[Timmy : Hook's Ship]
"HeheHEHEHAHA!!" The boy broke out into a frenzy of crazy laughter before the devilish girl in front of him. His heart racing faster and faster, small drops of sweat racing down the side of his face, and his breath getting shorter and shorter. This sensation running through his body, he thought it to be himself either losing all sanity but it was just fear. "Wallowing in my powerlessness? Definitely." He jumped off the bed and began to pace around, acting in an eccentric manner.
"Why do I fight? Good question... Why do I fight? For what reason do I fight? Why do I fight?" He looked at the girl quite puzzled with his hand over his chin. "I believe if I still had a good guy mentality it would be to protect my friends? But what friends do I have?" he paused. "But if you want my true answer, I guess you would have to rip out my heart and ask for yourself. Not saying that you should because hearts can't talk! If they could that would just be quite silly!" he ended with a chuckle.
He then took a look at Alice and then his legs broke down on him. He then waddled over to Alice, grabbed onto her coat and began to break out crying. "I'm scared Alice! I'm so scared! I-I-I-I just don't know what I'm doing anymore!" He remained kneeled, clinging onto the girl with his head down, crying and saying that he was afraid over and over.

[Alice :: Hook's Ship]
The animator's eyes widened briefly before narrowing in disgust. She was taken aback by Timmy's actions, sure she was the one that goaded him in the beginning but she hardly assumed that he would lose himself like he did. His mental stability was questionable, no doubt but Alice was far more worried as he seemed to cling unto her, an outpour of tears rupturing from his eyes.
So she did what only a respectable being would do, she pushed him aside, forcing his fingers from the fabric of her clothes. "Pathetic," she spat to herself, eying the defender with a mix of disdain and amusement before smiling wryly.
Her facial features seemed to smooth out as she knelt down before Timmy, any traces of previous disgust were wiped clean from her face. "You could always completely give yourself to the darkness," Alice murmured softly, almost sounding motherly were it not for the blatant smile gracing her face. She reached out gently with her bare hand, only barely caressing the surface of Timmy's hand. But the defender would immediately feel a seering pain, despite the lightest touch, as if the skin was being held to a torch.

[Timmy : Hook's Ship]
The boy was pushed away from the girl and all he could do was stare at her. His crying came to a stop as he continued to watch the girl, her motions, the looks in her face, and her lips.
"Pathetic," she had said to him. "You could always completely give yourself to the darkness," she also said to him, but all the words she spoke of were truth to him. He was being a rather pathetic waste of life by crying and whining. He also knew he wasn't giving in to the darkness. He began to feel the pain, but he didn't withdraw his hand. In fact he saw this pain as a wake up call and a punishment for him showing doubt.
"HAHAHAHA!" The boy began to laugh out loudly. "Everything is as you say! I was indeed being pathetic, but not anymore! I've only tasted the tip of the power that darkness gives!" He stood up and continued to laugh up at the ceiling. "The reason why I fight? It's for power and nothing will stop me from obtaining more!" He took a moment to gather himself before talking again.
"It seems I judged you a bit too quickly. I don't know why I didn't see it before! You were never the eyesore... It was always her! Not only her! It was all of them! They were all eyesores to me!" Timmy seemed rather happy with this revelation and continued to laugh with pure delight.

[Nick :: Unknown Plains]
Nick stared at the Heartless with a puzzled grin, almost maniacal in his endeavors to defeat them. He took in a deep breath through his nose, feeling the cool air rush into his lungs before exhaling it towards the Green Requiems. The little Heartless flailed around as the air around them distorted their hovering path. During the distraction, the Lanista moved with quick steps and immediately grabbed the lance heartless from the lance soldier, using it as a weapon as he waved it wildly around.
"Yes, yes! DIE YOU MAGGOTS, YOU BLOODY BEASTS FROM THE NETHER!! I HATE YOU, YOU TOOK MY MOTHER, AND MY SISTER, AND ALL MY FRIENDS!! I HATE YOU MONSTERS!!!" Nick screamed, watching the Heartless disappear into puffs of dark smoke. The rage and loss of his family had caught up to him, and he couldn't help but explode in anger. The two Green Requiems floated on back in an attempt to heal the few wounded Heartless that remained, but got within Chaos' host's reach. As his hands gripped tightly around the two floating Heartless, green energy trailed from them down Nick's arms and towards his torso, where they immediately vanished within his body. The two Heartless flailed, then poofed away after the life was drained completely from them. Finally, the Lanista summoned his blades and slashed at the remaining Lance Soldier.
He turned towards the black cloaked woman, panting heavily. After looking at his body, he noticed that he had be scratched up and bruised by the Heartless. "...Teacher, I need other weapons. I don't want to use my blades when I'm undercover."

[Alice :: Hook's Ship]
The animator genuinely smiled, although the red tone to her eyes only made her look conniving. She was thoroughly amused with Timmy's revelation, the threads of her glove re-wove themselves as she quietly stood, never taking her eyes from the boy. She hardly thought he had it in him, only saying the words he said due to adrenaline. It's better just to go running back to the incompetent mice with your tail between your legs, I'm sure they'll take one look at your sorry face and welcome you with open arms." Alice smiled sardonically but kept silent as the shield wielder continued to laugh joyously.
"And the only way they won't be is if you get rid of them, no?" Alice responded gently, and with her now gloved hand, she leaned and ruffled Timmy's hair while the gears of her mind began to spin. A smile easily slid into place, all the while CĂșchulainn laughed merrily inside her head.

"And the only way they won't be is if you get rid of them, no?" The boy's joyous laughter was brought to a halt with the girl's question. He watched as her hand gently reached up to the boy's head, only to have his hair ruffled, but it gave him some sort of comfort. While she ruffled his hair he payed close attention to the animator's captivating smile and he began to look deeply into her eyes. He almost got lost in her eyes until Timmy shook his head to snap out of his temporary trance and took some thought about what he just felt before opening his mouth to answer.
"Indeed. The only way to get rid of an eyesore is to erase it from my sight." The boy answered with a smile of his own. The fear that he had felt earlier was gone, but a lingering sensation remained burning in the boy's chest.

[Alan :: LoD :: Courtyard]
Alan smiled warmly, and reached into the proffered bag, extracting a sphere. "Thank you," he said, drawing back from Jon a few steps.
As he focused on the sphere, ripples of magical energy seemed to extend outwards, sending butterflies through everyones' stomachs. Then, a circle of fire appeared on the ground beneath Alan's feet, widening until it was a good two meters in diameter. The fire folded in on itself, gaining a third dimensional aspect, and encased Alan. As it did so, it took on the unmistakable appearance of a lotus flower.
Then, after a few drawn out moments, the lotus opened, revealing the one inside it - clean shaven, dressed in multi-layered white and red robes. The outfit was completed by a white cape with red trim that was fastened in place by a reddish silver broach shaped like a great bird taking flight.
Alan inspected himself with an apparent casual air, a smile teasing the corners of his mouth. "A lotus flower?" he said, "This is a pretty poor excuse for a Pure Land."

[Kai:The Flying Dutchmen]
Celia was quite the peice of work, even the ominous artist had to admit it. Not unlike the things she dreamed of fashoning herself one fo these days, but this one was obviously incomplete, what other plans Ajora had for her would yet to be seen.
As she watched them leave, Kai's eyes flickered down to re-check the detailing log of their appearance in her notes. Their images were etched perminantly in her book with their own embossed names. There was a cold finality to that fact, like having your name in the book of the dead somewhere. Most definitally, having your visage in Kai's sketchbook would prove to never be a good thing.
When Ajora possed the question Kai made a distastful snort, " If you need to relieve your loins be my guest, I'm more interested in etching a new reason for people to fear darkness... but tell me, are so sure you wont be bored even then?"
[Kyla: LoD:: Courtyard]
The light tapping of her sandaled feet grew ever louder and faster as she scampered down the long stretch of steps to the courtyard below. As she neared the last one she could see Kichi waving to her and Kyla's face brightened. She waved back to him, " Sorry I kept you waiting." she called and finally reached the bottom.
Turning to look up where she had just come from, the pictomancer blew a whistle and sighed," They need to make that some kind of stair-master challenge."
It was then she watched Kichi hand Alan his own dressphere, and describ it's attributes to him. Juding by his torn up attire, she didn't blame him for insisting. " Yes they're quite handy, even if they don't transform completly from place to place, they do adjust to your physical needs in reaction to climate change, and still look exactly the same sometimes."
As she watched the dressphere envelope Alan in what appeared to be flames, and then open in the very familair shape, she had to crack a small grin at his comment.
"Hey- Lotus flowers are not uncommon you'll find here. Perhaps they have some kind of poetic representation to the unfolding of the heart... at least- thats what it feels like to me." she fingered her book tenderly, regarding the images inside.
"They seem to come naturally in my designs too. I didn't even think about it at first you know. Perhaps it's got more to do with you, Alan, then the land you're on. Remember the lotus flower has it's respect due to the fact it blooms purely and beautifully amoungst the dark, dank and obscure swamps."

[Alan :: LoD :: Courtyard]
Alan nodded pensively. "Lotus flowers are common? That's actually incredibly interesting. Maybe 'Pure Land Paradise' isn't so far from the truth after all. Or maybe we should avoid putting too much trust in iconography. Still, you're probably right when you say it's about the unfolding of the heart."
Alan glanced around the group. Were they going to head back to the much spoken of transport? Either way, it was probably now or never, so Alan decided to speak up. "Um, anyway," he said, addressing everyone, "are you in a major hurry, or do we have time to stop off at a teahouse or something? I have a lot of questions that could just as easily be answered there as in your transport, and, well, It'd be nice to at least get a cup of good tea before we leave China."

[Kyla: LoD: Courtyard]
" Perhaps, but my skills rely on such representations, a defined symbolic image is more accurate and easier to control. It all depends on what it means to the person beholding it I suppose." Kyla mused, her brows creasing.. things were not always what they appeared on the surface. But it that were true, then this whole mess could be deeper and far more complex then any of them were ready for! But that's why she came on this mission in the first place wasn't it?
...then someone said the magic word...
" Tea?! -erm- umm.." Kyla caught the near outburst and quickly regained her composure. "...well, some of us do need ot rest, the Red Rose is a longer way... I guess it depends if the Emperor meant us to leave, as in LEAVE his whole country. What do you think?"
Personally she did feel let down their visit to China was so brief and it flew by in a whirl of battle and sore feelings. To at leats say she had a cup of tea in china..well, scratch one item on her lift of life long dreams off.

Alan tilted his head to the side, regarding Kyla with a smile. "I assumed he just meant get out of his Palace. Is there any reason he'd want us out of China?" Kyla was making a very good first impression on the budding Black Mage newly reborn from a lotus blossom. Alan could easily see the two of them being good friends.

[Joseph: HT: Forest] The male smirked at the creatures, violence seeming to radiate off of him for a split second before urging Izza to charge forward. "Party? Time to create a beat, then!" [Cue music: Speed Battle!] "Get somewhere safe, Izza. Don't let yourself get hurt." And with that, Joe focused on one of the jumping Wight Knights, before drawing up his legs and placing his feet against his chocobo's back. He wanted to try something, and it was going to be fun~ As soon as his feet left the bird's back in a jump, Izza darted left and Joseph's feet kicked up and out, a sort of back flip with his legs remaining out. Of course, he focused on his magic, using his feet as a focal point, and shot out that concentration of wind in an arc. Of course, he couldn't see it, but it was his magic. He could feel it. Sora probably could've, too. The heartless, though, kept up with it's jump and was suddenly knocked back, a large gash appearing vertically in the middle of it. Joe smirked as his feet seemed to land on air. Oh, this would definitely help him vent. Pushing off the air platform, bo in hand, the fighter seemed to blur forward, before being right in front of the creature. Grabbing around it's thin neck with his legs, he flipped back again and shot the creature at the ground, and it landed with a loud thud before the bo was sent flying after it like a javelin, and it pierced the creature before being summoned back to his hand, the Wight Knight fading into darkness and nothingness. "Bring it!" he shouted, beckoning then next heartless to come at him, his jaw seemingly stiff and locked into place, shoulders up and squared, no trace of emotion other than readyness for the enevitable. [Joseph learned a new ability! Joseph learned Cordonazo!]

[ ??? : Unknown Plains -> Castle Armory ]
The cloaked woman watched with a somber air as Nich at first struggle with the Heartless before unleashing his pent up fury. It was likely that the rush into Darkness was affecting his emotions, fueling them so that they, in turn, could fuel it. That was how the Darkness worked in those who were not careful enough; it wasn't even the child's fault...
"A wise choice; your ally made the same decision," she said solemnly with a nod. "However, you must never release such an outburst as that; it would lead some to question your allegiance to the Light, and would only hinder your attempts at gaining their trust."
A portal of darkness opening between the two, and the teacher made to cross into it, leaving it open for him to follow. The corridor lead them into the armory once owned by the White Witch herself, along with some Spiran additions. The cloaked woman's sudden appearance startled a group of nearby servants who was seemed to be picking weapons.
"M'lady, welcome back," one of them greeted, both bowing before her. "Tromell was searching for you. A young man has made his way to the castle and attempts to enter it; however, he has just fallen unconscious within the Courtyard. We were going to check on him-"
"Bring him inside and treat him with all the hospitality that Maester Seymour would ask of you," she spoke calmly, though there was a slight hesitation in her tone. "However, remember well your orders-"
"Right, m'lady, right away," he said, bowing once again before the two took their chosen weapons and left the armory; the weapons were likely to be used as self-defense measures if Heartless appeared. The Guado were quite used to the raids by now, as they seemed 'strangely' attracted to this place.
After Nicholas would have made his way through the Corridor, the woman would step aside, revealing the armory. "Take what you believe you will need. And while you ponder that, I suggest you develop a story for your 'history' when you do go incognito."

[Nick :: Unknown Plains -> Castle Armory]
Nick solemnly followed his teacher into the dark portal, arriving in a large armory filled with all sorts of odd weapons. He watched the woman order some more of the Guado servants around, talking about someone arriving on the castle grounds and falling unconscious, but he ignored it and continued staring at the weapons curiously. Each one he passed, the glint of steel sparkled against his eyes and he bit his lip almost as if waiting for one to call out to him.
He finally pressed his hand against a rifle, pulling it from the rack and hoisting it against his shoulder. "I'll take a rifle, teacher, so I can do damage from long range. But I need something for closer attacks..." He grumbled to himself, as if he was at a store shopping for a pair of sneakers. His gaze shifted towards the far wall, where a long twin bladed halbard stared back at him, the black gleam of the pole darker than the night itself. "And that halbard, Teacher. That will do nicely, I believe." The blonde sneered, walking towards it quickly and holding it tightly in his other hand.

"If you feel comfortable with the weapons, then they are the weapons to be used," she responded cryptically before opening another Corridor of Darkness behind her. "Now, if you'll come with me... you will finally meet the Maester."
The cloaked woman slowly slipped into the Corridor, blending in almost perfectly as it was; it would remain open until Nicholas entered, closing and vanishing once he was within the Dark embrace.
