Artemis wiped quickly some tears that were running down her face. She didnt want Marco to see her crying...AGAIN. She kept walking, leading the team, as she had promised. She didnt want to believe those girls at all but she couldnt help having doupts now.

Alexander gritted his teeth. "What did you do Victoria? I told you not to trust him!", he said. He wasnt mad with her though. He was mad with August. "He always finds a way to screw things up for everyone around him. After he screwed his own life that is", he said.

Kristofer stopped and turned to her. "Its not my feelings that are questiong here Fade. Its yours", he said in a stern, but worried tone. "I love you and I will always love you no matter how much you hurt me or ignore me", he said. He picked her up and took her in her tent. He laid her on the bed. "Try to calm down now", he said. He, himself was trying to stay calm but some of his sadness showed in his eyes. "You are hurting yourself and the baby too", he said.

Marco came back. "Are you allright love?", he asked her when she showed upset. "What happened?"

Victoria didnt want to upset him. "I am sorry but i did it for you. Sarapen told me that he is the only one that managed to combine his two selves in one, so i told him....to do this to you too.....So we could be together. Sarapen hurts me....I love you Alexander....", she said.

Fade looked at him. "You are doupting me. I love you, i love YOU! And the fact that you are repeating the past...I take that like you want to cause me pain. The pain i caused you when i was ignoring you. I never said you werent right, but you shouldnt mention that on front of Victoria....She has her own problems...", she said and touched her belly again. The bady had calmed down but she was hungry and the baby too. She didnt want to tell him.

Artemis shook her head. "No. I am fine Marco", she said and hugged him. She felt better with him there. "I just dont like to be away from my tree", she giggled. He was her tree now and if her tree proved to be nothing but burnt ash, she would have to endure it.

Alexander sighed. "I know he had. He was the only one who managed to do it", he said but then he paused. "What did he ask you for?", he demanded to know. Because he knew his brother all too well, he knew that he must have asked something terrible from her.

Kristofer gritted his teeth. "When you were ignoring me?", he snapped. "I was your little plaything Fade. The thing that you used to kill your time when you were bored", he said. "Do you have any idea how it feels to know that the one you love is not only using you and ignores you but is sleeping with a different man every night?",he asked her, his face now showing the depth of his sadness and loneliness all these years. "Do you have any idea what I've been through every night that I had to watch over you so that noone would bother you and your lover?", he said. His voice was really low. He looked at her and bit his wrist. "Drink", he said and brought it to her mouth. "If you say no, I can force you", he said.

Marco kissed her. "Fine. Then you tell me that im not telling you what I have on my mind...", he said.

Victoria got up and made a walk in the tent. "She asked me to be his....slave.....I dont know what he was on his mind...."

Fade took his hand trying to say no. She put a lot of effort to take it to his mouth. "You drink", she said. "I never saw you telling me that this hurt you back then. You liked to be my play thing. Do you doupt that i have changed?"

Artemis laughed and kissed him back. "Dont be silly. What can a tree fairy have on her mind other than her tree?", she giggled ansd started walking again. "Come on, you are slow for a tree", she teased him. "We have to get going"

Alexander bit his lips. "His slave? And you agreed. The moment you agree, you signed a contract with him. You cant tell him no and you are forced to do what he wasnt, even if you dont", he said and laid on the bed, watching her. He flexed his wings a bit.

Kristofer sighed. "I dont need to drink Fade", he said and kissed her. Her run his tongue over her fangs and made it bleed in her mouth. He pulled away after a while. "No you can drink, or I can force you", he said. He wasnt looking at her anymore. "Fade, you need to understand that I couldnt complain. How could I? You were my Queen", he said. "And you are the one I love. It was the only attention you were giving me Fade", he was almost whining now. "I couldnt complain because you would have stopped and I didnt want you to stop", he said. He didnt answer her questiong though.

Marco laughed. He believed her. "Allright. So will we camp for the night later?", he asked. He looked at the people behind him. They didnt look exausted yet.

Victoria looked at him. "I agreed for you....And what he could be the worst thing he could ask me?", she asked. She really havent thought about it, her only thought was to save Alexander.

Fade didnt took his hand still. "You didnt answer my question.", she said and she refused to look at him. "You will never learn what i felt for you and what i have done for you..."

Artemis looked at him. "I dont know. If you want to. I am not tired. I can walk all night", she said and shrugged her shoulders. "I dont mind Marco", she said and went to him. She took his hand. "I love you", she said.

Alexander thought about it and then froze. "nonononononono", he got up and started pacing up and down the room, like an angry hurricane. "If he touches you I WILL kill him", he shouted. August wouldnt dare...

Kristofer sighed. "I dont want to think about it so I dont know what to answer to you", he said. "Some part of you might have changed but you cant have changed that much in such a little time. Changes take time Fade", he said and sat on the bed next to her. "I will never learn, because you will never tell me. But you expect for me to be honest and always tell you what I think and what I feel", he said in a somewhat bitter tone.

Marco gave her a warm smile. "Ok we will see", he said and hold her hand tighter.

Victoria got closer to him. "Relax. I dont think that he would do that....", she said. "Please do not argue with him. Will you combine your selves though?Would you do that?"

Fade didnt speek. He didnt know. And he was right. She wouldnt tell him. "You would never understand. You can ask my father. Im sure that youll go to him anyway. You are obssesed. You want to kill him so much. And once you dont take my words seriously youll go. Although you call me Fade now and not your lady....Thats the only good thing...."

Victoria run to him and hugged him. She had a stupid smile on her face. "Why Sarapen takes your place?", she wanted to know.

Fade put him on the bad and she got up to him. "You want to know?Fine!He wanted to kill you, when i was very young. When i was a girl....I loved you since then, cause you were different, and he let you live. But he did something else in exchange", she said and she cried bad, with sobs that didnt allow her to breathe.

Fade lied down. She tried to relax. She didnt want to harm her baby in any way. "He made me sleep with someone....I was only twelve....And being bitten by him. When my brother found out he left. Thats why Reiko left....", she said and cried. He knew. She dint know he would react.

Fade was hurt. "I am sorry i caused you so much pain....I never meant to....I even did this for you...im sorry....", she said and cried. "I dont remember his name, but ill never forget his face.....He was handsome in the face but not in his soul....", she said. "Excactly as my father. Reiko took me from his side but My father chased him after. He almost killed him and erased his memories about me. You remember my brother right?", she asked.
