Stephanie was lucky she hadn't fallen on her a**, that was for sure. She straightened herself and smiled. "I had to look absolutely stunning. Beauty takes time and effort my dear." She pecked him on the cheek before continuing to walk, allowing the door to slam behind them.
But they were stopped by that one guy... Andrew, who was dressed up quite nicely as well. She smiled, but only a bit as he led them to a ballroom of sorts.
Hm. Not too shabby.
Landon pulled out her seat, which she absolutely loved. James never did that for her..
She sat down and opened the menu. "It all sounds pricey. Can we order everything?" Steph laughed lightly.
No alcohol of any sort though, not even a little bit. Not this time.

"James Riley Parker. I would scold you for watching me, but you did get ready first. So I can't complain." Kaitlyn grinned, he looked happy. And actually meant what he said about her being beautiful. It was hard to be feel beautiful with that hunk of a cast on her arm.
She had to lean back to get good look at him, he looked nice. "I kinda feel like we are going to prom or something. Getting all dressed up like this." He pulled it off good, he should dress that way more often, it's so fancy..
((Sorry it's short. Fighting with my roommates and making dinner at the same time))

Move along, move along like I know you do.. James just laughed. At least Kaitlyn was in a better mood right!? And looking amazing. That was always a plus. Especially on her, since she always did look great to start. He hardly even noticed the cast.

"I was saying we order all the pricey stuff to make them have to pay for it all." Stephanie grinned.
"They put us through hell... we send them into debt due to our pricey foods!" Of course, that probably wasn't possible. But it was a nice thought, yes?
Stephanie continued to flip through and look at all of the food. "I'll order for you and you order for me?" She looked at him over the top of the menu. That would kinda prove how well they both still knew each other, at least stomach wise.
And it'd be fun in general, since neither of them could really make a decision.
Not to mention the fact that Stephanie was indecisive.

Allowing himself to enter the secluded bungalow he noticed how James and Kaitlyn were already dressed. "I came here to tell you that getting ready now might be in your best interest, seeing you are already ready, I will excuse myself to go see if all the preperations are in order." He bowed gracefully before eying both of them over, even more so Kaitlyn. Amazing even with a cast she was able to do that. Closing the door behind him he headed back to the ballroom, and walked towards the table of two.
"Have you decided on what you wanted to eat? Forgive me for not mentioning it sooner, but this is all free. The menu's due have pricing on them, but that only applies to other guest that arrive here." He smiled shyly at his own forgetfulness as music continued to flow throughout the room. Andrew took out a pad of paper ready to take it to the chefs.

"Oh!" Landon laughed. Ha, he didn't get what she meant the firs time. But he was pretty sure it wouldn't work, even if they let them.
"If only that would work." he said, smiling as he shook his head.
Then Stephanie had an interesting suggestion. Alright.
"K, you gotta deal then babycakes."
And with that, he continued through the menu with a different perspective. They did like plenty of the same things, but Landon also remembered some specific differences.
That one dude came back and told them about it being free blah blah blah, and was ready to take their orders.
"Ok. She would like this revolting dish" he said, completely straight faced, as he pointed at a picture. It was something he knew she loved, but that he didn't in the least. Every time she'd gotten something of the sort in the past, he'd always made fun of her and pretended to complain. So now for amusements sake, he had decided to order it, as if to say YEAH, I remember.
But, he also was covering it slightly so that she wouldn't see what he was pointing at, while Andrew could.****************************************    As soon as forever is through

Kaitlyn smiled at his suggestion, music in her head happened all the time. Who didn't have a tune that they were singing or humming along to it. She was seriously about to kiss back when the door opened, her head spun around instantly. Out of shyness she instantly backed away from James. Although that was a stupid reaction, her eyes went back to James right away. She didn't even noticed when Andrew left.
"Did we really get ready too early?" Kaitlyn was unsure how her reaction to when Andrew came through the door effected James, she kept her distance. That could have hurt her if she kissed someone only to have them back off. And it's not like it was the worst he has come in on, but still. It still was awkward for her in a sense.

She rolled her eyes at him. "If it truly is revolting, you'll have it running down that sexy shirt you're wearing." She clicked her tongue.
"He'll have this, number six on the right side." Andrew looked at her, confused. "This." She pointed.
One of the things she hated most but he loved.

"Mhmm, good luck cheating nooooow." She giggled mischeviously.
Steph wiggled her butt in her chair, too. Then she leaned over the table a bit, obviously showing off her clevage a bit. Or maybe a bit more than a bit. But whatever.
Music started playing lightly around the room. Or maybe she just hadn't noticed it before. "They could at least play something good.." She whispered, but her louder laugh would have given away any secret she may have been telling.

James was used to being ready early actually. He may be a lot of things, but a procrastinator wasn't one of them.
Nope. He was always the one rushing someone else out the door, and not just in the normal guy vs girl sense.
James tried to let the awkwardness that Andrew's untimely entry had caused just run right off of him.
Instead of showing it, he took a step closer to Kaitlyn to make up the slight distance she had caused and put an arm around her.
