Instinctively Scribbler cast an invisible bubble of ink to surround the party, senses already reaching out to see what was beyond the wall.

A smaller version of the golem lumbered forward it was the size of a normal person, but it still radiated power.

((Actually...what I had in mind won't work at all with a non-living creature, so I'll just wait until something living attacks.))
The broadsword made a reappearance, its hilt caught in midair with the hands of a swordsman.

Scribbler leapt back as the golem came forward, detaching a portion of the shield from the main conjuration.
The golem screeched just as the other had...and the shield fell away into dust, despite the inkmancer's efforts to hold it together.
The sheer intensity of the scream and the strain snapped something in Scribbler's brain and she fell forward in a flash of blinding light.
[...agreed. The dice like to play with Bob too much. :'3
I still think there should be a way to heal if one rolls higher than the roll that caused the damage or something. Otherwise what's Vigoratus good for except comfort? :P]

((Editing....-sigh- as much as I love the dice sometimes, there are times when they really don't make sense with the plot and characters...-beats self over the head until unconscious-))
The blade struck the golem to no affect.
You're a damn fool, Bainbridge. he hissed mentally as the construct swept the sorcerer aside. He bore the blow as best he could, conserving his magic for when it would become vital.

Farskon turned to Scribbler, and shifted his hands towards the Paene's direction. He shouted."Vigoratus" A glow erupted, and merged from her healing her.

The golem dodged a Bow Rifle shot from a startled guard, and it knocked the bowman aside. The golem turned to Farskon, and attempted to punch the diminutive paladin.

The broadsword struck again, this time imbued with sorcerous fire. While no flames danced around the blade, there was a strange glimmer to the steel as it sliced through the golem's arm like a hot wire through butter.

"Thanks," the paene pants breathlessly to Farskon.
The ink that had been lying in innocuous puddles around the golem reared up, spiking suddenly into the air and piercing the golem's feet, holding it still.
Several other spikes raced to bury themselves in the golem's chest, obliterating whatever runes they touched.

[Farskon's roll]
The golem shed it's runed skin, and revealed it's second layer which was even more humanoid. It still had one arm, but was free from the ink.
The runs Nazynri broke seemed to have activated something sealed.
A whispering filled the air, and it got stronger and louder almost overwhelming!
"Ah shut it up!" Farskon yelled, and threw a vial of holy water at the new silver layer.
It singed a bit of it slightly, but the golem slammed Farskon into a wall and damaged him quite a bit.

The golem hummed louder, and so did the whispering.
It did an acrobatic jump up a tall building startling people, and caused more guards to appear.
They all bolted, as the golem attempted to slam it's weight on the group.
[Emma did: 31 dmg!]
[Nazynri did: 14 dmg!]
