they didn't say he was dead they just showed Bon Clay about to fight magellan, so for all we know its a cliff hanger basicly

On the island before Roger blows it up, we fight the image of ourselves basicly
Luke v.s 'something' with ice logia power
Fayth v.s. 'something' with water logia power
Artex v.s. 'something with stone logia power
Get it?
Now those who doesn't have fruit abilities will fight with there own mirror like Jerome black's fruit ability.

That sounds kind of cool. I don't think Eliza's ever been in battle, but the two of them could be trying to support their own sides as well as cause damage. To bad I didn't get a chance to get Doc his new weapon, 'cause that would have made the battle a lot cooler.
