"Thank you." she mewed to Icestorm, though she didn't lick them up just yet.
"Mmm, memories you say?" she mewed with a faraway look in her eyes.
"As for what happened to me, well to put it simply.. The wind stole my heart." she mewed her eyes sparkling with longing for that feeling.
"It calls to me, even now.." she murmured looking intensely at the camp entrance.
(( OMG, it was sad when Moonflower died. T^T
I'm at the part when she's a warrior, she's already heard of her prophecy. ))

Hawkpaw didn't know whether the young she-cat would take the offer as genorous or insulting, so he hung back from her. By the way she spoke, it seemed to him now more that ever that Moonkit was really going to be a medicine cat one day.

IceStorm nodded as she heard Moonkit. She looked up at the skys. "Sometimes it feels as though the wind will blow all your troubles away... and then you jsut forget everything else and be free..." IceStorm said. She closed her eyes and felt a small breeze brush against her fur.

[Moonkit snapped her head towards Hawkpaw.]
"Oh would you?" she said her eyes searching his hungrily.
[Icestorm spoke the thoughts that Moonkit felt exactly.]
"Yes.. The wind.." she murmured.
[Moonkit imagined the wind, playing, tumbling....
It would blow on forever but Moonkit knew it would wait for her.
..But only her.]
Huh? But what about Hawkpaw.. And Icestorm, Thunderpaw and all her other friends? she thought suddenly scared of leaving them behind.
[She opened her eyes, scared that the wind really had stolen her away.
She sighed, relieved when she saw that they were both there, staring curiously at her.]
"H-hey guys? Has the wind ever taken a hold on you? So tight that you forgot about everything else..? Everyone else?" she whispered, scared. ((Ooh, spoil something for me. * U *

"Yes, many times." She said without moving or opening her eyes. "The wind just brushes all your thoughts away. as if you were free. but then..." IceStorm looked at Moonkit. "but then.. the wind also reminds you that while its ok to be selfish but you must not forget the reality." She said.

He shut his mouth now, not wanting to upset her anymore. Then, Moonkit asked the question about the wind, which simply confused Hawkpaw.
“No...I've never even heard of that...”
Yet, upon hearing his mentor's reply, the tom fell into a deep thought.

"I - I don't want to leave the camp anymore." she mewed hastily.
"I'm afraid that the wind will steal me away, and even worse things will happen." she mewed unable to hold Icestorm's gaze any longer. Gray // Yeah, with Leopardfoot. c: Right? @@;;

Somehow, now, he felt distant from the she-kit. He couldn't explain it himself, but it was like today's event had caused a rift in their friendship. With his gaze aimed at the floor, Hawkpaw's tail-tip twitched from time to time in anxiousness and discomfort.

[Moonkit saw how awkward Hawkpaw was acting.
She wanted to yell out with frustration.
She had an urge to confess her feelings to him.
.. But she knew she never could.
She was destined to become a medicine cat, she couldn't have a relationship of any kind.
So she ended up just resting her tail lightly of his spine.
It was gesture of comfort, but she wasn't sure how he'd take it.]
((Ooh, I just love to read ahead.
Thus spoiling the story anyways.
So go on. *sits patiently* Spoil some more. 8D ))

(ok. wait dont you mean SunStar? he is the next leader. i forget his warrior name. anyways. Bluefur's mother died right? ok well SnowFur falls for thistleclaw (the one who is training tigerpaw) and SnowFur dies)
IceStorm nodded and sat down near the treestump, more than a few cattail lengths away. She watched the camp calmly.
