Kaze shook his head. "The only reason you don't know what you're doing," he started, "is because you're weak, Kana. If you want to do what you say, to make it so you're friends no longer have to worry about you, you have to start using your head!" He was scolding her, hitting her at the vulnarable spots she'd kept locked up in her head; he figured that now was the time she'd know he could read her mind... if she figured it out, anyway. Another sandstorm came on, increasing its intensity, in a matter of seconds, swaying Kaze's hair and clothes harshly behind him.
[i wasn't sure if we lost the last one or not, so i made a new one xD]

Kana continued glaring at him, but her eyes widened suddenly as she actually took in and processed his words. She hadn't told anyone her reasoning for doing this, had she? Can he... can he read my mind? she thought suddenly, and then jabbed an accusing finger at him. "Wh-what are you doing?" she cried. "My thoughts are supposed to be private!" She tried to recall everything she'd thought about and accidentally let him overhear, but her mind wandered too much to keep track. She thought she remembered calling him a dummy at least once, and she bit her lip nervously, but looked up as more sand began pounding on her bubble of wind. Some of it leaked its way inside while she'd been distracted, and she quickly reinforced it.

"I'm trying to help someone who wants to finish something. It's not my fault if that person refuses to simply use her head and figure some things out. This isn't simple; you need to find your own way of doing things and a new combonation of tactics! You say you want to stop your friends from worrying; the way you're going now that'll never happen!" Kaze yelled at her, knowing he was discovered. "I ignore everything a pupil may do-besides what goes on in training- until they can learn to think and act on their own and can stay steps or even miles ahead of me!" he continued on, his voice rising slightly with each word.

Kana shook her head quickly side to side. She didn't have any specific task assigned to her, so she wasn't sure what she was supposed to be doing. It's not that she wasn't trying to think about it, she just couldn't. She had no clue! Miles ahead of him? He wasn't even doing anything! She was used to being told what to do, so this was extremely frustrating that he was just keeping silent and expecting her to know. She just watched him, eyes narrowed slightly, as she floated above the ground in her strange bubble. She was ignoring the sand now, as it pounded around her, and was instead staring at Kaze intently.

Kaze just glared up at her. "This is what I mean, Kana," he started, "how can you expect to beat someone in a fight or escape when you don't know what to do or what to expect. People aren't going to tell you what to do forever. You're the one that controls your life, that makes decisions for yourself! You can't follow what other people say all the time Kana!" he shouted at her, disappointment ringing in it. "The day I learn to respect a pupil is when they deserve it. The day you learn to do what I expect of you and the day you learn to think for yourself is the day that will come," he finished, scolding her heavily as his voice continued to shut at her.

Kana bit her lip again, ears drooping as she dropped her gaze to the ground below. She still didn't understand, and she was feeling extremely dumb because of it. She knew she wouldn't be able to know what her opponent was going to do in a fight, but here she didn't have an opponent, did she? She thought she was going to be against Koichi today, but Kaze was the only one around. She growled softly in her throat in irritation, and decided to do the first thing that came to mind. She quickly added another layer to her windy bubble, doubling it in thickness. Then, without the sightest hesitation, pushed out that second layer hard in all directions, a wave of wind surging from around her.

Kaze smirked as he suddenly disappeared, reappearing in front of Kazan before he wrapped his arms around her, taking the impact on the sidelines.
Koichi took the first attack as the single to start. He jumped into the air, kicking himself off the wall, as he headed straight for the bubbles outburst, disappearing and reappearing on the other side before he could be hit. Within a second, he had pulled out his sword and postitioned it in both hands at his side. He hesitated, though, before he suddenly slashed it to the side then down really fast; with the speed of the blade, the lagging image of the sword looked like a 7.

Kana blinked, seeing Kaze disappear. She glanced around quickly before seeing he'd dropped back down to the ground. Then her attention switched to Koichi as he moved. She saw him coming towards her, but then he seemed to disappear as well. She looked around again, but her ear twitched and she spun around, seeing he'd made it to the other side of her. She threw up her hands instinctively as he swung, placing them to the edge of her bubble as she increased the thickness, of the areas where he struck especially. Meanwhile, the dagger drifted from her belt and hovered at her side, positioned there and pointing at Koichi.

"I'm sorry, Kitty," Koichi told her, still forcing his blade against the bubble; he was trying to break through it with all his strength, though, he was having a difficult time doing so. "Kitty..." he said, his voice somewhat strained as he looked at her; he really didn't want to be doing this, but there was no other choice and he he even had to go all out! Kaze, who'd protected Kazan from the attack, now was on his knees, slumped in front of her, the back of his shirt slightly scorched and torn away, leaving what seemed to be ash marks on his back.

Kana stared back at Koichi, still pushing at the bubble with both hands, both which were encased with wind for extra protection. Her teeth were clenched from the effort, but she still managed a small smile. "Don't worry about it," she said softly. Then her eyes darted down to Kaze just for an instant, widening slightly as she saw the male's back. Is he- are you ok? she thought anxiously, recalling after a moment he could read her mind. But then, she didn't wish to be shouted at for hesitating, so she returned her gaze to Koichi. A second later, the dagger shot forward, aiming for his side. She flinched as she did so, but this was a fight right? And Kaze was hopefully fine, so he could help with his healing abilities.

Koichi winced as he quickly put his foot against the bubble, kicking backwards in time to bring his sword up and have the dagger hit against it; he watched it drop before extending his hand, calling it back up to him. Within a moment, he threw his hand fowards, the dagger floating above it almost like a disk, at the bubble forcfully before he followed in its wake, his sword still drawn. He brought the sword back, his hands by his ear, before he trust the sword fowards, the tip of the blade heading for the bubble.

Kana watched anxiousy as Koichi pushed back, and was relieved to see the dagger didn't hit, though it was redirected back at her. She frowned as she saw him draw his hands back so far before swinging. That was a big opening, wasn't it? If he did it again, she'd probably try to attack, though she hated the very thought. As the tip of his sword came now, it managed to pierce the bubble in that spot. Her eyes widened as she backed up, pressing herself against the far end of the bubble she'd made. It did feel reall odd. It felt solid in the way it held her up, yet when pressed against it, she could feel the sides constantly in motion. She quickly refocused upon him, ready to fall through the shield to get away if needed.

Indeed, Koichi and the sword did not faulter on their path towards her. The blade, glinting suddenly from tip up to the hilt, started towards her; she had better move, or the blade would pierce right through her, and it was for that that Koichi was worried. "Move..." he whispered to himself, his eyes narrowed as he continued on. He didn't know what'd happened to that dagger he'd thrown, but he didn't care. He just watched her, his eyes threateningly screaming out death although full of worry at the same time.

[Ok! You're seeing Pirates, right? Tell me how it is!]
Kana froze for a second, staring into his eyes. And then suddenly, she felt herself falling backwards. She'd let the bubble disappear entirely and was falling quickly towards the ground, though she began to slow after a moment as the wind formed under her back and finally brought her to a stop. She blinked, then quickly shifted the wind to her feet as she crouched in midair, staring up at Koichi. She bit her lip anxiously as she decided what to do next. She ended up focusing another long, thin strip of air, then shooting it forward towards Koichi. It was what she'd blasted the ground with earlier, and she really, desperately hoped he would dodge. She didn't know what it could do, which is why she wished she had a tree to test it on.

Koichi's eyes widened suddenly as he tried moving his sword, but the wind knocked against it. Instead, it crashed, slicing his cheek slightly and his chest; the wind, though, hadn't stopped and sliced into his arm. He gave out a shout as his hand flew to the shoulder, the free one holding the sword. He clenched his jaw before he dropped his arm, charging with the sword in both hands again. "Kitty, I'm sorry!" he shouted, still heading at her; his movement, though, was swift and straight down towards her... literally straight down.
