'cat-girl i think its just about time you sat down again. you might still have a concussion and you have lost quite a bit of blood. you need food and probably a good deal of water.' kiana put down her knives and dug in kai's large pack for food and a water bottle and handed them to katie

Kai nodded as he knelt where Katie pounced on him, "Yes, off to bed with you...." he said as he scooped Katie into his arms when he got up, setting her back on that couch Falcon placed her on when they got there.

Katie mewed a little, and didn't put up any fight to being set down back on the couch, though she had grabbed onto Kai's pant leg and held on..

Kit's ears drooped at what Miss told her but when Katie became boisterous, she decided that it could have been much worse. Her ears perked again.
"Yes! Rest will make you better.
She picked up the pad and pencil and wrote her name on it for Katie to see in case she hadn't caught it. She then handed it to her to read, replacing Kai's pant leg with it. She turned to the other two.
"I wanna help her get better too!"
she said excitedly.

Katie took the paper, but used her other hand to grab onto Kai before he could get away.. To her, he and Emily were the most familiar things and with the way she felt, familiarity helped her relax.. She then closed her eyes--not daring to let go of Kai's pant leg..

Kai raised a brow and sighed lightly, "..oh, well...we do want her to get some rest though.." he said as he managed to find a way to sit down without bothering Katie.

Kit had to smile at the sight.
I guess as long as she's good there.
She commented and then sat down on the floor. She felt tired all of a sudden.

Katie pulled herself partially into Kai's lap, snuggling a bit closer.

After all the excitement had settled down, Emily sat on the other side of the room, her eyes watching Kai's every move. She never really trusted him in the first place and now he lost even more trust.

Kit watched as Miss sat down and seemed to glare at Kai. Leaping over to her side, she crouched beside her and looked at her curiously.
"Are you ok? Did Kai make you angry? I hate being angry at people though at the time when I am I usually just end up yelling at the person. I always feel bad later but of course I'm far too stubborn to apologize but in the end it usually works out and me and the person I was fighting with work it out. Do you think you'll work it out with Kai? I really hope so because I'd hate to have a rift between this odd little group that we formed.
Kit continued rambling on and sat beside Miss with a smile and was just being friendly. Maybe the girl didn't want want to be friends, but it was just in Kit's nature to act as she was.

Kai shifted slightly, because of Katie pulling herself onto his lap and Emily's constant gaze on him.. he sighed lightly and got the notepad from Katie's hand and started writing. After a moment he quietly tore the paper off and folded it into an airplane, sending it over to Emily.
'I only know what was said to me, that they call you a 'mass murderer'...but I also know that there are two sides to every tale and even if you killed there was likely a reason for it. My choice remains the same, to aid you all till things are settled.'

Emily turned her head and looked at Kit. "Yeah, we're odd bunch aren't we?.......We'll see if everything works out". Out of the corner of here eye she saw a paper ariplane flying towards her. She caught it and saw Kai staring at her. She unfolded it and read its contents.

Kit watched as the plane drifted over and Miss caught it and began reading something on it. Her eyes sparkled with curiosity and her ears stood straight up.
"What's that you're reading? Are you two keepin secrets? What is it? What's goin on!"
When she couldn't see the paper she wiggled impatiently and glared comically at the two in her weird bubbly manner.

Katie groaned, and then her voice hoarsely.. "You talk too much.." And then she flexed her claws a bit on kai's inner thigh,---probably almost too close to something for his comfort..

Kai squirmed a little in reaction to Katie's claws and tried gently pry the girl off and point her claws in a safer direction, glancing over at Kit with a slightly pleading look, "Yes, a little quieter for the sleepy one please?" he asked quietly.
