Godric lifted Phantom into his arms effortlessly, carrying her into a nearby and thankfully vacant room. "It is not too sweet, is it?" He kissed her forehead and her cheek. "I love you, Phantom."

A few hours later, Phantom woke up with Godric beside her and her body sore. She smiled and moved closer to him, kissing his chest, shoulder and neck.

"I could watch you sleep for hours," he cooed, kissing her forehead. "Did you sleep well, my love?" Propping himself up on his elbows, Godric traced her tattoos absentmindedly.

She smiled and closed her eyes again. "I sleep better with you right next to me." She kissed him softly and ran her fingers over his cheek gently.

Kirai walked into the Outerlands RCS building, which seemed very strange to her... The last time she was here was so, so long ago, back when she was still a sworn enemy of the organization... But little did that matter. Edward! She called out. Stepping into the room where he was sleeping, she walked over to the chair he was in and placed her hands on his shoulders. Kirai's long cape dragged across the floor, and she pulled the hood down so her face could be seen. "Edward, I need to ask you something."

Edward looked up at Kirai, from waking up. "What is it?" He asked sleeply. "What are you doing here? Is something wrong?" He asked concerned.

Kirai shook her head. The only thing different about her was that in her eyes now, there was a bit more life than the last time she had seen Edward, more emotion. "No, nothing is the matter... Several things have occurred, but nothing of importance. You see..." She moved her hand up to his cheek reassuringly, and spoke in a calm, soothing voice. "I need to ask you about a name I came across, one sharing the name of your clan. If it's not what I'm looking for, I might need to ask for some more assistance."

Edward typed the name into his computer, pulling up the family tree. "That name does seem familiar to me, but let me cross reference it against the family tree...." The screen flashed and started scrolling down the list, until it stopped on the name. "From what I can tell, that name would be my mothers sisters, daughters daughter. Or my cousin twice removed." (Second cousin)

"What else is in the system?" Kirai asked, her head down, and starting to pace a bit back and forth slowly. The expression on her face was unreadable.

Edward read the paragraph on his second cousin. "Well, from the RCS database, there isn't much information. Mostly that she was born around three to four hundered years ago, and not too very long after that, was presumed dead, when she went missing." Edward looked up at Kirai, "Tell me what you are thinking, and why you are asking about this woman. Is another Grey alive?"

Kirai stopped dead in her tracks. ".....damn it." The first time Kirai had cursed in her entire life. Moving one hand through her hair and hiding her face, she let out a deep and shaky sigh, shaking slightly. Closing her eyes, she suddenly recalled something. "If I recall... wasn't the house burned down, the mother executed, and all inside meeting a similar fate? You already said missing, so the body must of never been found."
