Welcome both of you!

To Jewish Girl: Drawing is awesome, and Shakespeare can be pretty good, but I personally like "Much Ado About Nothing." Enormously funny play; Romeo and Juliet was just a bit to sudden for me in their love. blaugh

To Ivy: I like listening to music, but unfortunately have no talent in it myself. xp Any particular style you like best?
you mean genere like. I reallyy like bach as far as composers and I love classical music and showtunes.

Shalom!

Well, my name is Sherry, and I'm 22 years old. I live in Rancho Cucamonga, CA.

I usually just come on Gaia to check up on what's happening in all the guilds I've joined, and maybe search around the chatterbox for silly people who flame each other only 'cuz it's entertaining.

I'm a graduate from the University of California - Riverside with a B.A. in Psychology. Since I found out I couldn't do as much as I wanted to with this degree, I've decided to take some more science classes and hopefully I'll be in nursing school.

As you can see in my current sig, my #1 hobby is Maple Story! I haven't been playing as much, now that I have both work and school. Oh yes, and I love learning foreign languages!

I'm a dreamer, and as bad as it is, I love living in a fantasy world. My current fantasy is just going to a nice, old-looking university far away from home. It's all I think about right now. Now if I could just get my applications going...

Okay, I'll admit - I'm not Jewish, but I wanted to join because the place I work at (International Jewelry Center in Los Angeles), has so many Jewish people around. I started reading up on the Jewish beliefs and customs and I just thought how wonderful this religion is! Now that I've joined this guild, I hope to learn more about Judaism or anything else related to it.

Thank you for letting me join!

Hello!

IRL Stuff - My name is Tessa, but my Hebrew name is Chayka

Gaia Info - I've been here for around 3 years now (I think). I'm usually seen in the AT (if at all), but I'm mostly a lurker.

Occupation - Student

Hobbies/Interests - Books, Reading, Shopping for Books, Drinking Tea While Reading Books... are we seeing a pattern?

Favorites - I love Japanese food, actually... just about any food. I think the best part of being Jewish is accidentally running into other Jewish people and then having that "Hey, we're cool, because we're BOTH JEWISH" moment. Authors: H.P. Lovecraft, Tolkien, Wilde, Austen.

Misc. - I speak French vaguely well as well as Sign Language, I'm a member of the Reform movement. I ride horses. Um. That's about it for me.

Nice to meet you all!

Hi! Welcome!! Yay; a fellow book lover- that's awesome!

Do you have a favorite genre of book? I love sci-fi and fantasy, but Austen and Wilde are good as well. Haven't read the first one, though.

Heh; I did Latin instead of French, though the language sounds pretty cool.

@darkphoenix
I'm a HUGE lover of sci-fi and fantasy, Lovecraft is the father of the horror/sci-fi genre. If you've ever heard some obscure reference to something called "Cthulhu" then you've heard of Lovecraft.

Some other authors I like are Susanna Clarke (Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell), Neil Gaiman, and Terry Pratchett

My school only offers French and Spanish, so it wasn't much of a choice, but I like French, so it's all good 3nodding

Hi there. My name is Shahaf {שחף}, which means "seagull" in english (you know, that stupid white bird that shits on your head while you're at the beach?), im 17 years old and im from Jerusalem, Israel.
I usually hang around in the Gaia Forums, mostly Barton Town and sometimnes the Extended Discussion.
Im in high school right now, trying to survive my last 3 and a half months in that cursed place.
I like to photograph, a lot, and I also like to drink with my friends here (a bunch of weird Russians who drinks Vodka all the time. Don't ask).

Is that enough information?
=)

Hi! Welcome to both of you! ^^

(And welcome back, Panda. Sorry about your old account. sweatdrop )

To Chaplo: Cool name; people from Israel seem to have the coolest and most creative ones. blaugh What sorts of ED things do you like talking about? I used to do science and technology, but I stopped a while ago when other's arguments consisted of, "OMg!#@ JesUs SaiD so, so you go 2 Hell$#%1!"

To Silcis: I just read that book by Clarke! Terry Pratchett is funny as well- ever read Monstrous Regiment? Amusing book. 3nodding

Heh; mine offers Spanish (but I can't roll my "r's", French (can't speak with an accent and roll my "r's", German (scary teacher and can't sound that harsh), and Latin! Yay Latin! blaugh

Well, I ws born to some hippie parents.. so I am Shahaf, and my brother is Dror, which means Sparrow (Or Freedom). The funny thing is, that my mother, originally from Soth America, sometimes can't pronounce the R's in Dror, so his name often turns to Dlol.

About the ED- I usually post around the Politics. It pisses me off that there's a thread called "Israel's Existence", and many creeps from around the world talking about "Why israel shouldn't exist".
So I piss them off back telling that "Too bad the IDF didn't conquer Damascus when it had the chance" ^_^

xd Nice.

Personally, I stay out of politics all that I can; most are too corrupt, and I don't even want to get involved with most of the people there. Too frustrating. sweatdrop
