. His own life had been like this... He thought to much and was mean in his head. And he knew it. The young man finished walking to his next class. And put his bag down before excusing himself to go to the bathroom. The boy's restrooms in this part of the building were not ideal for crying in. There were two stalls and a handful of urinals all in one badly lit tiled room. But there was also a janitor's closet that known only to very few had a step ladder in it and a trap door on the ceiling that led to above the ceiling. From there you could go pretty much anywhere in the building you wanted. But Ryan always crawled up a slight incline and into the ceiling above an almost never used room on this side of the school. It was there that he curled up into a ball, hugging his legs to his chest and trying to think slower. He wouldn't cry... This wasn't worth it. He would just try and figure out how he could get cam to break up with the girl... It would be hard but he could figure something out.
After a few minutes of running over hundreds of possibilities in his head he decided on one. He would befriend the boy, and they would become close, Cam would start to trust him an when Lil eventually did break up with him and hurt him he would be there for the cat. He would be the one that Cam could talk to and who would listen and be helpful. It was the perfect plan.

⊰ Scarlet Ann Charleston ❤; Alice. Scarlet hummed to herself absentmindedly as she made her way back to her room in a subconscious effort to distract herself from the ominous rumbling in the distance, pushing any fleeting thoughts in regards to sensitive matters such as the power going out and plunging the building into darkness to the furthest reaches of her mind, as it wasn't a particularly enticing subject matter to think about, and would surely put a damper on her mood if she were to dwell upon it too long.
Her concentration on returning to her room was soon predictably compromised in favor of turning her attention to a more interesting display, which happened to be a rather rueful looking young man making his entrance as she passed the entryway. Upon further inspection, she was able to identify him as none other than the Devil himself, Marcel Cassilen. She'd never really had a chance to speak with him, and admittedly she only managed to pick up on his name from whenever it slipped from their art teacher's lips as she called roll, but she was at least ninety nine percent positive that he'd be great company despite his typically stoic exterior.
It really was no wonder why he appeared to be so dreadfully uncomfortable, though. He was thoroughly drenched from what must have been thrilling and entirely reasonable escapades in the pouring rain, albeit the fact that it seemed he regretted braving the weather now that he was faced with the consequences. She wasn't so sure she would want to attempt an adventure under such gloomy circumstances, much less if it would only amount in her being soaked from head to toe, looking vaguely reminiscent of an ornery kitty that had been forced to take a bath – much like Marcel did at the given moment.
Trying her hardest to stifle the giggle from the mental image that particular analogy had brought to mind, she cracked a smile and opened her mouth to offer to bring him a towel to help him dry off - and then promptly shut it, worrying her bottom lip as that one percent of uncertainty came back to bite her in a none too favorable part of her anatomy. Her parting encounter with Cameron and Lilith had dealt a rather devastating blow to her confidence, and she was beginning to second guess herself on how well her will to assist would be received. Despite her best intentions, she'd been able to manage to upset someone somehow more times than she could count on her fingers and toes combined, and the probability that this time would be no different did not look as good as she would have hoped.
What if he didn't want her help? What if even daring to ask offended his competence? She was aware that he was more than capable of helping himself, but she just thought it would be a nice gesture and oh dear she was making it worse standing here staring at him like an indecisive moron wasn't she.
Stuttering an apology for being in his presence, as she was sure he was a very busy man and had important matters to attend to instead of strange girls who suddenly decided at this point in time to over think their actions, she took off down the hall with a renewed purpose, her shame manifesting in the form of a flush spreading across her cheeks. Well done Charleston, you have successfully established yourself as possibly the flightiest broad in all of Ever After Academy. Your parents must be overwhelmed with pride.
Reaching for the doorknob tentatively, she heaved a sigh in an attempt to gather her frazzled nerves into something a bit more composed, creaking the door open before reaching into the room to flip the light switch. She swung the door open and allowed herself inside, shutting it behind her as she slumped against it, mulling over the the idea of whether or not to bang her forehead against it repeatedly to discipline herself for her idiocy. Deciding against it, she instead launched herself at her unsuspecting mattress, tackling her pillow in a bear hug.
It never saw her coming. Had it been given the chance, perhaps it may have shrieked at the top of its feathery lungs, for self-pitying cuddle jams were probably the most terrifying thing one's bedding could possibly experience.
She rolled onto her back, the pillow still encased within her embrace as she took to staring at the cheery morning sky painted across the ceiling, counting out the white splotches that were supposed to portray clouds. She was on cloud thirty four before suddenly recalling what exactly her purpose for coming here in the first place was, her trivial woes of her failed social endeavors immediately forgotten as she sat up, grinning to herself. She reached over to her nightstand, knocking over her precious alarm clock in her eagerness to retrieve her sketchbook, accompanied by her favorite pencil, the one that had a smiley face eraser that never failed to make her smile back.
In retrospect, she supposed she must look rather silly when doodling, a huge grin on her face as though the paper had told her the funniest joke that had ever graced her ears. She also supposed she must look rather silly all the time.
She set the sketchpad and pencil in her lap, leaning over to pick up the device that had utterly failed her not even a few hours ago, cooing sympathetically to it in a hushed tone as she replaced it to it's rightful place ruling her bedside table, patting the top of it before dropping her gaze to the blank parchment staring back at her, making messy, hurried lead strokes to capture a rough resemblance of the image in her head before she had the chance to forget it – not to mention that she had a rather limited time to do so, taking account of the distractions she'd come across during the break which had now probably dwindled down to the ten minute mark.
She put the pencil down after a few more minutes of getting down the general shape of it, breaking into another goofy smile because she just couldn't help herself before gingerly placing the book and pencil back beside her alarm clock on the nightstand, hopping off of her bed and made her way back to the main building. Upon arrival, she spotted yet another familiar - although somber – face. However, she was well acquainted with this face as opposed to the previous one she'd encountered, and the melancholy upon her pretty features didn't sit very well with Scarlet.
Her earlier feelings of hesitation were shoved aside to make room for her sympathy as she approached the girl she'd likened to an older sister, falling into step with her before trying to catch her attention by leaning forward a bit to look up at her, hands clasped behind her back.
“Morning, Bianca,” she said as cheerfully as she deemed appropriate, offering her a warm smile although the way her eyebrows drew together betrayed the expression. “What's the matter?”

You say that I'm messing with your head Boy, I like messing in your bed Yeah, I am messing with your head When I'm messing with you in bed All my life I've been good, but now I, I, I, am thinking what the hell All I want is to mess around
❅Bianca❅Aneira❅VonStumph❅ Snow White Bianca had just decided not to really go anywhere in particular during their break. Not like she really wanted to get back to her room at the current moment, but she also really just wanted to have time to herself while not being all that alone. So, she ended up walking a random route through the halls, responding to any hello that was directed at her with a smile and/or a nod of her head. She hadn't really noticed the features her face had decided to take on, but it was particularly slack, the smile that was usually etched on her persona had vanished. It really did take more muscles to frown than to smile, and Snow White sure was feeling it.
As she made a pass by the cafeteria, she stopped in and grabbed herself a bottle of apple juice. She would have snatched up some apple cider, but, since she was allergic to raw apples, she'd rather not take the chance. Whether or not it'd give her an allergic reaction, she didn't care, the foggy lack of clarity of the liquid just screamed of apple guts, and she didn't feel like being rushed to the nurse before anything could happen. So, she chose the 'from concentrate' alternative and headed back out on her strange little route.
She sipped from the bottle every now and then, enjoying the taste. As she continued on her way, her thoughts began getting more and more positive, but only minimally. Therefore, it was no surprise that when one of her friends, Scarlet, came up and greeted her, then questioned as to what was wrong, she had no problem giving the girl a soft smile. She had taken a shining to Alice once she realized that the curious being reminded her a lot of her little sister. And, after all, she did miss her family dearly. It had been a way to cope without her admitting that it was a way to cope.Regardless, she reached a free arm out and wrapped it around Scarlet's waist and led her along since she really didn't want to stop her mindless walking.
"A lot, I've been doing some thinking...And I've come to the conclusion that everything is going to be okay, even if it takes forever to get that way..." She trailed off, looking off into the distance before hearing a sharp roll of thunder. Oh, that's right. Scarlet didn't like storms. Like, not at all. Bianca wouldn't be surprised if she were to spot a worried look on the girls face if she looked at it in that split second after the thunder first resounded throughout the building.
"Hey, I have a brilliant idea. How about we have a sleepover in your room tonight? How does that sound? Quite frankly, I'm not up to staying in my room for any length of time right now, and I hear the storm is going to last all night. It would be better to have company through the whole thing, don't you think?" She asked, dearly hoping Scarlet would agree. First of all, it was fun, the girl loved fun. Plus, it meant she didn't have to be all alone during the storm, and that Bianca didn't have to spend the night in her own room and clean it up. It was a win-win, right?
And I, I, I don't really care about If you love me If you hate me You can't save me Baby, baby All my life I've been good, but now Whoooooooa what the hell!

⊰ Scarlet Ann Charleston ❤; Alice. Scarlet easily fell into step with Bianca after she slid an arm around her waist, to which Scarlet responded by resting her head atop Bianca's shoulder in a gesture of adoration. Snow White had always been one of Scarlet's favorite princesses, and she was glad that a pleasant girl like Bianca was able to play the part of her. She thought Bianca did the role an abundance of justice, and anyone who thought otherwise was a very, very confused individual.
Scarlet looked up at Bianca from the corners of her eyes, a concerned expression flitting across her features when the older girl confessed that a lot was the matter. Well, that certainly wouldn't do. Scarlet didn't know what all had happened within the time span from which she had last spoken with Bianca up until now, but she at least wanted to try and get Bianca to cheer up, even if it was just an itsy bitsy bit.
She was just about to say as much when Bianca continued to say that she believed everything would be okay. Eventually. That put Scarlet at a significantly less unease about whatever Bianca's situation may be, figuring she would oh my god that was possibly the loudest roar of thunder Scarlet had ever heard in her life and with really loud thunder came really bright lightning, and with really bright lightning came really, really, terribly, awfully, very not good-ly dark buildings oh my god what was she going to do if the power shut off -
Scarlet's momentary panic passed as quickly as the thunder that triggered it had. Before she had been so rudely interrupted by such distressing thoughts, she had been thinking that Bianca was liable to telling Scarlet all about it later, which, surprisingly enough, was what Bianca was inviting her to do at this very moment.
Scarlet grinned in delight at her proposal of having a sleep over. Sleep overs were her most favoritest things in the whole world - in fact, it was number twenty three on her extremely exclusive Favoritest Things In The Whole World list (of course, by exclusive, she meant extensive). The comment Bianca made about not wanting to be in her room completely flew over Scarlet's head in her excitement.
"That sounds really great! We can stay up all night, or at least until we fall asleep, and watch Disney movies and paint our nails and play dress up and pretend we're an endangered species of alien, or better yet MAMMOTH aliens!" she spread her arms as far as they would go to emphasize her point, "And then we can tell really scary ghost stories! But not too scary because I don't actually want to get scared. Maybe we can tell funny stories instead. And we can put on a sock puppet show for my stuffed animals - they make a very good audience you know - and then...and then..."
Scarlet tapped her chin in deliberation as to what else they could do, her eyes shining a moment afterward. She looked up to Bianca with a wide smile. "And then you can tell me what all is bothering you and maybe you could use my shoulder to cry on, because you look like you could use a good cry and my shoulder has been waiting in anticipation for someone to douse it with tears."

ooooooooooooo S i e r r a oooooooooooooooooooooooooo V a n T a s s e l l The girl closed the letter before looking at Orin with a raised eyebrow. Truth be told, she was surprised he'd asked her of all people, but she supposed it was a last resort. Instead of avoiding his question or distracting him with something else, Sierra decided to answer him. Orin had never been cruel to her, and someone needed to look after Marty. She certainly couldn't do it all the time.
"He's injured, but fine." When it didn't seem like Orin understood how Martin had been injured, she decided to do her nice deed of the year and continue talking. "Martin was caught in a fight with Polly. She managed to nick his eye with a knife, but he still has it. If you should see him with a bandage, that would be why."
Sierra frowned as she thought of Martin's injuries. Pan was a problem that she wasn't sure she could fix on her own. "You should probably keep him away from Pan. He was quite angry about the fight," she absentmindedly said. At the very least, she could try round up more people to keep Martin from retaliating (although Andee was doing a good job of that) and prevent any other outbursts from Pan and the Beast. Sierra washed her hands of Pan's business unless it was interfering with her goals. Martin still had potential to help her plans, and if he was gone, she wasn't sure she would find another with his strength. At least, this was what she told herself.
